Besiktas has got an important win against Rizespor

Besiktas has managed to get an important win against Rizespor with confident scoreline of 4:1 thanks to great performance by Mustafa Pektemek and Ricardo Quaresma and cards which has been recieved by Rizespor.

Without doubt Besiktas needed to show high level performance during this game as it has played not very satisfyingly in last games which includes Europa League 3rd week game against Genk where it has recieved high amount of protest from their own supporters in the end of the day. It needs to be mentioned that main star of the game has been Mustafa Pektemek who has found two very classy goals with help from assists of Ricardo Quaresma who has become another star of the game with completing game with 3 assists, even through he didnt convert penalty kick. Another factor of the game has been 2 red cards which has been recieved by Rizespor which did make tasks easier for them as the game has been progressing as Besiktas has played with 10 to 11 players for most amount of game and also last 30 minutes with 9 to 11 players. Besiktas did get an important motivation but it is important for them to carry on similar performance in much difficult game which it would have this week against Basaksehirspor.

Besiktas, with also help from Rizespor, Pektemek and Quaresma has got calm and confident win but to get into high performance it still needs to raise its level of performance for certain.

Trabzonspor will start its Turkish Cup campaign against Bugsasspor

Trabzonspor are going to start their Turkish Cup campaign as it would be meeting against 2nd league side Bugsasspor on 4th round of the game where it is expected to get a confident win and not have much issues.

Trabzonspor did provide pretty dissapointing results in recent years both at the Super League and Turkish Cup and this time it would be once aiming to have much better performance as it would be coming out against Bugsasspor, where it is expected to have comfortable win. It would been expected without doubt with taking account level of game and also importance of Super League that Trabzonspor would provide much more playing time to players which didnt recieve lots of playing time and youth players to prove themselves to head coach Unal Karaman. Bugsasspor would be aiming to provide its best football but being 2 levels below of Super League will not expected to make surprise even through as it is known Turkish Cup is always open to surprises and it would be one-off game in this stage.

Trabzonspor would be expected not to have much issues at the game and will be focussed with youth players to prove themselves to technical staff.

12-year old has provided serious injury to Kasimpasa player Koita. 

Turkish Cup 4th round game has been started with an events which took place between Batman
Petrolspor and Kasimpasa game where 12-year old kid has thrown water bottle full with water towards Kasimpasa player Koita who later has opened wound next to his eyes and has been taken into hospital.

The game has been postponed even through it was coming to closing minutes of 90 minutes and Kasimpasa was winning game with 3:2 scoreline. What is also specifically surprising that game has been played in pretty calm manner without much tension being present but 12-year old kid did spoil the whole game experience due of misunderstanding actions as time would likely make it clear why this action has been done. This action meanwhile does show that violence at football sadly also been affected to younger supporters who is likely those actions to be norm and hence has provided such unneeded chaos at the game. Right now, naturally focus would be provided to TFF to wait what kind of decision would be given with taking account that only few minutes has been left until end of the game.

The game for now has been abandoned but taking account that game has been over it could end as win to Kasimpasa even through Batman Petrolspor did have opportunity to draw game still.

Besiktas has got a comfortable win against Rizespor as it has played with more men for most part of the game. 

Besiktas has managed to win Rizespor with 4:1 scoreline during Super League 10th week even through for most amount of game Besiktas has played with 10 men and with interesting 2nd yellow card of Saadane 30 minutes of game has been 11-to-9, but still Besiktas has shown good positive game.

Without doubt one of the key players at the Besiktas has been Mustafa Pektemek who has scored first 2 goals during game with showing good skills at goal, which was specifically impressive and good news for him and team as he didnt start at starting 11 at the team for very long time. Long time Besiktas supporters and overall Turkish football followers would remember Mustafa Pektemek as pretty good player but due of injuries and also loss of level of performance has been forgotten both at Besiktas and Turkish National Team. It needs to be admitted that prior to 1st red card of Rizespor, Besiktas did provide good game during 10 minutes but Rizespor losing player due of red card without doubt has provided an easier task for rest of the game for them and led them to create high amount of the chances. In whatever circumstances, Besiktas did win this game it was important for them to get such a confident win due of poor performance in recent period and recieving high amount of protests from supporters during Genk game at Europa League. Besiktas would be playing an important game against Basaksehirspor next week and hence it was important for them to get such a win.

