Fenerbahce didnt show any top performance against Akhisarspor.

As this blog has argued that Fenerbahce has finally got to its best form of the season it has provided probably its worst performance since start of the season without providing any top football with game ending with 1:0 scoreline during Super League 7th week game.

It became clear from start of the game that Fenerbahce was providing slow football and has done lots of mistakes with passes and has created very slow football and wasnt able to create any chances during whole 90 minutes. It needs to be stated that Akhisarspor has created intense defence and Fenerbahce could not respond to this defensive game and does have issue at controlling game during 90 minutes. Fenerbahce has been very far from its performance at Alanyaspor and Besiktas and after improving after those two games quite opposite has went backwards at today's game. 2 red cards which has been recieved by Fenerbahce did come into critical times but the way Fenerbahce has performed it was clear that those red cards would not change result in high probability. Fenerbahce has played game without much risk when it needed to show especially towards last minute and does show again that team is in serious conditions right now.

Akhisarspor tactical game was obvious to slow down tempo of the game and not allowing Fenerbahce to play game which also assisted them for Fenerbahce playing poorly. From game it was clear that Akhisarspor aim was not to concede if got chance to score, as their did today. Its important win for them but Fenerbahce played a role for such a result.

As been mentioned after good results during last 2 weeks, Fenerbahce has went backwards and reminded that team does have serious issue at performance wise, area which Aykut Kocaman needs to think about during national team break.

Konyaspor win would define rest of the Europa League campaign.

Konyaspor has made an important achievement during Europa League Group I 2nd week game against Vitoria as it has managed to win its 1st game at the history of tournament during its 2nd season and now have a good opportunity to get to the next round.

It needs to be stated as was stated by Konyaspor head coach Mustafa Resit Akcay, who have shown great results last season with Osmanlispor at the tournament, has managed to make one step closer to get into European level and even through it could been argued that Vitoria is not very strong opponent, it was still a 1st win. In fact regardless who would been opponent and their strength it was crucial to win this game. Stating that Portuguese league are among leading leagues at Europe it was great achievement to win them. This win would certainly led different stance at the team for rest of the games at the group including next two games against Salzburg. Without doubt Konyaspor fans who have seen 1st time their team this season live has done great job and more of this needs to be done in next 2 home games for Konyaspor for it to make to next stage of tournament.

Konyaspor as been stated needed this win and its especially important for it to win at the early stages of the tournament and with group being upclose now it can aim for top 2 spots with this motivation.

Abdullah Avci is getting important European experience with Basaksehirspor.

Basaksehirspor who has come to this group stage of the Europa League with high expectations even through does provide pretty good football so far wasnt able to turn this into result which could been due of mainly club's experience as been stated several times at this blog.

Even through the players at the team has good experience at the Europe it needs to be mentioned that even through Abdullah Avci without doubt has provided great achievement at the Super League for number of years, he doesnt have much at the Europe and might have trouble to manage club probably. So among, players getting its experience at the Europe among main people who gets experience and valuable lessons from Europa League is Abdullah Avci. This lessons would certainly will allow him to improve by each week and with having quality squad the team still has chance to clinch 2nd place spot at the group if it start using its tactics rightly. Stating that, Basaksehirspor did show good performance and Emre Belozoglu free-kick goal still shows that he is team leader a factor which would be important for next games at the group stage.

Basaksehirspor didnt start group stage great but its still has potentiality to get to the play-off round but it needs to improve with performance for that obviously.

Konyaspor wins its 1st game at the Europa League in its history.

Konyaspor has managed to win Vitoria Guimaraes during Europa League Group I 2nd week game and hence winning its 1st ever win at the tournament after 2nd season or in other words after 7 games. With this being at 2nd half this win would also provide some hope for play-off ticket at this season.

