Besiktas wins an important win against Antalyaspor
Besiktas has managed to win Antalyaspor with single goal scored by Oguzhan Ozyakup at 27th minute and hence getting one step close to the league title which it had set an eye on during this season. Even through Besiktas has controlled game from start to an end as score suggests it wasnt an easy win for Besiktas.
Even through Antalyaspor is having a poor season it was expected to provide tough times to the Besiktas as it has good motivation right now and with additional push by Samuel Eto'o as been stated at the blog yesterday. However, it does need to state that during the game Besiktas is stronger team in sense of quality as the Antalyaspor did attempt to provide number of attacks and was aiming to provide attacking football and find goals however it had trouble to convert them into chances. Besiktas meanwhile carries on playing with low number of goals compare to its first weeks of this season and does seem to start getting points for the aim of winning games rather than providing high number of attacking football, which could be understandable as the league is coming to the end of the season with being 1 point ahead. Besiktas quite naturally would have more nervous weeks and this could affect to performances of the players.
Besiktas is aimed to win all of the games which are left at the season as it understands that this is only way to get league title with Fenerbahce coming behind dangerously. Apart of the performances, it is important for the team to stay focussed mentally if it manages that it can achieved its set task at the end of the season.
Antalyaspor meanwhile has provided its best football which it can do against Besiktas and it should be congratulated for trying at the best and should provide such a perfomance at the upcoming weeks to go up at the standings.
Trabzonspor carries on winning against teams at relegation zone.
Trabzonspor carries on providing good result against teams which are at relegation zone with one goal winning against Sivasspor and has won game with sense of quality of calmness rather than with good football as Trabzonspor is still far from its best performance.
In fact during first half of the game Trabzonspor did not provide any quality football and didnt create any chances which allowed for Sivasspor to find number of dangerous attacks but had a problem at converting them into goals, and without converting chances into goals it was expected for Trabzonspor to score a goal at 2nd half, taking account that it had provided better game around time when goal was scored by them. Trabzonspor in similar manner as with Mersin IdmanYurdu has won against weaker side and which is have trouble at performing good football. It does seem that
Trabzonspor best aim is to end this season by obtaining as many points as it can and end the season in high mood. Trabzonspor needs to remember that Sivasspor has found much more dangerous attacks compare to them and need to work on that during national team break.
Trabzonspor has for sure now saved itself from relegation zone especially by winning teams who are at that area however in performance wise team is performing very poorly and the mindset of the players is still unfocussed which directly results to the performance of the team.
Sivasspor has provided very positive football today and was doing its best to win a game and this performance for upcoming weeks could turn as advantage as long as it will fight in similar manner in upcoming weeks.
As always it is hard to call winner in derby game tomorrow.
Despite of the poor performance by Galatasaray during this season, the inter-continental Istanbul derby against Fenerbahce has known to bring surprising results with one team coming out as weaker side and other much stronger and providing surprising winning result. One of the best examples being 6:0 win of Fenerbahce against Galatasaray, when Fenerbahce was having its worst 2nd season in history of league while Galatasaray was going for title.
Galatasaray in fact is coming out phisycally in a better condition as Fenerbahce had a very nerve-cracking game against Braga during Europa League last 16 2nd leg stage where team did not only play against Braga but also against referee Ivan Bebek. However, compare to performance wise in recent weeks Fenerbahce looks to be much stronger team and comes out as strong favourite in game against Galatasaray. Another note which needs to be taken into account, that it is first game by Galatasaray player Umut Bulut after death of his father Kemal Bulut at Ankara terror attacks. Despite of great tragedy, this fact could also provide extra motivation both to Bulut and whole team in fact Umut Bulut is known to state that he plans to score the goal for his father at the game tomorrow.
All of this analysis prior to game are needed to take account but as always it is hard to call favourite in games between Galatasaray and Fenerbahce as unexpected results are always take place in the history so it is very to hard predict winner of tomorrow derby.