With Rizespor struggling in general during game, it was specifically unlucky for them to get red card as soon as on 10th minute which led Okan Buruk to reduce any chances to go through game which he has planned as team without doubt has been aiming at least for draw in such crucial game. Still it did show some positive signs even when was 1 men behind and could raise at table with Okan Buruk.

Fenerbahce has sacked Phillip Cocu as time has come for him to say goodbye. 

Following 3:1 loss to Ankaragucu during Super League 10th week with playing very poor game, Fenerbahce administration has decided to sack its head coach Phillip Cocu with such performance during game and also during whole season.

As was remembered, Fenerbahce CEO Ali Koc did state that their would not sack Cocu until mid-season, as long as there would not be urgent need to do so and taking account that team is failing to win during last 5 games and still finds itself just 1 place above relegation zone has turned Koc to make this decision. Interestingly his sacking has been just 1 day before his birthday but with performance which was shown by Fenerbahce so far has led for such an action to be done immediately. Stating that it would not be fair enough to state that Fenerbahce only issue has been head coach situation and still club needs to solve many issues. But it was visible that even through main fault wasnt with Cocu, he wasnt one who would find such solution and would quite possibly make things worser with him staying at club. This blog was among sides which he believed that Cocu would need be given time but he had enough time as team has been risking of carrying on its season at the bottom half and not getting wins which would be unacceptable for team like them.

Now their is question who would take place of Cocu as team would be meeting with Galatasaray and in what condition psychologically team will be prepared for such crucial game.

Galatasaray players are not giving fighting spirit at their games. 

Galatasaray even through has been at top half of the table, currently standing at 3rd place and being 2 point behind league leaders Basaksehirspor, their also didnt manage to win last 2 games and seems to be way behind expected performance.

Galatasaray has lost to Yeni Malatyaspor with 2:0 scoreline at game where their did have chance to get full control of the game even if their did create some chances. It is expected that some injured players would be recovered for Super League derby game against Fenerbahce for 2nd November and knowing difficult situation which their opponents will be, it would be stressful game for both sides. Galatasaray situation is not also great and it does look like Fatih Terim who tries to solve those issues has some difficulties to find solution which is beyond his hand.

Fenerbahce carries on providing worst performance in its history. 

Fenerbahce has once again provided very dissapointing and poor performance during Super League 10th week game against Ankaragucu and didnt manage to win for 5 games right now with side still showing poor game with lack of showing dominance at home ground.

In fact, Fenerbahce has been expected to provide good performance after it has drawn against Anderlecht at Europa League 3rd week game with 2:2 scoreline by using to 2:0 scoreline in sense of confidence and also get even more confidence for next week derby game against Galatasaray. Even through for 1st half it has shown controllable game and being willing to create chances its still showed lack at converting them with their attacks and has continued showing some stressful performance with last touches. This performance in overall does show that team internally in technical aspects is going backwards by each game, as it carries on conceding goals not in level which would be expected from them. Meanwhile, Fenerbahce player Islam Slimani sadly has mainly showing his energy into criticising decisions and complaining generally, which did cost him red card, rather than focus his energy into creating chances. Even through this blog has been stating that Phillip Cocu should be given time at the team, it does come to the point, as we getting to 1/3 of the season, would find itself into relegation zone.

Ankaragucu meanwhile has got its 1st win at Fenerbahce stadium since 2009, and has shown great performance with their performance has been team which wanted to win more and has provided very organised game not letting Fenerbahce to get into game especially in 2nd half.Ankaragucu with this result raises to 5th place meanwhile.

Fenerbahce carries on providing performance of their worst performance as team has only gained 9 points with 30 possibilities so far and despite of some signs during Anderlecht team doesnt show any improvements and optimistic signs for Galatasaray and other games coming up this season.

