Galatasaray got an important lesson from Molde without paying too much damage.

Galatasaray has reached to the Champions League group stage after beating Molde at home ground with 2:1 scoreline and with an aggregate scoreline of 5:3, but it needs to be mentioned that Molde did provide some difficult moments to Istanbul giants.

In fact, and in all fairness, when coming into how much effort has been given at 180 minutes and also during 2nd leg game,  Molde has been better side as it had much better organisation but did lack quality legs compare to Galatasaray and hence to some extend that home supporters in 2nd leg and also quality generally in tie has been decider at this tie. With taking account that on group stage there would be much more difficult clubs, this game has been a valuable lesson which Galatasaray would take out a lot prior to group stage as luckily it didnt turn into negative factor. Galatasaray still did reach into group stage and this also has played an important role as its detirmanation did help side.

Galatasaray would found its opponents at Champions League during group draw where it would be coming out as 4th pot and logically would opponents which are stronger than them.

Adana Demirspor will aim to turn around tie against Genk.

Adana Demirspor without doubt would be having most toughest game among Conference League Turkish clubs as it would be aiming to turn around 2:1 deficit but it does have home factor advantage.

As been noted on our blogs before and after 1st leg, Adana Demirspor does provide different performances at home ground and away at Europe mainly due of its experience, and it needs to be noted despite of loss, 1 goal deficit is being possible to turn around. However, Adana Demirspor would need to provide patient game against Gent as it does have experienced side at qualifiying stages at Europe compare to Adana Demirspor, and hence side would need to show full concentration and patient performance and pay attention to defence as goal from Genk could provide some serious issues at this tie.Adana Demirspor also have strong home support and it would need to use to its advantage.

Adana Demirspor has difficult task without doubt against Genk but there are some factors which keeps hopes high for them.

Besiktas needs to be calm against Dynamo Kyiv

Besiktas would be coming out to Dynamo Kyiv tie with an aim to build on its advantage scoreline of 3:2 as it would be playing at home ground as it would play against side which aims to turn tie.

It needs to be mentioned that Dynamo Kyiv due of on-going Russian invasion to Ukraine, as other clubs in Europe, tends to play with emotions with an aim to bring some good news to suffering home ground. Therefore, Dynamo Kyiv would be playing in emotional matter and hence Besiktas would need to stay calm and patient as it has advantage of scoreline. Meanwhile, Besiktas supporters would need to keep themselves outside of war issue as Fenerbahce behaviour in last season during which Vladimir Putin scants has been taken only provided bad image to the club and almost went into diplomatic levels. Besiktas without doubt would need to give everything to win game but still some respect as always would need to be given to opponent.

Besiktas are being favourites for sure and key here is to provide calm game with an early goal surely would be an important plus for them during game.

Galatasaray has went through group stage despite struggling against Molde

Galatasaray has qualified to Champions League group stage after beating Molde with 2:1 scoreline at home ground with an average scoreline of 5:3 but it needs to be mentioned that in duration of two legs, it wasnt an easy game at all for Galatasaray.

Galatasaray it needs to be mentioned did once again struggle against Molde despite of strong belief in the Turkish football community and feeling at club itself that this game would been pretty easy. Galatasaray in fact didnt have a good start of the game with Molde did show from that moment that it has all seriousness to provide some problems to Galatasaray but a penalty position at 7th minute did come into saviour for side as Icardi did convert goal and has in fact did control of the game as it started providing some attacking game even through unwanted injury to head of two Malmo players has affected to how 1st half has been developed. It needs to be mentioned that Galatasaray had a problem which tends to be case with Turkish sides is to provide too much relaxation too early as Molde started providing high amount of pressure in 2nd half and with such pressure did find goal with Helstad and almost got an equaliser drawat game. With Angelino goal in the end of the game, it could be stated that Galatasaray has been lucky to get through.

Molde it needs to be mentioned did provide very good performance and in some moments has been better side in 2 legs and it did look case its not situation of artificial field which been mentioned at 1st leg. It could be mentioned that Molde would provide very good performance at Europa League.

Galatasaray has went through to group stage but it could be stated that it has been through thanks to quality factory as it wasnt much better with performance wise as Molde provided many issues.

Ahmet Nur Cebi is doing opposite what Seba achieved.

Besiktas CEO Ahmet Nur Cebi has stated that he would for himself to be remembered as club's legendary CEO Suleyman Seba but his statements and attitude is only doing harm of the club and himself.

We are seeing Besiktas CEO Ahmet Nur Cebi to be rising tensions during recent period and making populist statements without much achieving and rather than admitting that summer transfer window didnt go as well as planned he started to find excuses why some players were not signed and provided populist statements that team would become champions in early as 3rd week of the season. This taking account that club is providing most strongest performance on the field among top 3 clubs and at the games which it wins it did so in nervous manner and without showing top level game for 90 minutes. Seba has managed to make team which was having symphatizers even more different clubs supporters but now it is being turning of with remarks towards TFF and statements during devastating earthquake regarding of points.

Ahmet Nur Cebi might see himself to be doing some good job but this could be very arguable when looking how is club percieved by people.

Basaksehirspor loans Ousseynou Ba

Basaksehirspor has loaned Olympiakos player Ousseynou Ba a player which would be expected to strengthen side significantly for upcoming season as Basaksehirspor does need to strength its squad due of not very effective start of the season.

One if the most dissapointing starts of this new season has been Basaksehirspor and team is currently looking for solutions with making some transfers and one of them is being Ba which is being potential player and does provide strong fast-tempo game which could be very important for team in attacking sense as he could be taking pretty important role in the field as he is being player into level of whole team and could lead even ahead with creating some important chances starting from midfielder. Hence, Ba could be taking very important role in the team and this would also be an important part of new career.

