Besiktas is one step closer to the league title with 4:1 scoreline win against Kasimpasa.
Besiktas has won an important game against Kasimpasa to its road to the league title with a comfortable scoreline of the 4:1 even through it had some difficulty to get full control of the game in the first 30 minutes. Now, Besiktas has left 2 games which it would need to win if it wants to get league title at the end of the season.
Even through Besiktas when scoreline has turned into 1:1 it did show some signs of once again being at the panic mood, penalty goal by the Ricardo Quaresma at the 33rd minute did change everything. Of course, with Kasimpasa not having much aims it did give up after 3:1 scoreline but it needs to be stated that team did focus into at least draw before conceding its 3rd goal. Besiktas surely has also used an advantage to be even more fresh as Kasimpasa has played difficult Turkish Cup semi-final 2nd leg game against Konyaspor during midweek. One of the key players at the game has been Ricardo Quaresma and Vincent Aboubakar who have both scored goals and provided a great assists which helped to get such a comfortable win against its opponent. Besiktas surely would now get at the high mood and motivation for last of the 2 games at the league and with playing without too difficult opponents but again it needs to stay focussed.
Kasimpasa it needs to be stated as been mentioned above did provide good performance at the first 30 minutes especially with fast response to Vincent Aboubakar in 2 minutes time and did provide pretty attacking football. Quite naturally, motivation and focus has been reduced after 3:1 scoreline but it did provide good image that it would end this season at high note.
With Basaksehirspor having a game tomorrow against Trabzonspor, Besiktas has 5 point advantage but assuming that Basaksehirspor will win tomorrow, Besiktas still needs to win all games as draw could cost them league title. But Besiktas does come out to the last 2 games at high mood.
Basaksehirspor does come out as favourite against Trabzonspor but it wont be an easy one.
Basaksehirspor would come out to the most important game among games left as it would meet with
Trabzonspor during Super League 32nd week, the result which would make it clear if Basaksehirspor would be able to realistically aim for league title.
For long time, it became clear that probably one of the key games at the last section of this season would be this game as Trabzonspor are among teams which are at the great form and has a strong aim to end season at the high note. However, looking at the form of both clubs at the recent games it needs to be stated that Basaksehirspor has got more points as Trabzonspor did show some decline at the recent games which includes a draw with last-placed Adanaspor. Even through Trabzonspor has always provided high performance against big clubs, and with Basaksehirspor running for league title it could be qualified as that, but it needs to be remembered that Basaksehirspor has also provided great performance against all of the "big" 4 teams at this season which surely has played their role at being at the title race right now. Even through Besiktas has an advantage for league title, Basaksehirspor would become champions if Besiktas gets even draw at the last 2 weeks of the season.
Basaksehirspor does come out as favourite against Trabzonspor at the game tomorrow, but it needs to be careful at defence as their opponents has best attacking performance compare to other opponents Istanbul has to play until end of the season.
Trabzonspor can use pressure which Basaksehirspor to its advantage.
With Trabzonspor providing a decline of performance at the recent weeks after almost perfect performance during 2017, Trabzonspor would surely see game against Basaksehirspor against Super League 32nd week as a chance to stop this poor performance and end season at the high note.
Even through Trabzonspor still needs to secure its 5th place at the end of the season from
Antalyaspor, it needs to be stated that it does not have pressure compare to the Basaksehirspor which it could use to its advantage as it has pretty good attackers and does not need to be worried about providing too much. Also, Trabzonspor would also very likely see this game as good test for next season and check how its squad would be able to play against team which is fighting for league title as it has similar aims for next season and arleady started surely making plans of the team for next season. The game promised to be very interesting at which the team which would like to win more compare to the opponents would very likely to decide winner at the end of the day.
As previous article, stated Basaksehirspor does come out as favourite for the game tomorrow but Trabzonspor does have advantage of still playing positive football and being under less pressure compare to its opponents.
