Despite of win, Fenerbahce and Braga have equal chances to qualify.
Europa League last 16 1st leg game between Fenerbahce and Braga has been played between two teams which are having similar strength as some of the statistics has shown prior to game and despite of great goal by Mehmet Topal at 82nd minute, Braga performance has shown the game is more than open and both sides have equal chances to get to the next stage.
Fenerbahce could be criticised as playing slow and boring football but to some extend Fenerbahce has played in a good European manner against very attacking team which is Braga. If Fenerbahce probably had played more open and attacking football it could recieve more attacks at its goal and end game at worser scoreline. Fenerbahce head coach Vitor Pereira would be very happy with 1:0 score in today's game but his main aim for the game was not to concede to which he succeeded as Braga had few attacks at the goal but only attack by Josue could be qualified as dangerous with a great save of Volkan Demirel. The team did not play actually great 1st half with Robin van Persie trying his best to get into dangerous attacks but didnt manage to convert them and also Fenerbahce has conceded more attacks compare to 2nd half. However, starting from end of 1st half and at 2nd half Fenerbahce has shown more attacking football and has won game with Mehmet Topal goal.
Fenerbahce task is still very difficult as we would see totally different Braga at the 2nd leg but as long as Fenerbahce manages to find goal, as soon as possible, it should be able to get to quarter-final as Pereira defence tactics should be enough. But the game is open for both teams.
Surely, Braga would provide more attacking game at the 2nd leg and Fenerbahce defence would have more job to do but it needs to be careful and should believe it can get into quarter-final stage at the Europa League.
Trabzonspor needs to win Mersin IdmanYurdu if it wants to get into more safe zone.
Trabzonspor will be playing one of its impotant games this season against Mersin IdmanYurdu as the win would affect directly into how much danger is club to get into relegation zone as it is just 7 points above it and 9 points from Mersin IdmanYurdu. Trabzonspor right now main aim should be to distance itself from relegation zone.
To achieve this aim it would be play among its direct opponents for not being relegated and hence the team needs to focus 100% into the win if it doesnt want to find itself at even more stressful condition. This is actually harder than it looks, as team is not performing pretty well lately and also has number of players away due of injuries and bans from PFDK. Teams like Mersin IdmanYurdu and other surrounded around relegation zone naturally are performing much better trying their best to win games towards end of the season and this motivation right now Trabzonspor is lacking. Especially if team manages to win tomorrow it will go with bigger morale in postponed Besiktas game next Tuesday.
Quite naturally, Mersin IdmanYurdu condition is not either better as it is located directly at relegation zone and needs more win than Trabzonspor. But if it focusses and believes it can bring surprise result tomorrow.
Opening of Vodafone Arena would bring new beginning to Besiktas.
Besiktas as the club is getting into countdown of opening of its new stadium Vodafone Arena which is expected to be opened next month and this could be seen at the club as it has organised tour at the stadium with its players, administrators and leading businessman in Turkey.
The stadium is getting into last stages of construction with small section of the ceiling to be done and next week it would start putting field grass coming from Holland. If stadium manages to be opened next month then Besiktas would certainly get extra motivation, morale and more importantly boost at its fight for title with Fenerbahce as it would be able to meet with its supporters who would boost a lot team in last section of the season, factor which was lacking a bit while playing at other stadiums.
One thing is certain everyone is excited at the club for opening of this new stadium and when this day would come new beginning would start for Besiktas at administrative aspect and at the team.