Hence, club did sign an important player for upcoming season as club could show strong offensive game in upcoming season.

Galatasaray would be coming out to Champions League play-off round 2nd leg game against Molde as it has small but significant advantage prior to home game as it only focussed right now to get to the competition group stages.

Hence, Ankaragucu would be coming to its 1st game at its home ground which as it is known has also strong supporting and hence the team would be played at great atmosphere and even through it might not be big advantage from home ground when looking into quality of side, they would not be having a disadvantage of lacking supporters if it has played at Istanbul side. Meanwhile,it needs to praised for Ankaragucu to make sure that stadium would be ready on time.

Hence, such crucial game for both sides would be playing at Ankara home ground which could have positive impact to home ground and generally to game.

Trabzonspor continues showing ineffective performance on the field as it lost to Rizespor.

Even through Trabzonspor didnt provide good level performance during all 3 games during this season, including winning Antalyaspor during opening week what is more worrying that it does show decline of its performance which would provide some worries to impatient supporters.

Coming to the Rizespor game which it did lose with 3:2 scoreline, it needs to be mentioned that it took some long time for them to get into game as it did look pretty passive and couldnt respond to Rizespor who did provide an organised defence game and also has used an attacking game. When coming into mindset of players and also tactically game it could be seen clear that Rizespor did want to win game much more than its Black Sea region rivals and hence did deserve game much more. Trabzonspor head coach Nenad Bjelica would hence need to find solutions if it wants to turn this poor performance around.

Therefore, Trabzonspor are being on serious decline right now as team and needs to find solutions of such ineffective performance right now.

Fenerbahce has released licence of Omar Fayed.

Fenerbahce has released licence of Omar Fayed which shows that club has been satisfying into training session which player has went through as he did go through checking period and even through he might not be yet starting 11, he proved to be showing some potential.

Omar Fayed in sense of duration has been most sudden transfer as there were not much talsk about him and it is very likely that he has been suggested by one of the scouts and with providing some ongoing and hard working on training session did show his capacity as it was known that he is being potential player. As been noted, it would be unlucky for him to be regular player but he might try to show himself at regulars or be loaned to other club for club's future plans.

Omar Fayed is being signed as future potetnial player and recieving licences shows he has went through 1st barrier in his career path at club.

Basaksehirspor close to loan Emirhan Ilkhan

It is reported that Basaksehirspor are close to loan Torino player Emirhan Ilkhan who has joined Italian side from Besiktas as he wanted to check himself in European league but didnt have good period so far.

Emirhan Ilkhan as been noted has been seen as potential player and had some big plans by Besiktas administration but his willingness to join European football could be seen as understandable but to some action he did move a bit too earlier, acting too fast which did affect low amount of playing time he had in Torino and hence joining Basaksehirspor would be able to give chance to get some playing time and develop as player and possibly return to Italian side at better form and possibly have better restart so this move for sure has been good one for Emirhan Ilkhan and be turning point in his career especially with European focus.

It is likely that Basaksehirspor would use him for many times in upcoming season and as been noted this would provide chance for him to develop as player.

Rizespor showed strong organised performance against Trabzonspor

Rizespor has managed to get its 1st win of this season at the Black Sea derby as it got an away win against Trabzonspor with 3:2 scoreline as it was winning game with 2:0 and later 3:1 scoreline while Trabzonspor continues showing ineffective performance for 2nd week back-to-back.

Despite of beating Antalyaspor on the opening week, it could be noted that Trabzonspor start of upcoming season has been unsuccessful as it providing pretty ineffective performance in the last 2 weeks as during Rizespor game it only raised tempo in the end of the 2nd half with an aim to safe draw after 3:2 but it needs to be mentioned that Trabzonspor has been side which did bring itself to its condition as it didnt show much creativity in the attack despite being side which did control game. It also has serious issues at defensive game where it didnt prevent Rizespor counter-attacks as it looked pretty slow and unready to Rizespor which did use its opportunities in effective manner. This has also been 1st loss at home with Nenad Bjelica which would be an area which he would work on during upcoming training sessions.

Rizespor meanwhile did show great focus with its performance as showed good organising game at defensive game and also used its opportunities in good manner in the attack scoring 3 goals. With Rizespor hence providing best performance of this season so far, this could be turning point for them for rest of the season.

Trabzonspor continues showing not very effective and it needs to find solutions as soon as possible to be more comfortable on field if it doesnt want to continue losing points.

Fenerbahce finally signs Dominik Livakovic.

Fenerbahce continues making eye-catching transfers as it signs Dinamo Zagreb goalkeeper Dominik Livakovic after showing transfer negotiations during whole summer and with both sides showing patience.

It needs to be mentioned that both sides has made transfer deal back in June and also Livakovic wanting to join team but Dinamo Zagreb did have an option for him to stay during Champions League qualifiers. It needs to be mentioned that with Livakovic wanting to join Fenerbahce and also Altay Bayindir joining Manchester United as there was lots of pressure towards him, both player and club did provide some pressure to Dinamo Zagreb to make transfer deal to happen as 6,650,000 euro+950,000 euro deal. With being World Cup 2022 star with Croatia, Livakovic meanwhile does show strong performance on the field and would provide important strength at goalkeeper both in league and Conference League.

Hence, Fenerbahce did make an important transfer for its goalkeeper position even if it did stop its tradition of playing domestic players.

