Today Besiktas CEO Fikret Orman in the press conference has announced that official opening of long-awaited Vodafone Arena will take place on 10th April and the first game to be played will be against Bursaspor on 11th April. Finally, the biggest project by Fikret Orman leadership at the

With the opening of the stadium, Vodafone Arena will host 3 games at this season and hence Fikret Orman has announced that the season tickets will not go into effect and would only start from next season, putting priority to supporters who arleady have season ticket for this season during purchase of next season. The construction of the Vodafone Arena has took around 2-3 years and the approximate opening dates had been moved several times. However, with the grass arleady been put at the field and small works done it is certain that Vodafone Arena would be able to move its new home on new set date. Turkish National Team are preparing for friendlies against Sweden and Austria.

Turkish National Team has started its preparation for the international friendly games against Sweden and Austria, to be played on 24th March and 29th March respectively. This two games would be great preparation to final tournament as it involves teams which are in level of Euro2016 and in fact will be also present there.

Turkish National Team at the previous friendly period was criticised for not playing against strong teams but this time it is playing against team which will be able to show if team is ready for summer and what should be done to improve current level of the national team. The decision also to bring ex-Turkish National Team players Nihat Kahveci, Tuncay Sanli and Tumer Metin who would join later is great decision as it will provide an important aspects to current squad from experience their had from Euro 2008. Turkish National Team player Hakan Calhanoglu has also joined despite of having strong flu which is what needed by all players at the national team level.

The following game would also be good opportunity to let people forget about terrorism news for at least 90  minutes and it is important in that perspective to win next two games or at least provide fighting spirit at the games.

There would be 1,600 security and police pleasant at Turkey vs Sweden friendly.

The decision to have 1,600 security and police workers at the Turkey and Sweden game is very important as terrorist attacks has been risen with the today's attacks at Brussels being the latest one in this week. Right now unfortunately everyone seems to be vulnerable and it is important for security to make sure nothing happens on those days not only in Turkey but around Europe.

The attitute of Swedish national team, which was mentioned also yesterday, regarding for security and game to take place is very positive and provides right image and the players seems to be determined to play a game which also crucial for them to understand its current situation prior to Euro 2016. Things which is left for security to do prior to game is to make sure that Swedish team  does feel secure and leaves Antalya in positive thoughts as long as outside cases doesnt disturb.

This game is an important one as response to the terrorists and hence should be taken place in that manner, as long there is no direct threat to players and supporters.
