Besiktas is once again at the top of its performance and at the peak of morale
Besiktas is carrying on its title race with head up following a comfortable win against Eskisehirspor during Super League 24th week game yesterday with 3:1 win. With 11 games left for the Besiktas, including postponed game against Trabzonspor, their dont have any right to make mistake in similar manner as Fenerbahce.
There was a big worry with a team regarding of stress prior to game as Besiktas has lost to Fenerbahce last week and was knocked out by Konyaspor at the Turkish Cup in the midweek. Therefore it needed to win a game against Eskisehirspor as the chance to bounce back from the bad period and the poor performance without any focus and control by Eskisehirspor has provided big help for a team to get result it was seeking for. With following game yesterday, the team is once again fully motivated and focussed to the league title aim which it awaits for 7 years as a team. One of the advantage of Besiktas, and also at Fenerbahce, compare to other clubs at the league is togetherness of the side within which is seen at the game and outside of the game.
Besiktas for next week is going to play an important game against Rizespor on Saturday and postponed game 19th week game against Trabzonspor next Tuesday, and this games would provide rather big motivation or more stress to the team for the upcoming weeks.
Galatasaray is been managed very poorly.
Galatasaray as among most criticised teams at the Super League this season focussing both at the internal issues at the team and also administrators aspects in the media. The problem is that most
Galatasaray administrators dont have control of activity which are happening inside the club.
The following administrators is been criticised, mostly rightly, for not able to control situation at the team both at financially and also with players which had raised especially ego of players like Wesley Snejder. The team can change its head coaches several times but when the team still performs poorly it becomes clearly visible that issue is not with them and hence management of team should be done more. It is observed that number of younger administrators have huge ego, coming mainly for being at Galatasaray rather than made any big achievements, and this issue pulls surely club down.
Galatasaray needs some revision within administrators and self-criticism to find solutions as been mentioned before at previous blogs. One of the people who needs to do that is by the way Fatih Isbecer who did make many mistakes this season including over-confident statements.
Aykut Kocaman plays key role for success of Konyaspor.
One of the main surprises of this season at the Super League is undoubtedly is Konyaspor with its impressive performance with leadership of its head coach Aykut Kocaman. Kocaman has been so succesfully that club plans to extend contract with him for next 2 years.
It does look right now, that Konyaspor with such performance could clinch direct entrance to Europa League through Super League while also competing at the Turkish Cup, playing against Fenerbahce at the Turkish Cup semi-final stage. Noone was expecting, including inside the club, such a top performance even through as a team it always had that potential by looking at the squad and Kocaman experience as the head coach. Main thing for a team is to keep feet at the ground and not get overexcited by being at the 3rd place at the table, if it achieved that it can beat most of the teams at the league right now.
Konyaspor will likely extend contract with Kocaman latest next week and if it does that than team will improve at the future and be most spoken club in Turkey in upcoming seasons.