Fatih Karagumruk loans Besiktas player Kerem Atigan Keskin

Fatih Karagumruk loans Besiktas player Kerem Atigan Keskin for 1-year as it would provide an important strength to moderate Istanbul side with player who would get much playing time in his own club.

As it is known, Kerem Atigan Keskin is being player with high potentiality and has been to be seen to be so when joining Besiktas but with signing lots of high-level players including at defence, Besiktas using of Keskin in upcoming games has been low and hence it would been advantegous for all parties for him to be send and Fatih Karagumruk has been a great option for him as he would be recieving much more playing time and become one of the key players and play an important role with achieving a role to end season at top half as Fatih Karagumruk without doubt is aiming to achieve.

Hence, this loan deal has been win-win deal for all parties as Keskin would be recieving some important playing for his development while Fatih Karagumruk would play quality player and Besiktas would hoping that player could come back next season with Keskin being much experienced.

Fenerbahce dominated 2nd half against Twente.

Fenerbahce got a confident win against Twente with 5:1 scoreline as it has especially dominated game after 30 minutes as red card of an opponent has played an important role with making things easier.

In all fairness it needs to be stated that Fenerbahce didnt have a very good start of the game as Twente did get some control of the game with aggressive performance and did find relatively an early goal and no signs has been that Fenerbahce would get such confident win with such scoreline. However, with red card and also some important changes in half-time by Ismail Kartal, Fenerbahce has got full control of the game and started to dominate game on the field with getting goals back-to-back in 2nd half. It also needs to be mentioned that Sebastian Szyamanski has been key player not only during this game but also in whole season generally so far scoring at each goal and providing assists.

Fenerbahce hence did get a very important advantage in this tie and something totally unexpected needs to happen for side to be relegated after 2nd leg.

Besiktas has got win but there are still questions regarding performance.

Besiktas did get an important win against Dynamo Kyiv in Bucharest, Romania as it been highly tempo game where Besiktas players did lose concentration in some points as Besiktas did get win with 3:2 scoreline.

With taking account that Dynamo Kyiv has been affected by war and also playing mainly with its younger players, as much as Ukrainian side needs to be admired some criticism needs to be given to Besiktas as it didnt provide good performance. Besiktas doesnt only provide some poor performance on the field for some amount of time in 90 minutes but also tends to struggle for  most amount of time which seems to be case at the team since start of the season. Still, its been important for side to focus into game at least mentally and newly signed player Bahtiyar Zaynutdinov did find an openning goal in last minute game in his debut at team.

Besiktas did get an important win and would be coming with advantage at home for 2nd leg but it can relax as Dynamo Kyiv still being at tie.

Adana Demirspor inexperence didnt let them keep advantageous scoreline

Without doubt factor of experience between Genk and Adana Demirspor at European competitions did have its impact as Genk looked to be more organised in last minutes of the game with turning 1:0 to 2:1 win.

Adana Demirspor did have actually some good moments and did find very good goal with Samet Akbaba in sense of organision and did provide some good attacking game which did provide some issues to Genk. However, last minutes both showed that team would need to improve its away performance at European games and also whole experience in general as Genk seemed to be more calm and focussed despite of being behind. Adana Demirspor wasnt too behind but thats loss of concentration and possibly fill of pressure in the end did cost them an advantage scoreline for 2nd leg.

Good news in this tie is still open as Adana Demirspor does show good performance at home ground with strong supporters.

Fenerbahce got confident win against Twente at Conference League play-off round.

Fenerbahce has got very confident win against Dutch side Twente at home ground with 5:1 scoreline during Conference League play-off round 1st leg game despite of getting behind 1:0 in the start of the game.

It needs to be mentioned that Fenerbahce didnt have very good game as Twente seems to be possessing ball and looking for chances and did find a goal in pretty organising game but it needs to be mentioned that game did change after Oosterwolde goal on 33rd minute and afterwards red card of opponent due of harsh foul towards Mert Muldur the game has changed entirely. It needs to be mentioned that side did get needed lesson as it did get behind from game against Gaziantep as Fenerbahce looked to be much more organised and focussed as game progressed and with some right changes at half-time especially of Irfan Can Kahveci as Fenerbahce has provided dominant game on 2nd half and has got a very confident win and it could be stated confidently that it did get ticket to group stage unless something unexpected does happen during 2nd leg.

It needs to be mentioned that Twente did have good start of the game and did find an early goal but things did go downside and turning point for them has been red card as it couldnt provide much turn around. Now its chances for next round are being pretty low.

Fenerbahce hence did get very confident and important win as it could look forward to 2nd leg where it would need to just stay focussed and organised as today.

Besiktas got an away win against Dynamo Kyiv.

Besiktas has got an important win against Dynamo Kyiv at the game which been played at Bucharest,Romania during on-going invasion of Russia as Bahtiyar Zaynutdinov goal on last minute of the game could have led for side to get of the group stage of the competition.

It has been accepted for game to be very competitive as sides between those clubs tend to be played in such manner and it has been case for this game too as both sides did play for win especially during 2nd half. It needs to be mentioned that Besiktas in overall did provide pretty confident positive performance with looking into opportunities and chances as it look for chances and did found goals with its key players Vincent Aboubakar on 40th minute and later did go ahead once again with goal of Omar Colley. However, one of the issues which Besiktas continues showing is some lack of concentration as it did concede 2 goals when it did get ahead and to some extend it needs to be thankful for Zaynutdinov to score in last munute of the game as it didnt let to Dynamo Kyiv to get ahead but there are some signs which Beisktas needs to improve on.

Dynamo Kyiv without doubt effort to provide top European performance should be praised due of on-going situation which is going at their home ground but this has also affected to the quality of the team and it did become clear for some parts. It does have some issues when coming to 2nd leg.