Galatasaray has lost to Yeni Malatyaspor as side being affected from injuries.

Galatasaray has continued providing poor performance during away game against Yeni Malatyaspor during Super League 10th week game and carries on showing dissapointing performances at away games among losing 4 points in last 2 weeks.

It was expected that Galatasaray could have some trouble during Yeni Malatyaspor as it was missing number of main players at its squad such as Feghouli, Nagatomo, Eren Derdiyok and also other key players. In fact, during 1st half another starting 11 player Youness Belhanda has recieved an injury and even through it is unclear how serious is his injury, he couldnt complete game which has affected certainly to the outcome. This game meanwhile, among Bursaspor and Schalke 04, that Galatasaray does have trouble with alternative squad and regardless how much Fatih Terim prepares for the games, this is maximum performance side can provide with such squad. With taking account those perspectives and also side has serious issues during away games which has been continued from last season, Istanbul side has lost an important game and has lost leadership to Basaksehirspor at the end of this week. Draw between Antalyaspor and Trabzonspor is not bad news for both sides, but win could been better. 

Crucial game between Trabzonspor and Antalyaspor, which was an important game for both sides to climb into top spots at the league, has been ended with 1:1 draw where both sides has played mainly careful game which ended it being not with fast tempo.

Even through both sides wanted to win game which could be seen from number of the chances which Trabzonspor and Antalyaspor has been created during game, the factor that loss would also affect negatively has provided strong affect into defence. Trabzonspor it needs to be stated did improve with its performance during last week against Erzurumspor but still was pretty far away from some games where it has shown good performance during this season and did lack its chances. Trabzonspor has got point from Antalyaspor at game crucious for high spots.

Trabzonspor has ended Super League 10th week with 1:1 draw against Antalyaspor as this game was important fixture for both sides to fighting for top positions at the league and this factor has affected to the outcome of the game.

Trabzonspor did provide some careful performance during game and did start game not in perfect manner as it has allowed Antalyaspor to control game for most part of the game and have found goal from penalty kick from Burak Yilmaz. Saying that, it needs to be admitted that Trabzonspor did provide good defensive game and didnt allow for Antalyaspor to get much chances despite the factor that it did show some active game on the day with creating some chances. It could be admitted that Trabzonspor could have created much more chances as game progressed but it was aware of importance of the game and hence aimed not to allow Antalyaspor to get into much chances. Still, Trabzonspor even through did show some improvement from last week it still didnt provide performance which was seen in other games during this season and with help of penalty to some extend did get penalty which helped to get points. Still, Trabzonspor needs to improve with its performance for upcoming games.Trabzonspor did get important point but needs to improve for upcoming games.

Antalyaspor did show some good offensive game believing that it got get win as their pretty confident mood due of being at up-side of table right now and showed this confidence with its performance during game.

Trabzonspor didnt show great performance today but has managed to stay focussed and has gained win at the game which it was close to lose it.

Galatasaray would need to give extra effort against Yeni Malatyaspor as it has not perfect squad. 

Galatasaray would be playing against Yeni Malatyaspor during Super League 10th week game as side would be aiming to regain its top spot which it has lost from Basaksehirspor during this week and improve performance which it shown against Bursaspor and Schalke 04.

Galatasaray does have some important issues as it has lost number of players due of injuries during last few weeks and this factor would once again affect to the game against Yeni Malatyaspor which does come with good hope and motivation for the game on the night. Galatasaray would be aiming to solve their issues from past week and regain important motivation and confidence both for upcoming Fenerbahce game and also regain confidence at the table as it would aim to regain its leadership despite of recent poor performance in last games. Yeni Malatyaspor does also come out with good motivation from past results and has strong belief that it can even fight for a point so it wont be an easy game for them for sure. Therefore without having many key players at the field on the day it would need to provide extra fighting spirit for the game and provide all pressure against Yeni Malatyaspor.

Therefore, it wont be an easy game for Galatasaray even if their are coming as strong favourites and would need to be careful on the day.

Fenerbahce would be coming out against Ankaragucu with stronger confidence following Anderlecht game. 

