Konyaspor has won against Kasimpasa with controlling game in much better way.

Konyaspor becomes first finalist of the Turkish Cup 2016-17 season following 2:0 win against Kasimpasa during 2nd leg semi-final game and has ended with aggregate of 4:3 scoreline. Konyaspor has provided much more better organised game compare to 1st leg game.

With taking advantage of playing at home and not having  a big disadvantage against Kasimpasa from 1st leg game , Konyaspor has provided a well organised game during 2nd leg game. Even through with Kasimpasa it did occassionaly make number of the mistakes with starting attacks it has kept them to the minumum compare to their opponents and good performance by Riad Bajic who carries on good season at his team with scoring 2 goals at the game, 1 from penalty, which allowed them to get to final of the Turkish Cup. Konyaspor has provided full attention to the game and has played as it should been played at home with controlling game and being careful at defence.
Kasimpasa wasnt able to provide a good performance compare to its recent games as it has struggle at getting upper hand of the game and occassionally not being able to control their nerves during the game making high number of fouls which has led to red card towards end of the game. Prior to conceding 1st goal, it has also created good chances which it could find goal and get control of the game but with weak last touches of its attackers it has failed to do so. Kasimpasa has now have an important game against Besiktas as the result could identify league title winners at the end of the season and it would be clear how this loss has been affected them against Besiktas on 20th May.

Konyaspor would now wait for its opponent after tomorrow 2nd semi-final 2nd leg game between Fenerbahce and Basaksehirspor with strong self-belief and believing that it can win Turkish Cup this season.

Besiktas is feeling under pressure as league enters to last 3 weeks.

Besiktas has won an important game against Bursaspor with 2:0 scoreline as it makes one step closer to the league title at the end of the season. With 3 weeks left at the season, it carries on 2 point advantage from its main opponents Basaksehirspor.

The game which was expected to be an easy one for Besiktas has ended being pretty tough one as Bursaspor who had very poor recent games has shown great reaction against their opponents with getting strong support from fans and also trying to move up from recent performance. Even through it has lost game with 2:0 scoreline, Bursaspor did show some positive view. Coming to Besiktas, it was observed that the team is currently at the panic mood which as team it has been through lots of times at the time when it matter. Even through before-hand it could be seen as understandable, taking account that team has got league title last season, it still show this characteristics which could make team tougher to win rest of the games. In fact and even through Basaksehirspor is also under pressure, even more since its behind leaders, it looks to be much more calmer even through that could be explained due of already having its best season ever. Coming to referee, he did close an eyes to the Ricardo Quaresma red card by hitting with leg into back of Bursaspor player and also protest for 1st yellow card, and was lucky to stay at the field until end of the game.

Besiktas would now play against Kasimpasa at the next week the team which has played Turkish Cup semi-final game today and doesnt have much aims for league title, but it did win last 3 league games so it would not be an easy one for Besiktas.

Fenerbahce and Basaksehirspor Turkish Cup semi-final expected to be exciting game.

Turkish Cup semi-final 2nd leg game between Fenerbahce and Basaksehirspor promises to be game with full excitement as Fenerbahce tries to get Turkish Cup and end season at the high while Basaksehirspor still sees chances to have double as high opportunity.

Even through it is still too early to call, and to all respect to Konyaspor, the winner of this tie is expected to win Turkish Cup at the end of the season and with 1st leg ending with 2:2 scoreline, apart of 2-away goal advantage for Fenerbahce, the game would be start as equal as both teams would likely to play an attacking football. From last game it was observed that Fenerbahce has closed Super League season and it was viewed that reasons of this could be Turkish Cup game. If that is case would become clear from performance of Fenerbahce. Certainly, Basaksehirspor would be aware of that and prepare in that matter. Stating that Basaksehirspor would certainly put league title as priority, especially as its plays a tough game against Trabzonspor on 21st May which could describe their chances for league title, and hence Basaksehirspor might not give their best for game tomorrow which would help Fenerbahce to get win tomorrow in more comfortable manner.

Both teams would seek game as new beginning in sense of result from 1st leg and also willing to compete at the Turkish Cup final and promises to be game of full excitement and actions.