Taking account that it did get an away game win, Besiktas did good result with some positive aspects and would look optimistic for 2nd leg game without doubt.

Adana Demirspor get optimistic scoreline for 2nd leg despite losing to Genk.

Adana Demirspor did lose 1st leg game against Genk due of last minute goal from Munoz, but it needs to be stated that side did provide pretty good confident performance for 90 minutes and in fact did have good goal from Akbaba.

As been noted, Adana Demirspor did provide pretty good and confident performance against Genk as it did show some good attacking game and did find a great goal on start of the 2nd half Samet Akbaba. But it could be noted that experience factor between both clubs did play its role as Genk started showing much more aggresive game while Adana Demirspor did lose organisational game. It oculd be also noted that Adana Demirspor not very good performance at away game has been seen once again as it didnt get dominant performance which we used to see from this team at Adana. Still it did show some good performance but to get through it needs to learn some lessons especially on defensive game.

Genk has shown its experience which has been expected as it did provide much better and organised game especially after getting behind 1:0 and did show patient game to get back and get goal on last minute of the game.

Adana Demirspor inexperience at Europe has been present in such games but it did end game with result which would provide some optimism for 2nd leg game.

Galatasaray got advantage against Molde at tough game

Galatasaray has got an important away game against Norwegian side Molde at pretty strong fought game as both sides has provided pretty top performance as there were moments when Istanbul giant did struggle but winning goal from Norwegian player Midjtso has led side to win game.

It needs to be mentioned that game didnt start in a manner which Galatasaray did seek for as among conceding goal on 8th minute from Ellingen it also didnt provide any control of the game and also tempo as Molde did provide good attacking game. Meanwhile, looking at 90 minutes it could be sadly stated that Galatasaray defence has continued showing ineffective performance not only at conceded goal but also in generally as Victor Nelsson performance continued to go down. Quite opposite however could be stated as it could be seen from goals coming especially Mertens and Icardi once again showing how much both players understand each other on the field. However, as been noted there were times when Galatasaray did lose tempo and control game and has led Molde to keep ball and hence create chances and find 2 goals.

Molde meanwhile did provide pretty confident and positive football with creating chances and has provided much better performance than has been expected from football supporters and to some extend has been unlucky to get such result and did show signs that it could provide issues towards Galatasaray in 2nd leg.

Galatasaray hence did get an important win at away game against Molde and got tough and struggling performance.

Fenerbahce will have tough game against Twente.

Fenerbahce will be meeting with Dutch well-known side Twente as last stage to the Conference League as it would be aiming to continue its strong performance it showed in the start of the season and get result it seeks for.

It needs to be mentioned that both Fenerbahce and Twente are being side which are at least being on level of Europa League and hence not getting to group stage of Conference League would  be seen as failure for both sides and this could have its impact towards game. Even through level of sides are not very far from each other, it does need to be mentioned that during this squad of Fenerbahce is being much more stronger to Twente and have players which can get goals when needed. Fenerbahce are being favourites on this game but it would not be necessarily be an easy game for them and they need to stay focussed for 90 minutes.

Fenerbahce hence are favourites but Twente would give some issues to which Fenerbahce defence will need to be careful during game.

Besiktas needs to be aware of issues which could come from Dynamo Kyiv

Besiktas will be coming out to Conference League play-off round, last stage until group stage as it would be playing against Ukrainian side Dynamo Kyiv against who Turkish clubs did play multiple times with getting generally unwanted results.

Foremost, it needs to be stated that as all Ukrainian clubs it did affect negatively due of ongoing Russian invasion to Ukrainian soil but it still being dangerous team as it does have potential players in its squad and also strong motivation which is coming from patriotism due of situation in the country.Hence, Besiktas would need to stay focussed especially it does provide some worries with its performance especially when losing 2 points to Pendikspor in last league game. Besiktas need to provide strong and effective performance to get positive results.

Dynamo Kyiv as mentioned tends to be problematic side for them and team would need to find solutions to get win in such crucial game in Bucharest.

Fenerbahce continues its winning run this time beating Samsunspor.

Fenerbahce has got an important win against Samsunspor with 2:0 win from Edin Dzeko and Szymanski as side has provided much more effective and stronger performance during 2nd half.

It needs to be mentioned that due of condition of the field and also possible tiredness, Fenerbahce didnt have much good start of the game as it lacked needed tempo which would been awaited from them and also conceded some chances from highly detirmined opponent which did aim to provide positive attacking game but did lack last touches. Fenerbahce did manage to turn around game during 2nd half with providing much more effective and stronger game as assist from Cengiz Under did once remind everyone great partnership they had at AS Roma and would be accpeted to carry on similar line in this level. Fenerbahce did become only side to win 2 games in the start of the season factor which would provide motivation and confidence against Twente and upcoming league games.

Fenerbahce is not still playing its ideal performance but despite of that it is showing pretty strong and effective performance on the field without doubt.

Galatasaray needs to be focussed at game against Molde.

Galatasaray would be coming out to the last stage of the Champions League qualifying stages as it would be playing against Molde at play-off round at the tie where it would be favourite but it would be toughest test for them since start of qualifying campaign.

To some extend and even through Galatasaray does seem to be one of the classics side to be at group stage at the Champions League, Molde also would be eager to get into this tournament especially taking account that it been mainly competing at Europa League at previous season and hence would be providing strong game. Galatasaray are favourites when looking into squad but Molde is being an opponent which needs to be taken seriously and with Galatasaray not showing good performance in all fairness at away games does mean that it would be providing much more organising game especially at defensive game. It does look like Mauro Icardi would meanwhile play an important role at attacks during this game for sure.