Konyaspor which has been criticised a lot during its Europa League performance at the past seasons has created some number of the chances during game and has managed to win it. Even through it is hard to state that game has been played with high number of the chances, Konyaspor was one which has created dangerous chances and had to some extend dominated game from start to end. This was without doubt a very important win for them as it would allow them to aim for getting much needed confidence at the tournament at its European journey. Only possible downside for Konyaspor side has been of conceding goal towards end after 2:0 but once again this is historical and an important win for them. It also needs to be reminded that this game has been 1st for Konyaspor with its supporters due of ban at the Super League and this factor without doubt has provided great motivational boost to the home side players.

Stating that Vitoria are among weakest teams at the group and didnt provide a good performance during the game which has been in hand for Konyaspor. It does look like Vitoria might be outsider at this group.

Konyaspor as been stated has been won a very important game which is also their 1st win at the tournament and now would look more confidently and self-belief for upcoming games at the tournament.

Braga has used its experience to win against Basaksehirspor.

Basaksehirspor has lots its game against Braga with 2:1 scoreline during Europa League 2nd week game with 2:1 scoreline against one of the experienced teams at the Europe which as been mentioned at yesterday's blog has affected game.

Taking account that Braga has also been playing at the home ground has affected to the Braga providing good and forward seeking performance and was much more better prepared to the game.
Stating that one of the most positive aspects of the game has been for Basaksehirspor to find goal in very fast manner from conceding 1st goal as Emre Belozoglu after 2 minutes of conceding. In fact, Basaksehirspor did provide a good performance during game and did show some fight at such difficult away game. As been mentioned, Basaksehirspor experience as club at Europe is not much would provide such poor results but it would need time to get used to it and still can turn group around with upcoming two games with Hoffenheim which now turns to be a tough game for them in upcoming two weeks. Basaksehirspor has chance to turn around its performance at the group.

Braga has provided a very good performance at its home ground as it was used to play with Turkish clubs and has provided this experience in positive note against Basaksehirspor and in their side has good result.

Meanwhile, Basaksehirspor did provide good performance at its only 2nd game at group stage but could provide even better and is expected to improve against Hoffenheim in next two games.

Fenerbahce is coming out 1st time as strong favourite during this season.

With Fenerbahce winning past two games against Alanyaspor and derby game Besiktas with scoring in total of 6 goals in those past games has provided a good motivational boost and it would be aiming to carry on this performance during Super League 7th week game against Akhisarspor.

With also national team break coming up for next week, Fenerbahce would also aim to get to it at high mood with a win against Akhisarspor and carry on its high level performance which it has gained from last two weeks. It became clear from those games that role of Vincent Janssen and Giuliano is being very important and without doubt it would be aiming to carry on this high level performance at the game against Akhisarspor. Fenerbahce head coach Aykut Kocaman one of the main issues has been of lack of motivation from their players but it is clear that their had regained that factor during last 2 weeks and this would be an important aspect for game tomorrow. Besiktas slowly moves to achieve high accomplishments at Champions League.

Besiktas has marked an important history by winning against German club RB Leipzig at the Champions League Group G 2nd week game with 2:0 scoreline and hence becoming 1st team among Turkish clubs to win first two games at the tournament.

With such a good performance by Besiktas it does show itself to be team at the European level which it proved not only against RB Leipzig but also against Porto on 1st week, which by the way has won away game against Monaco with 3:0 scoreline. Even through with being still early days at the group competition it does need to be stated that Besiktas has very good advantage for getting to the next stage as it has 5 points difference against 3rd placed team and can even fight for top spot. Meanwhile, during the game the role of Besiktas has played once again an important role which could be observed by Timo Werner even becoming deaf during game. The story was that he asked for ear puds do not hear supporters but it has brough him dizziness instead. With such fans Besiktas is expected to get great results at home and even more importantly now what it would do at away games. The team without doubt has set a high aims for this season and its slowly but effectively moving to achieve that.

What is important here that Besiktas is not only winning games but winning in high level performance which is always hard task to do at tough tournament like Champions League regardless who is opponent. If it wont make mistakes it can achieve a lot in this season.

Basaksehirspor inexperience factor might once again play role against Braga.

