Fenerbahce has won against Yeni Malatyaspor in calm manner.
Fenerbahce has managed to get comfortable win against Yeni Malatyaspor with two very early goals coming from Ozan Tufan and Guiliano at the early stages of the game which allowed them to play game at mediocre tempo afterwards against this season new-comers.
Fenerbahce was coming out to the game as it had very important period as it would be meeting with Galatasaray and Kayserispor who are currently above them at the table and needed to into right track for such crucial period of this season for Fenerbahce. Only downside from today's results is to concede goal during 68th minute which means that it has conceded at least one goal during this season and an area which needs to be solved at the defence especially taking account how good Galatasaray plays an attacking football especially at home. Fenerbahce did provide good image during this game but still it needs to be stated that Yeni Malatyaspor didnt provide top football and hence could not be good reference point prior to Galatasaray. Meanwhile, it was important for Fenerbahce to start well and get a win with Giuliano and Ozan Tufan also finding goals who been pretty quiet so far during this season. Only issue as been stated is for Fenerbahce to find solution during its defence.
Yeni Malatyaspor even through was coming as weaker side and unfavourably, with losing two very early goals and also conceding at 28th minute has affected to team and didnt allow them to play best football as it had lost motivation. Yeni Malatyaspor did improve at 2nd half though but needs to be careful in upcoming games especially against strong teams.
Fenerbahce has got an important and calm win against Yeni Malatyaspor at the game which it needed to win and has got very good motivation against Galatasaray and therefore Fenerbahce would shown to them that their winning them at least wont be easy.
Akhisarspor humiliates Trabzonspor at their home ground.
Trabzonspor has recieved totally unexpected results at its home during Super League 8th week game as it has lost to Akhisarspor with 6:1 scoreline at the game where it wasnt able to get any control of the game.
In fact, Akhisarspor has played one of its easiest game it can imagine to against Trabzonspor especially taking account that it was playing away game. Trabzonspor had a serious issue of concentrating towards the game from start to end and didnt provide any football which was visible at them in recent weeks even through it could be hard to define that their had good season even without humiliating loss to them. The talks as remembered towards resignation of Trabzonspor Ersun Yanal has been going through long time and with such a loss it is close that this could be come even sooner than expected even through once again there is chance that Trabzonspor administration would use its patience and believe that Ersun Yanal but it should be treated as surprise if Yanal would like to resign himself. The team is in very bad condition and this was visible from today's game once again.
Meanwhile, with Akhisarspor realising from start of game that their got in hand very poor Trabzonspor has used it to their opportunity and has raised to 3rd place with finding 6 goals against Trabzonspor at away game, hence would have incredible motivation boost for upcoming days.
Trabzonspor does need serious changes at its team especially at technical aspects either by changing names at coaching staff or how team is being prepared to the games. This would be very hard week for Trabzonspor.
Galatasaray carries on winning even with poor performance.
Despite of providing poor performance with slow tempo against Konyaspor during Super League 8th week game, Galatasaray has managed to win an important game with 2 goals from team star player Bafetembi Gomis.
Compare to previous games, apart of Antalyaspor, Galatasaray has provided one of its slowest games at this season without showing much attacking football but in same time their did provide good defence game without conceding goal even through it needs to state that Konyaspor did lack also creativity. With yesterday performance Galatasaray needs to be thankful for having player like Gomis or otherwise the game would very likely end with the goalless draw. Another talking point meanwhile from game has been fact that Galatasaray has started game with only one foreign players which is 1st time ever to happen in the history of the Turkish League since its start taking place in 1958. To some extend Igor Tudor did send an important message towards quality of Turkish players both in country and at team. However, it needs to be stated that introduction of Turkish player and captain of team Selcuk Inan did provide positve affect and has led team to win game with playing poor game.
Galatasaray would be going to the derby game against Fenerbahce with having 6 point advantage with 2nd place team Goztepe and being only team which didnt lose yet a game. Their are looking as favourites for derby but its hard to call this game and who knows maybe Fenerbahce will give 1st taste of loss to this team this season.
