Besiktas are now aiming for top position at the group stage.
Besiktas carries on its memorable performance at the Champions League this season as it has managed to win Monaco and hence became 1st Turkish team to make 3 out of 3 at the group stage and are one step closer for knockout stages.
It could be argued that Besiktas has played against one of the weakest Monaco compare to last years and even more further that there is no big giants at the group for Besiktas but to make 3 out of 3 at this tournament in unpredictable group is very big achievement. With help of other results at the group stage it does have 5 point advantage over Leipzig who has 4 points and now would even aim for top position at the group. Coming to the game it needs to be stated that Cenk Tosun has carried on great performances at the Champions League scoring 2 goals and playing most important role for this historical win. It can be stated that we are seeing two different Besiktas both at the domestic league and at Europe but it is visible that team is taking Champions League currently as priority and aim to achieve high achievements at the tournament this season.
Besiktas is currently 1 win away to get to the knockout stages for 100% and playing against struggling Monaco at the next game at home could mean it can achieve that and would make its place for top position for sure if it wins next game.
Basaksehirspor needs to play brave football to get its 1st win at Europa League group stage.
Basaksehirspor would come out to very important game at the Europa League against Hoffenheim during 3rd week game as it had shown pretty struggling performance at the tournament with only recieving 1 point.
Basaksehirspor are very likely would be playing against hardest team at the group who carry on showing great performance at the Bundesliga in recent years and needs to play its best football. In fact, Basaksehirspor has left its injured players Emre Belozoglu, Adebayor and Mossoro in Istanbul who for sure would been great additions to the team for such crucial game. Basaksehirspor did show some improvement at its performance in Super League and would be expected to transfer this to Europa League as it needs this win if it wants to get to the knockout stages as it is does perform below its expectation which was surround by Basaksehirspor and generally football fans. The players need to stay fully focussed and be confident to go forward during game to get win.
As stated, Hoffenheim does come out as favourites to the game but it doesnt mean that Basaksehirspor doesnt have chance to win game and it needs to play confident and brave football to get its 1st win at the tournament.
Konyaspor needs to build on at last week win at least with its style of play.
Even through Konyaspor is having struggling season so far, it did manage to get its 1st win at the Europa League last week and without doubt it would be aiming to achieve that at its home ground and carry on impressive Mustafa Resit Akcay performance at Europa League building from last season with Osmanlispor.
However, it needs to be stated that with performance of two teams and also style of play shown by Konyaspor, it needs to be sadly said that Salzburg are more favourites to win game but still it doesnt mean that Konyaspor would not have any chance but as always it needs to show more attacking football and try their best with also focussing into defence. It did get chance to knockout stages from last week win and certainly this needs to provide an extra motivation for game tomorrow as game did prove everyone both in country and Europe that it is capable to get good results at the Europe also. Konyaspor does have capacity to win game but its need to give its maximum to achieve that.
As always been stated with Konyaspor, it needs to give respect to opponents but dont overdo it as it leads them to defend too much and forget about attacking opponents goal.