Turkish clubs at Europa League would have small battle with Portuguese clubs as Basaksehirspor would be meeting with Braga and Konyaspor with Vitoria Guiraes. As was the case, at 1st week Basaksehirspor would meet with team which has high experience at Europa League during past seasons.

But even more crucial Braga did meet both with Besiktas and Fenerbahce during last 2 seasons in Europe and did gain pretty good results so good news for them, and bad news for Basaksehirspor is that it would be tough game for them. Basaksehirspor without doubt is team which is capable to get to the play-off round, but as was obvious at last game against Ludogorets experience does plan an important role. However, it is expected that Basaksehirspor did get a valuable lesson from actually good performance at last week game and even through Braga is stronger opponent for them, it should be expected to raise its level with its performance. Still Basaksehirspor needs to focus at the defensive aspects of the game if it wants to get good result.

Looking at the game neutrally and taking account factor of experience Braga does come out slightly favourable but it wont be certainly big surprise if Basaksehirspor would win game tomorow.

Konyaspor needs to play more brave football at Europa League. 

Unfortunately as this blog has stated lots of times in last 2 years, Konyaspor are not in the level of the Europa League and hence even through it would meet with one of the easiest opponents at the tournament, it does need to provide extra effort to win the game.

Main advantage for Konyaspor that it would be playing at home which in same time would be their first game where it would be meeting with its own fans due of TFF supporters ban. Therefore and taking account importance of the game it is expected that Konyaspor fans would be filling up the stadium and hence provide an important motivation for their side in such crucial game. Konyaspor meanwhile needs to provide much more brave football if it wants to win game without forgetting about its defence, the task is not specifically easy for them but their capable to achieve that. Konyaspor crucial aspect is to provide more brave football and see what would that bring as playing too cautious wont bring much to them in Europa League.

Konyaspor needs to stop seeing this as good experience and chance to get valuable lesson at this tournament and start fighting for wins if it wants to show successful performance.

Besiktas has shown perfect start to Champions League with back-to-back wins.

Besiktas carries on its perfect start to the Champions League Group G as it has made 2 out of 2 following win against RB Leipzig with 2:0 scoreline with mainly great performance during 1st half and high level defensive game during 2nd half.

Besiktas from start of the game has shown with its performance that it considers to win game with providing forward seeking football which has certainly provided unexpectancy from RB Leipzig and with very effective were forced to defend. As been mentioned at the Porto game during last week of the tournament, Besiktas has shown that its providing high level European football and with this football could get into play-off round of the tournament. Meanwhile with such a great game Besiktas has marked history by becoming 1st team at Champions League to win back-to-back 2 games at the group stage and has won its 1st game against German club at its history. RB Leipzig has been provided much better attacking football but with Besiktas providing good defensive football and
Fabri being careful at the goal it has managed to end game without conceding it.

RB Leipzig meanwhile couldnt get into the mood of the game from start and  provided better performance during 2nd half but it was too late as Besiktas has managed to control game for most part of the game. Leipzig did provide good image during 2nd half for their part and got an important experience for young players.

Besiktas has made another mark in its European history and has certainly has become team at the level of European football and does show that it would be achieving successful season at Champions League this season.

Antalyaspor are close to appoint Leandro as club's head coach.

Antalyaspor carries on making eye-catching announcements as after summer transfer window it is close to appoint Italian coach Leandro who has very good results at his past and has worked with big clubs around Europe.

Antalyaspor even through did start season very poorly and is located at the bottom of the table, does have incredible potentiality when looking at the squad and hence it could be seen that this was case was explained towards Leandro by Antalyaspor CEO Ali Safak Ozturk. Galatasaray provides best football at the league so far.

Galatasaray has managed to win against Bursaspor during Super League 6th week game with providing right tactical game from head coach Igor Tudor with his unexpected substitutes during 2nd half and showing everyone that he does have plan B in his hand.

