Turkish National Team has shown that it is in control of game for most of the time.
Turkish National Team carries on undefeated period which has started from last year with winning with 2:1 scoreline at the international friendly game against Sweden. Among this, even more important is that team is carry on showing improvement with 3 months to go until start of the Euro 2016 tournament in the France.
Turkish National Team has provided very positive performance at the game yesterday with despite of 10 minutes period at mid-2nd half it had controlled game and had provided an image that it can control game from start to end, which would be crucial for the tournament this summer. Of course, absence of the Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the Swedish squad at the game yesterday was downside as it didnt allow Turkish players to check their strength against one of the star players in the world right now. Cenk Tosun performance and two goals deserves specific mention as without playing a lot at Besiktas he had shown great performance and making it clear that he might be key player in France for Turkey. Only downside of yesterday's game was injury of Hakan Balta, one of the key players of Turkish team who by the way had experince at Euro 2008.
Right now Turkey has started preparation for 2nd friendly game at this period against Austria which will take place on 29th March. It is important to carry on its top performance and getting good result but it needs to be remembred that Austria has ended its qualifying group a top place (same group where Sweden has ended at 3rd place) which means it could be tougher opponent at the game in Vienna.
Fenerbahce fires Giulianno Terraneo.
Fenerbahce sports director Giulianno Terraneo, which was most talked person during last summer transfer window, has announced that he was fired from the club without knowing much what he done wrong and the reason of this decision.
Terraneo was the most talked person during transfer window last summer and had done great job back then, however as soon as season started his role seems to be degreased at the team, partly for him not playing key role and putting himself at the 2nd role. His management of the players was seen to be poor and other administrators seemed to do his job. It did provide an image that Terraneo only saw that his job was to transfer players, which he does greatly, and seems to ignore factor of managing team in sense of motivation and needs. It is sad that he didnt provide all what he should do the team, as with him one thing would been certain, Fenerbahce would make even more transfers this summer with possibility at competing at next year Champions League.
Terraneo did a great job during his 10 month stay at the club but it wasnt enough for the club and hence he was fired from a team.
UEFA fine to Trabzonspor due of FFP, might affect team negatively.
Trabzonspor has become one of the latest clubs which went into UEFA headquarters at the Lyon, after Galatasaray, for the defence of its Financial Fair-Play regulations to reduce its ban or not recieving at all.
It is widely known that Trabzonspor are among clubs at the Super League who has financial issues and possible punishment could affect pretty negatively to the team. Even through it does look, at least ouside, that Trabzonspor economical situation regarding of FFP is not as bad as with Galatasaray, it does have high number of costs done in this season, which also made club into loss, which affect current situation of the team. Trabzonspor does plan to reduce number of players who over-paid including Oscar Cardozo. It is important for teams right now to be more importantly with transfer of players as it needs to take care of its finances, and Trabzonspor plans to do that next season.
It is expected that Trabzonspor would recieve less punishment compare to Galatasaray, but it would still affect to economical situation of the team in a negative manner.
