What happened in Turkish football today? 28/10/2017
Alvaro Negredo has found 1st goal at team and brought win to Besiktas.
After not being able to win games for 4 weeks back to back, Besiktas has got an important win against Alanyaspor during 10th week game with Alvaro Negredo scoring his 1st goal at the 87th minute which led him to find long-awaited goal at most critical moment and hence led team to win game.
In fact, with how game has been developing and Besiktas showing an attacking and dominating football at the front, the way Besiktas was making those attacks did look like that it would lose other 2 points at the league as Alanyaspor did show organised defence against Besiktas. Besiktas especially during 1st half didnt show tempo which was awaiting from team team during today's game and hence did have difficulty to dominate game and to some extend during 1st half Alanyaspor did provide much difficult game but quite naturally with playing against tough opponent has led to defend which to some extend has helped Besiktas. One of the most important aspects of the game, Negredo has found an important goal to the team but also to himself as from now on he would feel more comfortable at attacking areas for the upcoming games. Only downside which could be seen is that Besiktas has become tired prior to Champions League game against Monaco but since it has won game it would also go to that important game with a win and also ending bad luck period for Negredo.
As been stated, despite of making too much defence during 2nd half against Besiktas but Alanyaspor did show good performance against Besiktas and carries on showing impressive game since winning Trabzonspor from returning 3:0 loss. It needs to carry on this performance in upcoming games.
Therefore without doubt Besiktas has taken two positive aspects from game which are to win game and also end bad luck for Alvaro Negredo. Those factors would raise motivation prior to crucial Monaco game at Champions League.
Galatasaray does come out as favourites but it wont be easy against Trabzonspor.
Galatasaray would be aiming to get into winning ways again as it would be meeting with Trabzonspor during Super League 10th week game which promises to be a tough game for Istanbul side despite of tough days of their opponents.
As long-term followers of Turkish football would be knowing Trabzonspor performance against Istanbul giants, especially at its home has always provided top football and hence Galatasaray would have tough time. Stating that in sense of mentally and organisationally Galatasaray would be coming as strong favourite and if their wont repeat same mistakes as their did against Fenerbahce by change formation and style of play normally their wouldnt have tough times. It is reported also that Selcuk Inan would be starting game very likely and would have a good chance to mark his mark against his old club and show fans and also head coach Igor Tudor how important he is to the team still. Galatasaray player Bafetembi Gomis meanwhile would certainly aim to find a goal after not scoring last week against Fenerbahce.
Galatasaray would come out as favourite but as long their would play their own football their would be able to win game but Trabzonspor would give them tough time at game.
Trabzonspor needs to believe it can beat Galatasaray.
In other hand, Trabzonspor does come out as struggling team against Galatasaray and low morale and even through it did manage to win against Corum Belediyespor with 6:0 scoreline and regain high amount of motivation it will tough time due of different levels of opponents.
Trabzonspor as whole team and head coach Riza Calimbay does see Galatasaray game as very important opportunity to get huge motivational boost which is been missing at the team more or less for last 2 seasons and also allow to solve some organisational issues. In fact, to some extend Trabzonspor would be aiming to improve its performance at the game tomorrow and not for a win, and if it plays very good game quite naturally would get a win likely. However, Trabzonspor would have tough time as Galatasaray would aim for a win and to some extend role of its fans would play an important role at the game. It does have however an issue at the forward as Burak Yilmaz and Ndiaye are injured while Hugo Rodallega will not be able to play due of red card against Corum Belediyespor. Trabzonspor should believe its own strength and see game as new beginning for them.
Galatasaray would come out as favourites but getting into the mood with trying to improve themselves to be top team still , it should believe it can provide huge dissapointment to Galatasaray.