Even through Galatasaray carrying on this period without losing any league games, only one to achieve that so far at the league, it didnt provide a great 1st half performance where Bursaspor was able to control game in the way it wanted and providing good defensive football during the game. However, with Bursaspor getting tired but even more importantly Igor Tudor changing tactic of the game with number of substitutes, Galatasaray started playing more attacking football and more importantly Sofiane Feghouli has found his 1st goal with his new team with his 1st shot of the goal during the game. Galatasaray 2nd goal scorer Tolga Cigerci has also carries on great start of the season arleady scoring more goals than he did before this season in his career. It does look like Galatasaray is team to beat during this season and for now does look like candidate number 1 for league title but again it didnt yet play with any of the league title contenders and didnt have strong test yet as team.

Regardless of that Galatasaray does show great football at the field and would come out as favourite when it would meet with those opponents in upcoming weeks.

Besiktas have advantage over Leipzig at Champions League game.

Besiktas would be coming back for its journey at the Champions League against Leipzig during 2nd week and would certainly aim to make 2 out of 2 at the tournament so far as it would be playing among most unpredictable team at the group.

Besiktas has been affected negatively certainly from Super League 6th week game against
Fenerbahce but the mood of the players does give signs that their had been recovered from that loss and now would look forward to make 2nd win at the group and make Porto win in previous week more meaningful. Besiktas would certainly also get strong help from its fans at its own stadium and would come out with pressing football showing no signs of being scared from their German opponents. Stating that as been mentioned Leipzig as could be seen as easiest opponents at the group are actually not as weak as their come from German league and has met with more tougher opponents compare to Besiktas but this inexperience at Europe and also from supporters could provide big psychological pressure to German side.

Its hard to state that Besiktas as strong favourite but factors such as fans and experience does put them into good advantage for game.

Erkan Sozeri resigns as Karabukspor head coach. 

Resignation and termination of head coaches carries on at the Super League early stages of this season, as Karabukspor head coach Erkan Sozeri has announced his resignation after losing to Yeni Malatyaspor with 4:2 scoreline yesterday.

Erkan Sozeri has stated that his stay does lots of damages to the team as it is not providing good performance and the team players are actually better players and are capable to provide better football. It does need to state that leaving team prior to Galatasaray game, one of the toughest game for any team this season does put team to come out without head coach on 30th September unless it is close to make transfer deal which we are not aware of. Stating that with recent resignation among coaches, with all being Turkish, there is chance to get among this to push team even further and better results. Karabukspor does have potential as team to improve with its result and with new coach it can go forward.

Meanwhile, Erkan Sozeri has joined to list of resignations and termination of contracts as it does look like there would be further coming out in upcoming weeks unfortunately.

What happened in Turkish football today? 24.09.2017

Galatasaray has managed to turn game around during 2nd half against Bursaspor. 

Galatasaray carries on being only one team at the Super League after 6th week who didnt lose any single game even through it was losing to Bursaspor until 73th minute with 1:0 scoreline but has turned game and won it with 2:1 scoreline and make them leaders of the league with 3 point difference from Besiktas.

It does need to mention that Galatasaray did not start game in a way which we we were used to see from them during this season as it had trouble to get high tempo which was mainly prevented from Bursaspor. It was expected that Galatasaray would have tough time as Bursaspor has much higher aims with its head coach Paul Le Guen during this season compare to last. In fact, until 2nd half Bursaspor has shown very good performance but it needs to be mentioned that introduction of players such as Sofiane Feghouli has raised tempo. It was important for Feghouli to find this goal as he is among biggest investments during past transfer window and has found goal during his 1st shot of the game. Galatasaray had struggled and it be stated that Bursaspor at least deserved draw but the way performed towards end of the game has led them to win game with 2:1 scoreline. It was important for Galatasaray to get an away win even when it didnt perform its best during today's game.

As been mentioned, Bursaspor does continue showing an improvement from last season and has managed to keep leading scoreline of 1:0 for 73 minutes taking account that Galatasaray provides fast attacking football. It did play great tactical football but due of losing concentration and becoming tired didnt manage to keep top football until end of the game.