Galatasaray are being favourites but it would need to get its opponents seriously if it doesnt want unexpected surprise.

Sides competing at UEFA competitions will not play this weekend.

TFF has announced that games at the Super League 3rd week game of sides participating at UEFA competitions at play-off rounds will be postponed at upcoming days as all opponents will not also play in respective domestic leagues on weekend.

Games which been postponed have been Istanbulspor-Galatasaray, Fenerbahce-Basaksehirspor and Adana Demirspor-Besiktas as with one games being between Conference League sides has also reduced game to 3 for not playing. It needs to be mentioned that such tactics sort to speak has been used earlier in Turkish football up to 2000's and this time has been introduced not only due of importance but also due of fact that earlier all opponents will not be playing in respective leagues due of same reason. This would for sure to provide time at weekend to prepare for 2nd leg games in such crucial game for clubs and Turkish football in general.

Its being question when games would be moved to but national team break could provide some dates towards TFF as dates would likely be announced in upcoming weeks.

Fenerbahce is being only team to win 2 games after beating Samsunspor

Fenerbahce has won Samsunspor with 2:0 scoreline thanks to both goals from Dzeko and Szymanski during 2nd half as Istanbul giant is being only side who has made 2 out of 2 and are being sole leaders of the season as it did show strong performance on 2nd half.

It needs to be mentioned that Fenerbahce didnt start game as it wished to as it did fail to get full control of the game and Samsunspor has created some very dangerous chances and could have gone ahead if it manage to get last touches and overpass goalkeeper during 1st half. Stating that, Fenerbahce during 90 minutes did show signs that it is willing game and has been focussed and looking for solutions. But main difference from Fenerbahce during 2nd half has been that it has looked into chances more actively and did raise tempo. Meanwhile, Edin Dzeko did show himself that he is taking leadership role and also partnership which also been present at AS Roma some years ago with Cengiz Under is still being in touch as he did provide great assist which led for side to get an opening game. It also needs to be mentioned that Fred has been unlucky as his goal has been disallowed due of offside earlier during game.

Samsunspor meanwhile did provide good performance for 2 weeks back-to-back despite of being newly promoted as it does aim to show positive football with looking for chances and does need to find ways to convert attacks but so far attitude does show it would get results in upcoming weeks.

Fenerbahce has been only side to get 2 out of 2 in the start of the season and even through there is still long way until end of the season, this factor would provide confidece and motivation for upcoming weeks.

Besiktas didnt take Pendikspor serious enough.

Besiktas has lost 2 points against Pendikspor during Super League 2nd week game due of last minute penalty goal at the game where it showed too much relaxation and didnt focus entirely and hence are responsible for this loss.

Besiktas has provided strong reaction and criticism towards referee decisions especially peanlty kick and not counting 2nd goal from Omar Coley due of referee decision that ball went out of field during cross and even through in 2nd decision they have argument, they need to focus on their own performance. Quite possibly Pendikspor looking to be modest club and also losing to 5:1 to Hatayspor on previous week did provide calmness to the side especially after getting ahead of 1:0 scoreline. This game has been hence a valuable lesson to all clubs and especially Besiktas that games are not won unless you dont give full concentration and effort on the field.

Meanwhile, Besiktas CEO Ahmet Nur Cebi has send letter to TFF CEO Mehmet Buyukeksi regarding his unhappiness of referee performance and attitude towards them to some extend again getting behind from refeees due of poor results.

Besiktas signs Bahtiyar Zeynatanov for 4-years.

Besiktas has announced that it has signed CSKA Moscow player Bahtiyar Zeynatanov as it would be using blue card option of foreign player limit as he would be excluding due of coming from Turkic nation.

Most important advantage and decision from Besiktas to sign him has been his strong performance on field and also showing adaptility at almost every spot on the field with his strong place being at attack. With such transfer, Besiktas would be able to use him as alternative player to any spots when needed without worrying too much of foreign player limit. Being close to the culture it would not be expected for Kazakh player to have much issues at adaptation period and he did show his high level performance at CSKA on previous season.

Besiktas hence did sign an important player for 4-year as this duration also shows trust towards him by club.

Besiktas draws against Pendikspor due of not taking serious its opponent.

Besiktas has got unexpected draw against Super League newcomers Pendikspor as it has conceded on last minute of the game from penalty kick of Oscar Romeo as Besiktas did provide pretty slow and ineffective performance.

It could be noted that after getting 1:0 result thanks to Coley goal on 12th minute, Besiktas did show signs of tiredness and also calmness as it did provide performance like it has won game taking account that 1:0 is being very critical scoreline regardless who are opponent. Besiktas did provide some worrying signs even if it did win an opening game and also did get good results at Conference League and this has become even more clearer during this game. It needs to be stated that with an early goal scored by Colley and generally controlling game during 1st half did provide view that Besiktas would be winning game without much issue but this certainty from players has led them to lose concentration which led to penalty. Probably most important lessons which Besiktas needs to get from this game is that no game is being won without being won and regardless who are opponents are, it would be using opportunity whenever it gets one. Besiktas to some extend has got reality check to technical staff and players.

Pendikspor without doubt did get very important win for themselves and did get motivation and confidence boost for upcoming games especially after losing to Hatayspor with 5:1 scoreline on opening week. This result could lead Pendikspor to restart its season and would now look more optimistic to upcoming weeks.

Besiktas hence didnt get much seriousness and mood to get win against not very difficult opponent, to all respect to them, and now side would need to take hard lessons for rest of the season.

