Basaksehirspor has lost two important points to Trabzonspor but will be at Champions League qualifiers at least next season.
Basaksehirspor dream to achieve a surprise league title for this season has been reduced incredibly as it has goalless draw with Trabzonspor and now is 4 points behind of the Besiktas with 2 weeks left at the league.
Despite of that, Basaksehirspor did achieve an incredible achievement by securing its 3rd qualifying round of the Champions League and taking account that it has hardly fans at the team this surely an achievement which needs to be praised. Coming to the game, it was observed that Basaksehirspor has been affected a lot following Turkish Cup semi-final 2nd leg game against Fenerbahce which has been played until penalties which led them to take 13 penalties. This tiredness surely has affected the start of the game as Trabzonspor has provided attacks back to back with Volkan Babacan keeping Istanbul side inside the game. Basaksehirspor has improved at the 2nd half and started playing much better with creating high number of the chances as the game has been developing. Edin Visca has taken upper hand of the game but couldnt find goal which it was seeking for to carry on pressure towards Besiktas.
Coming to the Trabzonspor, it wasnt able to end this season as it has started the year even through it still has 2 games including against Fenerbahce during next week. Even through it was hard for Trabzonspor to win game today, in overall it didnt win now for last 4 games and this could be explained by high performance which as the team it wasnt used to with performance of last year. The team still sets an aim to fight for league title next season, and right now it would need to study its squad and to realise how with current squad and with transfering new players with its budget it can create team to fight for league title.
Basaksehirspor still has chance to get league title if Besiktas would lose one game and draw another but this case is difficult as Besiktas going to play against Gaziantepspor who has been relegated and Osmanlispor who have not much aims for rest of the season. Despite of that Basaksehirspor should believe itself and provide top football for rest of two games and at the Turkish Cup final.

With 2 games left for Besiktas in this season and with having an advantage of 4 points for the league title, the team is getting closer and closer to the happy end of this season. The team has shown that it has full focus for this aim with winning comfortably against Kasimpasa with 4:1 scoreline during Super League 32nd week.
Even through when the scoreline has turned into 1:1 there were still signs that Besiktas is at the panicking mood despite of controlling game even through even during that time both Ricardo Quaresma and Vincent Aboubakar has shown very good performance and forward seeking game, especially with high number of very good crosses by Quaresma who has ended game with penaly goal and 2 assists. Besiktas it needs to be stated is currently totally focussed into the league title as expected and it has relatively easy games as it would play against Gaziantepspor who has been relegated yesterday and Osmanlispor who has not much aims for rest of the season. It needs to be noted that there is still chance for Basaksehirspor to get league title who would fight until the end but Besiktas needs to make big and unexpectable mistakes to lose this title.
Besiktas as stated has relatively straight forward task with playing not very difficult opponents. At short everything is at their hands and yesterday performance showed that their capable to end season at high note.
Fenerbahce needs to win Genclerbirligi if it aims to have normal summer.
With Fenerbahce fighting for 2nd place and Champions League spot few weeks ago it has now got into chance that it might end season at the 4th place as Galatasaray has managed to pass them on 19th May to 3rd. This means that Fenerbahce would start season earlier compare to all of the clubs at the Turkish Super League due of 2nd or 3rd qualifying round of Europa League.
However, if Fenerbahce manages to win all of the 3 games regardless how Galatasaray performs it would be able to end season at 3rd place which was set among aims for this last stage by head coach Dick Advocaat. In fact, there are reports that Fenerbahce CEO Aziz Yildirim has stated to Dick Advocaat, who wants to leave team before season is over than he can leave only when 3rd place is secure, which possibly be case if their win all games if Galatasaray carries on this performance. Fenerbahce would meet against Genclerbirligi which are among teams who doesnt have much aims and this factor does put Fenerbahce closer for the win but if it performs like it did last week against Antalyaspor than it would have big trouble as Genclerbirligi also provides fast and positive football.
So as been mentioned, Fenerbahce needs to stay focussed for last 3 games if it wants to end season at the 3rd place and have long summer as most clubs would in Turkey.