With Besiktas losing to Fenerbahce, Galatasaray has 3 point advantage at the early stages of the Super League but more importantly carries on season with important wins and are still only team at league not losing game so far.

Fenerbahce has found itself into title race punch after Besiktas win.

When coming to the Super League 6th week game against Besiktas, Fenerbahce has only one option for the game and it was to win game and get back to the title race fight in early stages of the season. With the help of its supporters, it has gained result it was looking for.

The game between both sides has been in high tension which to some extend went into hand of the Fenerbahce as it was able to control game and dominate the game as it wanted for most part of the game even through it did lose those control occassionally during 2nd half of the game. It needs to be stated that penalty decisions which were given by referee of the game Ali Palabayik, who has recieved lots of criticism from Besiktas, were correct but number of cards given were questionable. It also needs to be reminded that Fenerbahce carries on showing its dominance at derby games in general but especially during its stadium as it has managed to not lose to Besiktas for 14 games right now as it became clear that Fenerbahce supporters does play very important role for its fans. It was deserved win for Fenerbahce even through it didnt play perfect football for 90 minutes.
Fenerbahce got itself back into title race right now and to some extend has restarted its season once again as it is 2 points behind Besiktas and 5 points from Galatasaray and would now look forward to Akhisarspor game.

Besiktas cant show high performance in high tension games. 

Besiktas it needs to be stated did start game in good manner and has shown good performance during 2nd half of the game where it also has found a goal towards end of the game. But referee, who did make right and wrong decisions during game, did affect negatively to the team.

One of the possble down sides of the Besiktas is that it is uncapable to provide very good performance at the game where there is tension. Even through team mainly focus to playing top football which in long-term is good thing, it is uncapable to control game at tension games which been created by referee and/or by opponents. This has always led for team to lose points and its only area which team needs seriously to improve on. Even through Ali Palabayik decisions could be seen to harsh, there was moments during game where he was right and Besiktas did show some agresive game which only done damage to them. Positive aspects for Besiktas is with this result its still ahead of Fenerbahce and still has control of its destiny which it currently mainly giving battle for top position with Galatasaray. But in same time it did lose chance to get point difference higher from Fenerbahce and hence this is not as ok result for them as it might seem as it has lost chance for more advantage from its one of main rivals.

Besiktas has been affected certainly for this game but its important to forget it and now focus to very important game against Red Bull Leipzig at Champions League 2nd week and continue its good start after Porto win.

Fenerbahce two penalty goals has put them into middle of title race.

Fenerbahce two penalty kicks in high tension game between has decided winner during Super League 6th week game against Besiktas and has recieved its main target as it was game which would rather keep them at title race on early stage of the season or make their dreams for league title to be almost over with only 6 weeks to be played.

It needs to be mentioned that even through high tension game in some occassions didnt assist Fenerbahce at some sections during game however when looking in overall the game was played into how Fenerbahce has wanted for it to developed. Apart of some sections of the 2nd half, especially start of it and during last minute, Fenerbahce has controlled game and even through has found goals via penalties has also decided to find an important positions during the game. The game meanwhile in overall has affected with both teams recieving by red cards during game and Ozan Tufan has recieved after final whistle due of his complaints. The refereeing of Ali Palabayik didnt really manage also control game with some decisions including cards affected to the game. Its hard to state that Ali Palabayik has taken sides during game but his permission was not at high level. Stating that all penalties were found by Fenerbahce were done fairly. Fenerbahce to some extend has wanted game more and has found itself once again at the middle of the title race as mentioned above.

Besiktas in other hand has tried to turn game into its advantage especially at 2nd half in the start and until 2nd goal it did look that Besiktas could have turned game and possibly end game with 1:1 scoreline at least, even through game was open to any scoreline. Besiktas did try to play its high level football but didnt manage to provide it with possibly being affected by Fenerbahce fans who played an important role during game. It does need to state Besiktas two yellow cards by Ricardo Quaresma has been done in careless matter as it is seen occasionally by him for some time until now. Even through Besiktas didnt provide as stated its best performance during game today, but it was always at the game and concentrated which would understand to find equaliser as soon as Janssen has found 2nd goal for Fenerbahce. The tension which was created by referee and sending off to stands of its head coach Senol Gunes did also affect for this final result. The team would now need to forget for today's results and now focussed into RB Leipzig at Champions League 2nd week which would be very important game for them.