Fenerbahce would be coming out to the Ankaragucu game which also finds at the bottom half of the stadium would be coming out with good mood as it has comeback during Anderlecht as it was losing with 2:0 scoreline.

Even through Fenerbahce didnt win against Anderlecht, finding 2 goals has provided confidence to the them and their would be aiming to carry on this high mood with a win against Ankaragucu in upcoming week and aim to also dominate game. Therefore, it would not be an easy game for Ankaragucu as their would not be willing to them against them in this week as it is coming very confidently. Without question good performance of Michael Frey would raise question if he would carry on this good performance on the day also. Ankaragucu still would have some confidence and belief to provide shocking result due of general poor performance of Fenerbahce and would play their best performance so it wont be an easy game for Fenerbahce either but compare to previous weeks their would be coming much stronger favourite compare to previous game and will aim to find some more goals on the day.

Besiktas recent performance does show worrying image.

Besiktas has provided one of the worst performance in last 3 years as it has lost to Belgian side Genk without showing any fighting spirit and obviously losing its speed which it had in previous seasons.

Among of providing pretty poor performance against Genk during game which it has lost with 4:2 scoreline and despite of finding goals with help of Vagner Love, Besiktas also didnt provide much reaction football and does show that their are some either internal issues at the club or players are not being trained in great manner. Players does seem to have lack of providing fast game and this poor performance has led for 1st time strong criticism and protest from Besiktas supporters who tend to be pushing force of the team. Even through supporters can be criticised for providing such as negative reaction towards game, it needs to be admitted that players did deserve such reaction from supporters. Genk which is 4 years young when looking at average age of the side, has provided much more better game compare to their opponents and has got well deserved performance while Besiktas urgently needs to figure out what went wrong and find solutions to those problems.

Besiktas performance is going down by each game and it needs to find ways to stop this poor performance until its not too late and it can solve issues.

Fenerbahce has gained confidence from Anderlecht game.

Even through Fenerbahce didnt manage to provide top level performance against Anderlecht during Europa League 3rd week game, it needs to be stated that this game would provide motivational boost for the side in upcoming weeks.

With Fenerbahce losing game with 2:0 scoreline at the start of the game, did show an image that this game will not be much different from other games which side has shown this season however great performance especially between 53rd and 57th minute of team, especially  of Michael Frey and Hasan Ali Kaldirim, has helped side to draw game to 2:2 and in fact did have some chance to win game if it didnt provide too much defensive football. The result of the game, which does put them now to 2nd place even through keeps their chances alive for knockout stage pretty strong wouldnt not be stated satisfactorily but adding of poor result and also lack of finding goals, this result could push team forward and improve for upcoming games both in Europa and domestically as it has gained confidence especially to Frey with goal and assist against Anderlecht.

What would be important from now for Fenerbahce to carry on this momentum gained and add to it with results and performance if it wants to turn around so far its disastrous season.

Sevilla game was good experience for Akhisarspor. 

It was expected that Akhisarspor quite reasonably would have very difficult game against Sevilla at Europa League and it turned just like that as Spanish side has dominated game and has found 6 goals with whole control of the game.

This game without doubt has been seen as chance to prove themselves to maximum against Sevilla and get an important experience at this level of competition. Even through it didnt get even chance to prove themselves at the field, it did get an important experience. It needs to be remembered of strength of Akhisarspor and also having poor season and hence it should be criticised in that sense. Therefore, it is hard to get too much into this game due of differences between side both in experience and squad quality. Akhisarspor so far has gained 0 points and has almost lost chance to get to next stage but as always from other clubs who are not in top 4 in country, Europa League is great chance to get important experience at Europe.

Besiktas has provided poor performance during Europa League Group I 3rd week game against Genk as it has lost to their opponents with 4:2 scoreline at the home ground and has provided one of the worst performances at the home ground for long time.

