Corum Belediyespor denies any racist comments towards Rodallega.
Trabzonspor has gained an important motivational boost prior to Super League 10th week game against Galatasaray, after winning Corum Belediyespor with 6:0 scoreline at the Turkish Cup however the game has been mainly dominated by Hugo Rodallega.
Hugo Rodallega has recieved red card with head butting to Corum Belediyespor player Yakup Kayis who he has stated has given some racist statements about him even through both club and player are denying this action. In fact, Kayis has stated that he would open criminal case regarding of defamation from Hugo Rodallega. During today's press conference by Trabzonspor head coach Riza Calimbay, he has stated that he doesnt believe that there was any racist comments and would give punishment towards Rodallega if its not case. Therefore, there is belief by many that Rodallega has used this racist allegation with an excuse of red card even through it does raise question why would Rodallega do a such an action. Caner Erkin has recieved 6-game ban for his action towards referee.
Professional Football Disciplinary Committee has announced its decision regarding of Besiktas player Caner Erkin action towards referee Metin Kalkavan using foul language with total of 6-game ban.
One of the most awaiting decisions from Disciplinary Committee has been its announcement regarding of one of the most talked events as Caner Erkin after recieving yellow card during Basaksehirspor at Super League 10th week game has used foul language towards referee of game Metin Kalkavan. The decision has been come to 2 game for anti-sportmanship behavior and 4-games for insult he has given at the moment. Meanwhile, Turkish Football Federation administrator Husnu Bilger has stated that this decision has not been come from video analysis but did state that referees need to write better reports after game so it would be easier for them to make decisions for committee. This ban could be seen very harsh as it would be until almost end of 1st half of the season and also means Caner Erkin would be missing game against Galatasaray during Super League 14th week but to some it might not be seen as not enough.
Caner Erkin need to learn valuable lesson for this ban so are others, but Erkin has been known to give such reaction before hands and it is undoubetful that he would learn much from this action due of low control of his actions.
Youness Belhanda performance is way before team expectation
Galatasaray player Youness Belhanda has recieved high number of criticism for his poor performance at his club including during Fenerbahce game at Super League 9th week game.
In fact, Belhanda statistics goes against him as he has shown worst start compare to previous position 10 players as he is only player to score 1 goal since 1996 transfer of Gheorghe Hagi during 1st 10 games. Number of Galatasaray administrators according to report does feel that Belhanda doesnt satisfy their needs as he became highly paid transfer during summer transfer window at the team. It is even reported that team would be looking for alternative for him during mid-season transfer break as their believe his performance does team to get even stronger position even through their are leaders.