Fenerbahce has got result which it needed with such a poor start and now finds itself 2 points behind of Besiktas which are fighting for league and also Galatasaray even through their would still play against Bursaspor tomorrow. Alanyaspor has given valuable lesson to Trabzonspor

Without doubt the comeback against Trabzonspor by Alanyaspor has been done mainly be its star player Wagner Love who have found 3 goals with 2 goals from penalties as it has managed to show great comeback from 3:0 to win game 4:3 during Super League 6th week game.

It needs to be stated that this scoreline has happened due of relaxation and strong self-belief of winning game after Trabzonspor has found 3 goals until 32nd minute and has been believed that it has got a win into the pocket. Even through this comeback from Alanyaspor show not be reduced and has been done at great fashion and character, Trabzonspor loss of concentration has led to this outcome and Trabzonspor has learned a valuable lesson which it needs to keep in mind if it wants to fight for league title, as it been stated by head coach Ersun Yanal. As much as Trabzonspor has good potential to have very good season in same time it has this negative aspects from previous season to show poor performance. It is known that Trabzonspor are showing unease arleady as their had missed at least to be team which would fight for league title.

This game was very important remind to Trabzonspor that game is 90 minutes and its need to stay focus regardless who are their opponents and Alanyaspor showed this lesson to them.

Galatasaray would come out as favourite but Bursaspor will aim to continue its top football from last week. 

Galatasaray would have one of most hard away fixtures as it would be meeting with Bursaspor during Super League 6th week where it would aim to carry on its leadership at the table and show top performance.

Bursaspor meanwhile would certainly would focus into defence.

Alanyaspor has shown historical comeback against Trabzonspor with help of Wagner Love. 

Alanyaspor has shown one of the most memorable comebacks at the history of the Super League as it was losing game with 3:0 scoreline against Trabzonspor during Super League 6th week game while playing very poorly at 1st half, but managed to win game with 4:3 scoreline.

Trabzonspor did start game in very high note and during 1/3 of the game has been winning game with 3:0 scoreline where the teams has been dominating with its performance and was providing that it would win game without much trouble as it was dominating game. In fact, while watching game there was plan to write about poor performance by Alanyaspor during this season. In case of reasons why Trabzonspor has lost game, that has somehow lost control of the game following 3:1 scoreline and during 2nd half has lost high performance especially at the midfielding area. As Alanyaspor was finding goals during 2nd half, its motivation has been raised while Trabzonspor was drastically losing its motivation and self-belief to turn game into its advantage as game has progressed. With losing 4:3 scoreline to Trabzonspor while winning with 3:0 does show lack of concentration for 90 minutes at least of this game. One of the main reasons has also been relaxation from 3:0 scoreline after 30th minutes.

Fenerbahce would be coming out to its most important derby game against Besiktas for a long time as it doesnt have any choice to win game which would be played on Super League 6th week.

It needs to be reminded that right now point difference between both sides is 5 points with 5 games to be played as it is known Fenerbahce has started very poorly but has gained a very important motivation following win against Alanyaspor during last week. Fenerbahce would also play its game at home which would provide an additional advantage to the side. Meanwhile, the main role as always would be related of performance by footballers and there is also high expectation from Mathieu Valbuena and Vincent Janssen which has shown very good performance during Alanyaspor. Its very hard to call favourite especially during those game but with Fenerbahce having an upper hand at the derbies with strong support from its fans it would be expected that Fenerbahce would come up as ones who are close to win the game but time would show on the day. Fenerbahce just needs to be play like this game would decide if their would be in league title as to some extend it does right now.