Galatasaray gets its first win at league thanks to Mauro Icardi.

Galatasaray has won its 1st league game during 2022-23 Super League season as it played against Trabzonspor during 2nd week at home ground with getting 2 great goals from its leading player Mauro Icardi at the game where referee performance has been criticised.

It needs to be mentioned that Galatasaray did significantly improve compare to an opening week as it provided much more attacking focussed game as it started effective attacks on midfielding and didnt look much more fresh and creative compare to Trabzonspor. It also needs to be mentioned that Mauro Icardi did come out at the game at high concentration and motivation as it did have a positive impact into how side performed. This performance without doubt provided a positive expectation and view prior to game against Molde at Champions League play-off round as such positive view and approach could be key in this 2 leg games. Galatasaray also provided lots of criticism towards performance of the referee who did make some questionable decisions for 90 minutes.

Galatasaray hence did provide view that it is being on good form at home ground games and are expected to carry on like during whole season.

Trabzonspor is not being on same level as Galatasaray right now

Even through it is too early to state if Trabzonspor would be able to fight for title during this season, this game did provide that right now there is big quality difference between two sides.

It needs to be mentioned that Trabzonspor did come out to the game at the right attitude and did aim to get some chances, but Galatasaray being ready to the game as it did play extra 4 games due of Champions League qualifiers did play its important role and also it did look like players didnt found way how to overpass opposition supporters who managed to provide enough pressure. As been mentioned, Trabzonspor players did come out to get win and did provide occassionally but it did lack last touches and creativity in the attack which did prevent them to get lots of chances as game progressed. Therefore, Trabzonspor does need to improve in some areas and would need to provide much more agressive and creative game at front.

Hence, this performance does show that they are willingness at team but side would need to improve if it aims to fight for title this season.

Galatasaray once again showed his importance against Trabzonspor

Galatasaray wins against one of its main archrivals in this league Trabzonspor at home ground with 2:0 as both goals did come from club superstar Mauro Icardi as home side has dominated for most amount of the game.

It needs to be mentioned that for most amount of game Galatasaray has shown strong and confident performance hence showing that with strong supporters at the ground, it would be very difficult to beat this side. It also needs to be mentioned that compare to previous games, Galatasaray did come out too much closer attacking players among them playing much more confident performance as they have been much ready. Also it needs to be mentioned that Galatasaray did provide a good defensive game as it didnt provide much attacks to Trabzonspor even through they did create some chances and did come out for a win as could be seen from its perforance and stance. It also needs to be mentioned that midfielders has also played an important role as they seem to be understanding between attackers and defenders.

As been noted on previous paragraph, Trabzonspor didnt actually too bad and looked much better team compare to previous season as it did come out for a win but squad quality did play its role. Its need to be mentioned that Trabzonspor did play for a win with attitude it showed and did create some good chances including from confusion which Galatasaray had at defence towards end of 1st hald but due of unpreparedness ut had. Trabzonspor is being side which is building up and it does show signs that it could become even better side as weeks of the season would be continued. Still, among quality factor, Trabzonspor did lack some good organisation both to prevent Galatasaray and also create high number of the chances which needs to be worked on upcoming training session.

Galatasaray hence without doubt has provided full focus towards game which could be seen from how it has performed and also with thanks to supporters it has most amount of time has dominated and has got very important win while Trabzonspor didnt look too bad but still needs to improve.

Besiktas might see more resistant Pendikspor as expected.

Following win against Neftci Baku at Conference League 3rd qualifying round, Besiktas are going to return to Super League with 2nd week game against newcomers Pendikspor who has lost to 5:1 to Hatayspor.

Taking account that Besiktas has won 1st league game against Fatih Karagumruk and Pendikspor poor performance on opening week, it could be noted comfortably that Besiktas would be coming out as strong favourites. However, sometimes opening week could be misleading and even through in any circumstances Besiktas would be seen as strong favourites for game itself, it might be wrong to think straight away that Besiktas will get an easy win especially taking account that it did struggle in opening week and to some extend Neftci Baku to legs didnt go as calm as planned even through it did get through comfortable scoreline. Pendikspor could see this game as bouncing point in sense of performance therefore.

Hence, Besiktas would be coming out as favourites but it might not simple as it looks on 1st glance as Pendikspor could aim to show more confident performance.

Al Ahli signs Merih Demiral for 4-years.

Turkish player Merih Demiral has joined Turkish football of joining Saudi Arabic club as he has joined Al Ahli to probably very high salary as he signed contract for 4 years.

As it is known, Saudi Arabic clubs has been among most discussed football countries sort to speak during this summer as its league signs for astronimic values number of superstars and despite of cultural and religion proximity there were not any names moves there until now as Atalanta defender Merih Demiral has signed 4-year contract with Al Ahli. Taking account that many players which join Saudi Arabia are being mainly close to retirement, it still could be questioned if this has been dropping of level of Merih Demiral but he would be in league which for controversial reasons would be among most followed leagues in upcoming season.

With Merih Demiral joining Saudi Arabic league, it is also reported that some of the Arabic are showing interest towards Inter Milan player Hakan Calhanoglu.

Besiktas gets through Neftci Baku with good performance on 2nd half.

Besiktas has managed to reach to the Conference League where it going to meet with Dynamo Kyiv which tends to long term rival for Turkish clubs and from which it did get some mixed results in recent years.

