Galatasaray will fight for 3rd place against Konyaspor and wait for other results.

Galatasaray has won an important game against Alanyaspor during Super League 33rd week game with 3:2 scoreline and has carried on its fight to get 3rd place at the league table which could mean that it could qualify directly to Europa League if Basaksehirspor wins Turkish Cup tomorrow.

However, to achieve that it needs first to wait for Fenerbahce to lose their last game against relegated Adanaspor which does seem to be unlikely to take place. It needs to be stated regarding of yesterday game that Galatasaray has approaced to all seriousness as it has found 2 fast goals with the help of Bruma and Sinan Gumus and once again Sinan Gumus has made scoreline to 3:1 after conceding goal from Vagner Love. Galatasaray has kept itself at the 3rd place race at the Super League which became very crucial during this season with 3:2 scoreline against Alanyaspor and has kept its chance to start next season later due of Europa League until last week.

Galatasaray has come out to the game with new shirts hoping that it would give them luck and it seemed to do that during 1st minutes of the game as it has found 2 goals within 3 minutes between 14 and 17th minute. Galatasaray with such a start has shown that it has been concentrated to the game for a win as it has also responded fast as Alanyaspor has made scoreline to 2:1. Besiktas are Super League champions for 2016-17 season

Super League 2016-17 season champions has become Besiktas with 1 week left until end of the season and has gained its 3rd star by winning against Gaziantespor with 4:0 scoreline and has gained title in a deserved manner with controlling league during whole season and leading the league for most of the time.

Besiktas has provided a great season at this season and with a strong belief with providing positive football compare to most of its main rivals. In fact for most of the season it was stated at the Turkish sports media and this blog that Besiktas is closest at providing European level of the football and by far the strongest team in Turkey during this season. Meanwhile, Besiktas head coach Senol Gunes has become 1st Turkish head coach to win league title back-to-back in the history of the club but even more important Senol Gunes has led for players to develop into their maximum at each of the game and provide positive football. Coming to the game, it was played more or less as was expected prior to the game as one side was coming to win league title while Gaziantepspor has been eliminated. Besiktas has concentrated to game to get the win without getting too much stress during the game and before last week game against Osmanlispor as was expected while Gaziantepspor couldnt get into the mood and has been observed to be mainly unmotivated and not focussed, especially with conceding an early goal. Basaksehirspor still at the title race at least for 21:00.

Basaksehirspor has managed to stay at the Super League title race and have hopes to win title for at least 21:00 as their had won Adanaspor with 2:1 scoreline with the last minute goal by Stefano Napoleoni which has provided some chances for the Istanbul side.

Basaksehirspor has some difficult time against relegated Adanaspor mainly due of the fact that Doka has recieved red card on 33rd minute due of swearing towards referee due of the position at the foul. This has provided strong motivation to its opponent and in fact made it closer for Besiktas to officially win league title before playing their game against Gaziantepspor. Basaksehirspor even through having one less man for most part of the game has been stayed at the title race with the help of last minute goal by  Stefano Napoleoni who has provided lots of the goals and has played an important role for them to be league title. The situation for Basaksehirspor is difficult one as it needs to await for Besiktas to lose 4 points including one tomorrow against relegated side. Basaksehirspor needs to play like it still has chance for league title.

Basaksehirspor would be coming out to the Super League 33rd week game against relegated Adanaspor before their would now if their would have mathematical chances to get a league title, as Besiktas would meet against Gaziantepspor on next day.

Even through Besiktas is expected to win against team which has also been relegated from league, Basaksehirspor needs to provide performance like the team which still fights for league title and show stay focussed into their performance. In fact, football is very interesting game and hence Besiktas might even draw against Genclerbirligi which would lead them chances for last week games. In addition, Basaksehirspor would also play Turkish Cup final against Konyaspor and hence needs to stay focussed. Therefore, the key for Basaksehirspor is to play like team which still has chances and dont think that Besiktas would like win Gaziantepspor on 28th May. Manager has demanded from Trabzonspor his payment or in return he would take all league titles from club.

Trabzonspor has been woken up by a shocking news that footballing manager Ali Mezlican has demanded payment of his managerial service from the club. What makes this demand more shocking is that he has stated that if he wont recieve this cash, than all of the 6 cups which has been won by Trabzonspor at the Super League would be taken into custody.

This demand by the Mezlican could be seen as very shocking and surprising and does send a strong message to the club how serious he wants this payment or how he wants to make name of himself during this case. During today's statement of Trabzonspor CEO Muharrem Usta, has stated also that he wasnt aware of this development until he read from media and did send strong message to the lawyers at the club and everyone else involved at the judicial matter at the team of not knowing or not informing him beforehand. He did admit that their is debt for managers, but has condemned quite naturally for this request to take into custody the titles which their have own at their history. This story promises to develop into more interesting aspect and does look like would be interested aspect of how it would be solved by the team and Mezlican.

It needs to be stated that stating that it would  take into custody all of the Turkish League titles of Trabzonspor is very unusual and would brought lots of scandals and crises if that would happen, but time would show how this story would develop.

Basaksehirspor player Emre Belozoglu has also been questioned regarding of car gang.

Staying at the criminal aspect at today's blog, the news has been surrounding about Fenerbahce player Ozan Tufan to be taking statement about illegal selling of number of cars at our blog yesterday. Another name which has been taken statement of this case was from Basaksehirspor player Emre Belozoglu  was taken today by police.

Even through as been stated at the blog yesterday, all of those players are have been victims of this criminal case it does raise questions of how many players at the Turkish Super League, especially from big "4" teams has been involved at those issue and were their just victims or did have some role among those people involved at any other ways. Once again as been stated at the blog yesterday, this is normal criminal case which is going around by police but it does raise questions of how much damage has been done by those gangs and how much were football players affected by it. There is chance that this story would develop and even through it might not cover as much at our blog, it would be updated at the social networking sites.

Once again whoever has been involved at this wrong-doing should be punished and those players which are discussed, at least for now, just looked to be victims of those issue.

Gokhan Tore returns to Besiktas after 1-year loan period at West Ham. 

Among directly footballing news, it became clear that West Ham United will not extend contract with Besiktas player Gokhan Tore who has been loaned to the Premier League side and would return to his team at summer.

Gokhan Tore could not have a great season with English club having likely an issue with an adaptation and if Besiktas would decide to keep him for next season, it could provide him much better performance at the team. Since Besiktas, its running for league title, its hard to state that not having Tore at the team has affected much to the team this season but in addition of him to the team would surely provide an additional strength. Gokhan Tore is much more adapted to the Super League and hence would be expected to provide much better performance at Besikas compare to West Ham. Stating that, his stay with Besiktas ex-coach Slaven Bilic would certainly provide help for him during training sessions and he would come in better form despite of not having great season.