Even through without doubt Besiktas would come out in better mood due of their great start to league and win against Porto it needs to be remembered that their would meet also with Leipzig on 26th September at Champions League which would have direct impact to their performance on the night.
Still Besiktas does play very good football and are tactically are in better conditions than Fenerbahce and also in higher motivation which are important factors prior to the game. Hence if watching at performance level Besiktas would be expected to win comfortably but in games like this especially away this doesnt play an important role. In addition, Senol Gunes performance both at Besiktas and in other clubs as head coach is not very good and would provide some worry and advantage to their opponents psychologically prior to the game.

Still if Besiktas would play its own football without being distracted from other factors it does have good chance to win this game and make point difference with Fenerbahce as 8 points.

Besiktas has won Konyaspor without much issues.

Besiktas carries on its winning performance both at the Champions League and Super League as it has managed to win Konyaspor during 5th week with 2:0 scoreline and hence has gained its revenge for Super Cup which it lost to them last month.

Besiktas has started game with an attacking football style as it started going forward and hence found hence an early goal from Cenk Tosun during 10th minute and as game carried on has got whole control of the game without giving any hope to Konyaspor. In addition to fact that Besiktas has improved as team from Super Cup final it needs to be stated that Konyaspor is not performing as same as it did during Super Cup game which led to such a comfortable game. In addition, Besiktas winning against Porto during Champions League has played an important role for today's performance as it carried on its motivational help during the game. Well deserved game by Besiktas since it managed to do all of the aims which it has set in today's game.

Konyaspor which has been praised a lot following Super Cup game from this blog and media wasnt able to fulfill and carry on this performance during 1st 5 weeks and has carried on this poor performance in today's game. Konyaspor does need to improve to have any aims both at league and Europa League.

Besiktas carries on its top performance so far during this season and has equaled once again with top of the league Galatasaray with 13 points. It would now look forward for derby game against Fenerbahce on Saturday.

Trabzonspor did show positive aspects at the game.

Turkish Super League 5th week game between Basaksehirspor and Trabzonspor has been played between two clubs which wanted to win and even through it would been argued that Trabzonspor did show great performance, it didnt use its opportunity to win team which has been tired from game 3 days ago, as it has drawn with Ludogorets at Europa League.

Stating that, even through this blog keep referring Trabzonspor among candidates of league title it still needs to develop a lot as the team and the main thing for this season could be develop its team and make team to be able compete for top spots in this season and crucially in future seasons. With taking account that team is developing and does play against another candidates of league title  Basaksehirspor 2:2 scoreline would be seen as good result with taking account that team was leading twice. In other side of coin, it didnt manage to keep this leadership. Still the team players did show positive performance and there is lots of positive things which needs to be taken against this game for head coach Ersun Yanal among lessons which could be learned from this game performance. Still the youth players are showing good performance and does show that team's focus into their development is worth it.

Trabzonspor is still developing as a team and would get stronger as season progresses but as usual it would need to get better and would show if its in good position with next week against Alanyaspor and after Besiktas.

Fenerbahce has got motivational boost with help of Alanyaspor.

Fenerbahce has been closest to its perfect performance during Super League 5th week game as it has won game with 4:1 scoreline which could be seen as unexpected result due of poor performance of the team.

One of the main advantages of the game is that Fenerbahce has found its first goal from an attacker, as 1st goal of the game has come from Vincent Janssen and has arleady shown that he would be very helpful for team during this season. Even through it could been argued that Alanyaspor style of play has allowed Fenerbahce to play that kind of football and should not be misleading with overall team performance this result would certainly provide motivation boost for the team and help them to show good football against Besiktas. Still it doesnt mean it would come as favourite against them though. Mathieu Valbuena has once again shown as most at form player at the team with finding two goals and being most active player at the field. He is now most important player for a team if it would get positive results.

Fenerbahce has found scoreline which it desperately needed, especially before Besiktas game, with the help of Alanyaspor and would now would look forward for 23rd September.