It needs ot be mentioned that Neftci Baku did provide some worries to Besiktas side at home ground as it did get ahead with 1:0 scoreline thanks to Mahmudov and hence did reduce aggregate to one goal which led also side to provide some more attacking game however introduction of Vincent Aboubakar to the field has been turning point for them as side started showing much more attacking game and did found 2 goals thanks to Aboubakar himself and Muleka which led for Neftci Baku to lose concentration and confidence as game has been developed.

With this outcome as been mentioned Besiktas gets to play-off round with 5:2 aggregate scoreline and now would play with Dynamo Kyiv.

Fenerbahce gets an easy win at controversial game.

Fenerbahce continued showing a confident performance against Maribor during 2nd leg as it got 3:0 win in Slovenia and hence has won full tie with 6:1 aggregate scoreline and now would meet with Dutch side Twente.

It needs to be mentioned that rather relying on advantage scoreline Fenerbahce did look for a goal from start of the game and hence did find one with Irfan Can Kahveci who in total did show strong and confident performance. It needs to be mentioned that at the game where 2nd half everything has been clear, there was some unnecessarily behaviour from Maribor ultras which did raise tension with Fenerbahce due of getting of Turkish side banner which did raise some heated arguments and let Fenerbahce supporters to leave stadium. Fenerbahce has made statement that it would go through events which happened in that moment as this are certainly are not acceptable at all. Fenerbahce after game has been resumed showed more attacking game and did find 2 more goals as this incident seemed to motivate players.

Fenerbahce did get thorugh without much issue but it would be having tough game against Twente at play-off round.

Adana Demirspor did have small scare from Osijek

Adana Demirspor did come out with most advantegous scoreline against Osijek during 2nd leg and this did provide some relaxation as it did have short term scare when game became 3:1 as it won 1st leg with 5:1 scoreline.

It needs to be mentioned that Osijek did give everything to the game compare to 1st leg and did find lots of goals as it did aim for getting historical turnaround while Adana Demirspor seemed to be much more relaxed. Still, after game turned into 3:1 Adana Demirspor did show good reaction and start controlling game more and Sari goal on 80th minute did put last word of the game. Adana Demirspor without doubt did mark an important win at its own history but it would need to get lessons with this result as it would need to improve at away games especially opponent like Genk.

Adana Demirspor are writing history but there are as been mentioned an areas where it would need to improve on in upcoming weeks.

Besiktas get to play-off round where it would play against Dynamo Kyiv

Besiktas has reached to Conference League play-off round after beating Neftci Baku with 2:1 scoreline during 2nd leg game as it got through with aggregate scoreline with 5:2 and even through it wasnt necessarily too easy task, quality factor and Aboubakar did play an important role.

It needs to be mentioned that goal which did come from Emin Mahmudov did provide some hope for Neftci Baku as it was expected that Azeri side would aim to fight for the chance to get 2-goal difference and did create some good performance while Besiktas possibly relaxation did provide some nervous moments. However, with introduction of Vincent Aboubakar during 2nd half did help Besiktas to provide much more attackingg ame as he did score in upcoming minutes showing himself to be once again leading player at the attacking game as his creativity did provide such great goal. After that, Besiktas did get much more control of the game as it controlled game and created some chances and with goal from Muleka it did get much anticipated win and at the end confident aggregate scoreline.

Neftci Baku desoite of difficult situation of coming to Istanbul with 3:1 scoreline it did come out wit strong belief of getting historical win and goal which it did score during 1st half has provided some hopes as it did create some good chances after Mahmudov goal but Aboubakar goal in 2nd half has affected negatively to side and its self belief.

Hence, Besiktas is being amount clubs which clubs which gets to next stage as it provide right mentality to game especially during 2nd half and would now look forward to Dynamo Kyiv games.

Fenerbahce reaches to play-off round without much scare.

Fenerbahce has got a confident win against Maribor during 2nd leg game of Conference League with winning game 3:0 scoreline and going to play-off round with 6:1 aggregate scoreline and it would meet with Twente.

Sadly, game would be remembered with events which did take place outside of the field as game has been stopped for around 15 minutes due of fan behaviour between Fenerbahce and Maribor which needs to be mentioned has been entirely needless development as game has been going in calm manner and in control of Fenerbahce while Maribor also showed some in control performance. Coming to the game, it needs to be mentioned that Fenerbahce did control tempo of the game as it wanted as without doubt 17th minute from Irfan Can Kahveci did make things easier for them. After that moment game has been continued at low tempo and in control of Fenerbahce with rest of the 2 goals did come after long term interruption due of behaviour of fans.

Maribor meanwhile needs to be mentioned didnt come with high hopes and without doubt Irfan Can Kahveci goal on 17th minute did have also direct impact into how game developed and it has been good experience for Maribor at the field.

Fenerbahce did get to play-off round without much issues and would come out to tough game against Dutch side Twente during play-off round.

Adana Demirspor had small scare against Osijek

Despite of losing to Osijek at away game with 3:2 scoreline, Adana Demirspor gets through to play-off round thanks to impressive 5:1 scoreline during 2nd leg and this game does show that if it would like to be successful in Europe it needs to improve away performance.

Adana Demirspor without doubt did come to the game knowing that if it doesnt provide too much mistakes, it would be reaching to play-off round and such calmness did affect game as Osijek did make it clear that it would be fighting for next stage and did find some important goals at the point as game turned 3:1, there was worry that Osijek might carry on but Adana Demirspor did come to themselves and has started showing much more controlled game and in fact did make scoreline 3:2 which did stop Osijek belief for historical comeback.

Osijek needs to be praised for its character and giving them all but as task has been difficult it didnt have enough strength as Adana Demirspor did use its advantage from 1st leg to get to next stage.

