Fenerbahce has managed to win Kayserispor with using its advantage at 2nd half.
Fenerbahce has managed to win the game against Kayserispor yesterday despite of poor performance of the team in game and also with the help of referee of the game Firat Aydinus who had given red card to Kayserispor player on 44th minute in disputed position.
Despite of fact that Fenerbahce in overall did control game against Kayserispor, it was far from its top performance at the game and the fact that the team was playing with extra men at 2nd half and also positive football by Robin van Persie has brought an important win for a team which still carries on its fight for league title with Besiktas. Even through the football game was seen as 2nd place in importance after terror attack which took place in Ankara, just 15 minutes before kick-off the game it was difficult to focus at the game in observant manner. Regarding of game meanwhile Kayserispor despite of its condition did provide a good football against Fenerbahce and at least has shown sign of will for wanting to fight at least for a point in yesterday's game.
Fenerbahce has entered for hard and crucial week as it will play 2nd leg game against Braga at the Europa League on 17th March and also at the Super League play against Galatasaray on 20th March. With such an important games it would be seen to some extend poor performance at the game yesterday and also rotation at squad done by Fenerbahce head coach Vitor Pereira quite reasonable.
Galatasaray is not motivated to get 3rd place at the league.
Yesterday's performance by Galatasaray has shown once again that the team is lacking of motivation and focus as it had drawn against Genclerbirligi with 1:1 scoreline and didnt provide any positive aspects during the game.
One of the reasons for game to be ended with 1:1 draw could be more seen by performance of
Genclerbirligi which didnt show lots of belief to itself at the game and had shown sign of being scared in the game against Galatasaray while Galatasaray had provided game which it was far behind from its top. Meanwhile, it is important to note sad news which was recieved this morning at the club. Galatasaray player Umut Bulut father, Kenan Bulut, has unfortunately died after he left the stadium where he was viewing his son performing and went to next to Kizilay bus station where terror attack has took place in Ankara. This sad news of course bring terrible news to Bulut and to the club as whole. Returning to the game, Galatasaray yesterday performance does raise questions if the team players has also thrown white flag for its fight to get 3rd place which could be crucial for Europa League spot, and hence go through UEFA FFP ban next season.
It is hard to state as usual who would be favourite prior to Galatasaray and Fenerbahce performance gap between those teams has never been issue to the game, and there been numerous times when weaker team in performance wise has won its biggest rivarly. So, if psychologically Galatasaray will like to beat Fenerbahce it could be even be closer to get win on derby this Sunday.
Besiktas comes out as favourite but Trabzonspor have chances to win.
The game between Trabzonspor and Besiktas, Super League postponed 19th week game, even through seems to be more important for Besiktas as it fights for title race is in fact also very important game for Trabzonspor which would like to do carry on winning after beating Mersin IdmanYurdu last Friday.
As reminder, it is noted that both teams will not be able to play with players who were signed after the original date of the game and hence Besiktas will once again have problems at the defence, as it would not be to use Marcelo and Alexis Delgado and will once again start with Necip Uysal and Dusko Tosic who are not really main choices but should be enough to provide top football at the game tomorrow. Besiktas does come out as favourite at the game not only of different aims and motivations, but due of psychological status which both teams at. It is known that Trabzonspor is having difficult periods right now and this surely will affect to the team at game tomorrow. Among those problems are injured and banned players which leads Trabzonspor to play more or less with 2nd squad, but factor that Marko Marin and Oscar Cardozo will be able to play is good news to a team.
Besiktas does come out as strong favourite, but Trabzonspor might have different motivation to this game and also with support of its supporters will be extra push. Even through I would argue that Besiktas should win game, it wont be that simple for them.
