Fenerbahce head coach Dick Advocaat will start his work as Dutch National Team coach on 9th June.
Dutch Football Federation has oficially announced today that Dutch National Team head coach would be Fenerbahce coach Dick Advocaat starting from 9th June, in other words as soon as Super League season ends in Turkey.
There were talks a lot at the media that the contract could start on the date when season is incomplete and today there were several rumours that if Fenerbahce doesnt manage to qualify to Turkish Cup final after 2nd leg semi-final game against Basaksehirspor then he will not stay at the club and would join Dutch national team since 17th May. However, Dutch National Team with their announcement made everything clear. Coming to Dick Advocaat, it is known that he aims to end season at the high note possibly aiming to win all of the 4 games left at the season and also win Turkish Cup. During his reign at Fenerbahce he had up and downs this season but it were mainly downs as team could not get its potential best football at the team. Interestingly, as he stated that he would end his career he didnt decline an offer from Dutch National Team for such a role.
Dick Advocaat didnt have his best season at the team and had some troubles but their were some which could he has been solved. Stating that, at his reign he didnt lose any derby games which is big achievement indeed.
Crises between Galatasaray head coach Igor Tudor and players affect their performance.
Crises at the Galatasaray carries on as their big arguments taking place between head coach Igor Tudor and with number of Galatasaray players which certainly affects the performnace of the team and misunderstanding, especially taking account that almost every player could be selected at the starting 11.
Those players are namely Wesley Sneijder, Bruma, Nigel de Jong, Yasin Oztekin among others where both sides blaming each other for not providing its maximum performance. There is seems to be huge lack of respect between sides, and this is especially been shown by players when their should be one to listen coach. It is known that both sides complain to Galatasaray CEO Dursun Ozbek among the aspects of not recieving 2 day-offs from training sessions which were given to them by Igor Tudor prior to game. Galatasaray adminsitrative compare to previous their own attitudes has taken side of Igor Tudor and would certainly have some drastic measures taken against players who are seemed to be too confident. Wesley Sneijder has been known to play an important role with head coaches including choosing them, but it looks like this action by him will not be tolerated anymore.
Igor Tudor with the support of administrative now has an upper hand at this crises and players need to calm down or would be asked to leave team. But the issue here is that their want to leave anyway.
Barcelona considers to sell Arda Turan for 25 million euro in summer.
One of the most talked transfer rumours has come from Spain as their media has stated that Barcelona considers seriously to sell its player Arda Turan for 25 million euro and use this cash to buy some players in summer transfer window.
The news about if Arda Turan would be staying at Barcelona after summer or not has been one of the most discussed topics at Turkish and worldwide media with conflicting news coming around. It is known from media reports that most team which seems to have interest with Arda Turan are Arsenal and their do have potential to buy him for 25 million euro transfer fee but once stated all this are being rumours and we need to wait for summer to know how much it is true. It needs to be remembered that future of the Arsene Wenger at club is uncertain and hence it is unclear how much new coach would like to get Arda Turan as transfer.