It needs to be admitted that during game Besiktas has failed to provide any upper hand during game allowing Genk to control game as their wished to and as time passed Belgian side has become much more confident for game. With coming out only with 1 win so far and having high aims for knockout stage, Besiktas didnt provide performance which Turkish and European fans has been seeing from team during memorable past season. Due of this factor, Besiktas supporters which tend to be behind the team in all circumstances has shown strong protest towards side which needs to be stated has been unusual for this behaviour. In fact, Besiktas has found goal when goal was 2:0 with Vagner Love could be seen as good opportunity for comeback for the side but with Genk finding two other goals following game has led them to find goals and get confident win towards last minute of the game. Fenerbahce did manage to show comeback during Europa League 3rd week game at Group D against as it was losing 2:0 to Anderlecht as it has drawn with 2:2 scoreline but it still has provided pretty poor performance as today's performance would certainly would made both technical stuff and fans unhappy.

Fenerbahce has provided pretty poor performance during today's game apart between of 53rd and 57th minute when it has found 2 goals back to back but still didnt get good fast tempo especially at 1st half. It was visible from today game that on-going issue has been carried  on at the team such as not being able to create stating that Anderlecht didnt provide very good high level performance and Fenerbahce could get a win if it could raise tempo of the game. Fenerbahce head coach Phillip Cocu and supporters would make happy that Fenerbahce did show some good comeback performance during 2nd half and finding 2 goals but even after that Fenerbahce didnt show much attempt to get scoreline into winning the  game with most likely for Cocu to look for a win. Fenerbahce could be still standing at 2nd place and does have some advantage to get out from group stage to knockout stage but it did lose an opportunity to get a win and fight for top position as Dinamo Zagreb playing with 100% record and currently having 5 points difference with 3 games left at the league. It needs to be noted that Frey did show some good performance as game progressed and scored and provided assist which very likely would attend his motivation for upcoming games.

Anderlecht despite of winning game for 2:0 would certainly be dissapointed with result and did provide good game, however with looking how Anderlecht has performed at quality sense Fenerbahce could have won game if it shown much better performance.

Fenerbahce would be happy to show comeback from 2:0 and find 2 goals and keep its chances to get to the knockout stage but Fenerbahce could have won this game so in performance wise it still need to improve a lot to improve performance both domestically and Europe.

Akhisarspor has lost to Sevilla with 6:0 scoreline.

Europa League Group J favourites has provided dominant game against Akhisarspor as it has managed to win game with 6:0 scoreline in Spain and has shown entire dominance of the game meanwhile struggling Akhisarspor in overall couldnt respond to this level of game.

Akhisarspor has been stated beforehand during games of Krasnodar and Standard Liege that even through their didnt win those games, their had shown some positive football and has created some chances during of the game. Galatasaray has been lucky to end game with draw against Schalke 04.

Galatasaray didnt manage to provide top level performance against Schalke 04 during Champions League Group D 3rd week as it has ended with goalless draw even through with how game was played, Galatasaray been a lucky one.

Galatasaray didnt provide great game which was expected from them with lack of creating good chances and had trouble at creating chances which was due of high number of injuries which it has experienced from previous games. It could be stated that this point is very important for a team as it still 1 point behind of 2nd placed Schalke 04 and has lost an opportunity to get there and now makes 4th week game in Schalke even more crucial. It needs to be stated that Galatasaray has failed to control game as it wanted and it was their opponents who controlled and get into chances, and to luck of Istanbul side as Schalke 04 had an issue with last touches which led for them to not getting winning goal. Galatasaray didnt look like a team which was playing at home and couldnt get its opportunity to get control of the game. Galatasaray needs to study what it made wrong during this game and even through it was lucky to get draw, at point it didnt use home game advantage.

Schalke 04 in all fairness provided much better team and didnt provide game which would been expected from them and has provided good attacking game being one to look for goal but did look that had trouble with providing last touch.

Genk game is good opportunity to raise motivation after recent poor results for Besiktas.

Besiktas is going to resume Europa League campaign against Genk during Group J 3rd week game with an aim to show good performance and get an important win at the group where all teams have same amount of the points.

Trabzonspor has provided poor performance against Erzurumspor

Trabzonspor are continues to show unstable performance at the Super League as this time it didnt manage to get a win against troubled Erzurumspor as game ended with goalless draw as an opponent has shown much more attacking game.

