Fenerbahce didnt show much creativity against Goztepe

Fenerbahce continues showing poor performance in the recent weeks as it has drawn against Goztepe without showing very impressive game for 90 minutes of the game.

It needs to be noted that Fenerbahce did show pretty low tempo game with allowing Goztepe to be one to get control of the game and providing much more dangerous attacks even through there were who were favourites when coming out to the game. It does look to some extend that Fenerbahce does have issue with showing strong controllable game and does look to be not believing much into its own strength as it did lose tempo which is needed and didnt provide much creativity in the front which hence led for side to end game with low amount of opportunities while Goztepe been side which created and looked for opportunities.

Trabzonspor continues its confident undefeated run in the Super League this time beating against Fatih Karagumruk showing patient and controllable game.

As been noted in our previous entries, Trabzonspor in recent weeks especially due of opponents getting more focussed and being side to beat did lead them to reduce fast tempo and provide much more controllable and patient with using its opportunities when get strong goal opportunity and providing strong defence. Without doubt, Trabzonspor did show once again to be side which seems to be more organised, motivated and organised side which provides incredible advantage to get wins as it been clear during this game. With scoring on both halves, one from penalty, at the right time without doubt also affects to opponent morale.

Besiktas got unexpected loss to Giresunspor during Super League with losing game with 4:0 scoreline and does continue its poor defence and couldnt show strong reaction both after conceding goals and recieving red card.

There was expectation for Besiktas to provide some strong reaction following poor results in the recent weeks both domestically and European performance couldnt show much reaction as Giresunspor did show attacking focussed gane and using mistakes which were presented from Mert Gunok who without doubt did have very poor night making unexpected mistakes while during 4th goal did come from injury which very likely Giresunspor players were not focussed as both sides showed during game. This performance and result without doubt shows that side is being at incredible decline and being very far from side which did win title in previous season as Sergen Yalcin position as head coach is being questionable.

Galatasaray got strong result against Olympique Marseille.

Galatasaray got very important against Olympique Marseille with 4:2 scoreline providing high level European level performance with securing its entry to knockout stages and being 1 point behind crucial 1st spot in the group.

Galatasaray did provide strong performance from start of the game with getting attacking style game providing needed pressure to Olympique Marseille goal which led for great goal from Cicaldau and also pressuring Caleta-Car with making mistake with own goal. In fact, Cicaldau did provide his best game since he joined this team being highly focussed and also taking crucial leadership role in the side. Even through towards end Olympique Marseille did provide some pressure to Galatasaray and found goals, Turkish giant is being one who did control game and got well-deserved win. Now it would be needing to win Lazio to pass next knockout stage but it would be tough game.

Galatasaray are showing top game at Europa League but it needs to find solution to continue this level of game in the Super League.

Fenerbahce provided poor game against Olympiakos.

Fenerbahce continues showing decline with its performance as it did lose to Olympiakos during last minute goal and only secured Conference League.

Even through Fenerbahce would be seeing February at the European tournaments, it needs to be noted that entering to Conference League for level like Fenerbahce is not good outcome. But in same way it performs right now it would be hard to state that it did deserve to be at knockout stages. To some extend it did provide strong and to some extend better game during 1st half being closer to goal but 2nd half it did provide much slower when it needed to win game and this game without did go into hand to Greek side. Fenerbahce did get confidence from Galatasaray win but it didnt manage to get into same level in this performance.

Fenerbahce didnt provide same level performance which it shown during derby and it needs to figure out why it didnt especially Vitor Pereira

Besiktas will be motivated to beat Giresunspor.

Besiktas would be focussing to start its poor performance in recent weeks against Giresunspor and would be coming out as favourites but it could be more tougher then looks.

Even through Giresunspor are being underdogs in this game, it does show some improvement in recent weeks and mentally would be in more confident then Besiktas. However, Besiktas would be aiming to end its poor performance which it shown so far and sees this as turning point which could mean it would try to show much more attacking game and effective game. Giresunspor still would give its chance with good defence and looking for counterattacks in return.

Galatasaray continues providing strong determined performance at the Europa League focussing into ending group stage at the top spot getting one step closer to that aim with getting win against Olympique Marseille in its home ground providing strong attacking game and without doubt goal from Cicaldau did play important role to get closer to this aim and led for side to get more control of the game and scoring 2 more goals with Feghouli and Caleta-Car own goal.Even through it did concede on 70th minute it did manage to stay focussed with finding 4th goal on 83rd minute. Olympique Marseille did struggle to show top game in such important game looking to be pretty passive without being able to show reaction to Galatasaray on 1st half and now would be focussed to get for Conference League.

With Fenerbahce beating Galatasaray on weekend with good game its been expected that it would transform this game but its been dissapointing end for them.

Besiktas continues poor performance at Champions League

Besiktas has continued its poor run at the Champions League as it lost to Ajax which did come out with 100% winning run to the game while Besiktas lost all of its game.

Stating that Besiktas did provide its best performance in the tournament during 1st half of the game with creating opportunities and providing pressure to opponent, but in same time it did play against opponent which did come in relaxed mode knowing that draw will be enough for them to get to knockout stage. Besiktas continues its poor performance this time against Ajax

Besiktas continues its losing streak at Champions League after losing to Ajax at home ground with 2:1 scoreline as it continues to provide poor defensive game and hence ended any chance to continue its European journey at any competition.

Poor performance of Besiktas both at Champions League and domestic league continues to be case during Ajax and even through Besiktas did lead game since 22nd minute until 54th minute, thanks to penalty goal from Racchid Ghezzal penalty goal it still could be noted that Besiktas didnt provide too much pressure to Ajax even through there was golden opportunity from Cyle Larin to score 2nd goal towards end of the 1st half which could bring them to get important advantage prior to 2nd half. Still, this result could provide some worry to its head coach Sergen Yalcin who is not getting good results in recent weeks even through supporters still provide trust to him until now.

Trabzonspor continues winning games.

Trabzonspor has raised its undefeated run at the Super League to 25 games, as it has won Gaziantep with 3:0 scoreline with finding goals on 1st half with having some absences at the field as it did come out with 3rd goalkeeper.

Even through Trabzonspor did win game with confident scoreline with 3:0 scoreline, it is hard to state that their were dominating game with letting Gaziantep some key opportunities during game. Without doubt, referee wrong decisions did play some unwanted result to the game as there wasnt given red card Trabzonspor player Hugo Fernandes on 5th minute and also penalty has been ignored by same player which unfortunately and quite sadly did affect to concentration of the side. Trabzonspor meanwhile once again didnt provide dominant game as it doesnt in recent weeks but still continues winning games and with how opponents play raises point difference and get closer to title by each week even through it is still early days.

Trabzonspor continues winning games and belief for winning title this season gets more but their need to stay focussed as there is still long time.

Besiktas would be coming to formality game against Ajax

Besiktas will be coming out to formality against Ajax at Champions League which does aim to end group stage in the top of its group but still for Besiktas this game is opportunity to regain self-confidence.

Besiktas is having nighmarish season especially when taking account that it did win double on previous season and now as side would be seeing this game as opportunity to at least regain motivation but this could be hard since Ajax is having very good season and have all intentions to carry on like this as Besiktas on their part is being also difficult psychological condition and could be having trouble to get focussed to game once again in such conditions. Still, Sergen Yalcin would very likely demand for players to provide much more fighting spirit and some confident performance.

Besiktas would be coming for prestige and country coefficient but it would be difficult task against Ajax without doubt.

Erce Kardesler has become injured.

Trabzonspor player Erce Kardesler did become injured prior to Gaziantep game and following checkup its been reported that recovery process did begin.