Adana Demirspor would be having tough time as it would be playing against Genk who does come from Europa League after being relegated by Olympiakos as it could be tough game for them.

Galatasaray reaches to Champions League group stage.

Galatasaray road to Champions League group stage is going pretty smoothly as it has reached to play-off round after beating Olimpija Ljubjana with 4:0 aggregate scoreline as Mauro Icardi on yesterday game has added another tally to final result.

It needs to be stated that 1s leg result of 3:0 had an impact to performance of both sides which led Galatasaray to get win without much issues as due of quality and demotivation of Olimpija Ljubjana it didnt respond much. It has been also important for Mauro Icardi to find his goal of the season after signing proper contract and team did show pretty determined performance despite of having some areas to improve on. Only negative aspect of the game has been red card of Lucas Torreira as he is being one of the main key players in the side so far during this season and his absence would be felt during game against Molde.

Hence, Galatasaray did reach to play-off round of Champions League and would be seen as favourite against Molde.

Fenerbahce needs to pay attention to defence in start of the game.

Fenerbahce would be coming out Maribor 2nd leg with an advantage of 3:1 scoreline and only area which it could be having is that it playing an away game, as an overall it would be coming as confident favourite for play-off round.

It needs to be admitted that Fenerbahce did have good start of the season as it did win all the games and players showing signs of slowly being adapted to new system and team and hence it would be accepted to show positive game performance against Maribor. An important issue here should be given to show good organised defensive game in the start of the game if it doesnt want to get into trouble but playing like it did so far, especially at Europe, would be key to get result which it seeks for.

Fenerbahce are not expected to have much issues against Maribor but would need to pay some attention in start might look for an early goal.

Besiktas are coming out as favourites against Neftci Baku

Even through Besiktas would also come to Neftci Baku game with 3:1 advantage from 1st leg, it does have an advantage to play its game at home ground.

It needs to be mentioned that Neftci Baku didnt provide resistance which was excepted from them during 1st leg which did lead for Besiktas to get 2 early goals and hence result which it seeks for. Stating that,it still could be noted that Besiktas does lack tempo as so far it didnt manage to provide highly tempo game for 90 minutes at any game and Neftci key could be use this moments to its advantage but again it could have trouble to do so at Besiktas stadium. Besiktas would need to stay calm and organised among providing creative performance at front.

Besiktas will be coming favourites and providing organising game could be enough to get result which it seeks for.

Galatasaray gets through Champions League play-off round after beating Olimpija Ljubjana with 4:0 aggregate scoreline.

Galatasaray has reached to Champions League play-off round after it has beaten Olimpija Ljubjana at home ground with 1:0 scoreline thanks to Mauro Icardi goal and has went through this round with an aggregate scoreline of 4:0.

Despite of getting confident win against Olimpija Ljubjana during 1st leg game, due of Turkey needing to raise its coefficient points Galatasaray without doubt did come out for win and even through it did get with minumum scoreline it still got an important points. It needs to be mentioned that with Galatasaray getting advantegous scoreline, playing at home and also motivation of affecting coefficient point did provide much more motivation and confidence to Galatasaray and this has affected to how side performed without doubt. Hence, without providing too much effort it did get what it seeked for and didnt let Olimpija Ljubjana to get any chances to get formality result and didnt provide much chances. Without doubt, side also got an important motivation and confidence prior to league game against Trabzonspor.

Result of the 1st leg without doubt has a direct impact into how Olimpija Ljubjana would perform and has been demotivated and also had difficulties at playing at one of the most difficult games and all this factors did lead for Olimpija Ljubjana not providing enough pressure not only to turn around this tie, but also get at least win.

With this result Galatasaray would be meeting with Molde who did get through surprising side of this tournament Klaksvik after an extra time at play-off round.

Besiktas has started league with win despite of poor performance.

Besiktas has got an important goal at 88th minute thanks to the great organisation and short from Gedson Fernandes which led side to start new season with a win but it needs to be mentioned that Besiktas did provide pretty ineffective and slow tempo performance against Fatih Karagumruk.

Besiktas it needs to be mentioned has failed to raise tempo for 90 minutes of the game but it is being especially case during 1st half where it hardly got into dangerous attacks yet to find some clear chances to get ahead of the game. There was an important opportunity for Besiktas to get ahead of the game during start of the game but Vincent Aboubakar missed his penalty in Turkey at surprising pretty bad shot as goalkeeper of Fatih Karagumruk did make pretty easy safe. Besiktas did raise tempo during end of the game as it did look for winning goal but it is still hard to state that it got full control of the game and did create dangerous chances with most dangerous been a goal as it been very good goal from Fernandes at right moment of the game.

Besiktas didnt necesarilly provide very good performance as it did look passive and this should be an area which Senol Gunes need to look at during training sessions.

Basel has loaned Galatasaray player Yusuf Demir

Basel has loaned Galatasaray player Yusuf Demir as player wasnt able to fulfill his potentiality at the team as he didnt recieve much of playing time during previous and this season.

Yusuf Demir has been transferred as one of the key players in the team and did have high potentiality but head coach Okan Buruk did hardly start with him during previous season as side did blame foreign player limit but since Demir did get right to play with blue card system, Buruk didnt use him. Hence, sending him as loan at team where he would be able to get some good playing time and where he is familiar is would be win-win situation for all parties involved.

Yusuf Demir didnt get much chance to show himself at Galatasaray and now would hence join team where he could get some more playing time.

Results:

UEFA Champions League, 3rd qualifying round, 2nd leg:

Molde 2:0 Klaksvik (agg: 3:2)(Molde will play against Galatasaray during Champions League play-off round)