Trabzonspor did come out to the game aiming to get 1st time during this season 3 wins back-to-back and to all respect of their opponent, Erzurumspor, their had chances to get this win if their played in same manner as their did. But it was observed so far during this season that team did perform pretty poorly after national team break and couldnt get into needed level of performance. Trabzonspor in fact has continued poor performance of big 4 teams which has been shown during this week. Meanwhile, even through we do see that Erzurumspor as side in normal days cant compete against Trabzonspor, on the game their have shown great performance with providing very good fighting spirit and with bit more level of performance could even get a win on the day.

Trabzonspor underperformed despite of getting number of the chances with Hugo Rodallega but even he wasnt in the level which we saw in previous games this season and Trabzonspor has lost an opportunity to be 3 points behind league leaders Galatasaray.

Galatasaray would play against struggling Schalke 04 with missing 5 players due of injury.

Galatasaray would be returning to Champions League as it would be playing against Schalke 04 at Group D 3rd week game, as German side are struggling to provide good performance at Bundesliga and lack finding goals.

On other hand, Galatasaray does have high number of the injured players which been existed prior to Bursaspor game and has been raised even more after that dramatic 1st half which led for 3 substitutes. There are still good news which is that Ryan Donk and Serdar Aziz are have been recovered from their injuries and could be at starting 11 at the game. Trabzonspor has provided poor performance against Erzurumspor. 

Trabzonspor had provided pretty dissapointing game against Erzurumspor during Super League 9th week game and has lost its opportunity to make point difference with league leaders Galatasaray with 2 points.

Trabzonspor had shown slower performance which was shown in previous 2 games and has failed to get into high number of positions and didnt been able to raise tempo. It could be seen due of national team break as Fenerbahce did provide pretty poor performances after those periods which has led for the side to lose its level performance which could be due of players not coming at very good level. Even through Hugo Rodallega did create some chances and has been active at the attacks including hitting to post but still has activity wasnt shown in great manner which could be seen with his actions. Taking account that Erzurumspor has also provided great organised game and did come out for draw but seeing Trabzonspor not at great form has provided good chances and could believe that it can get a win from today game. Trabzonspor to some extend is lucky for whole season to go with teams losing with against each other and still finds itself 4 points behind leaders but this unstable game is not enough to fight for league title.

Erzurumspor did show great performance today with having good organisation both in defence and has got into good attacking moments and couldnt find goals due of lack of quality at the players but it does provide exciting performance in upcoming games.

Trabzonspor continues to show good performance followed by poor peformance as it shows sometimes high level performance and today has been showing poor performance. Trabzonspor needs to find solution to show high level performance in regular periods.

Besiktas has lost to Goztepe due of losing concentration after missing penalty.

Besiktas continues with providing pretty poor performance at away games this season, losing this time to Goztepe with 2:0 scoreline without being able to provide high level performance during game.

With all of the title contenders not starting season at perfect manner, it needs to be noted that Besiktas is also showing pretty poor performance and is very far from their used performance which we have seen from club during last seasons. Besiktas did come out with a focus to win game as it has provided pretty good performance at the start of the game and has been aiming to win its 2nd away game during this season as it has lost games both in league and Europa League after Erzurumspor 3:2 scoreline. In fact, it has got good opportunity of Oguzhan Ozyakup to score penalty kick but with great save of Beto didnt manage to convert it. Interestingly, after not being converting penalty kick has affected mentally to Oguzhan Ozyakup and also whole team which has provided in other side motivation for Goztepe as it has got chances especially in 2nd half and has found 2 goals. With tactically Fenerbahce actually showing good game and creating high number of the chances its start getting clear unfortunately that this is maximum performance which Phillip Cocu can await from his players as their are 1 spot ahead of the relegation zone. Some drastic measures is needed but team is reluctant to use them both technically and administratively as poor results keep on coming and makes high number of the fans very unhappy for sure. This performance is shortly is unexpectable.

Fenerbahce needs to find ways how to improve and start its raise to top as it slowly moving to have worst season in the history of the league.
