Besiktas has won memorable game against Trabzonspor.
Super League 27th week game between Trabzonspor and Besiktas would be remembered for very long time to the people who became lucky an incredible battle between two sides where both clubs has done everything to win the game. Besiktas has managed to win the game at the end with 4:3 scoreline with help of the Atiba Hutchinson goal at the 90+3' minute.
Besiktas head coach Senol Gunes has managed to win his 1st game at sports complex which is named after him against opposition and provide first loss at their new stadium. Besiktas and also Trabzonspor has fought with all their best fighting spirit and performed like Champions would do and showed that their are believing to get title or otherwise their would not fight for the victory of the game until the end. As always, the players has been provided full focus to the game being very active at most areas of the stadium with creating chances and believing until an end a motivation which could only become possible of their belief that their would get league title at the end of the season. Besiktas as it is known would meet against Olympique Lyon on 13th April and might get too tired until Europa League quarter-final stage but the win would certainly provide an extra motivation and send strong message who certainly would view this game or at least highlights.
On other side, it needs to be stated with such Trabzonspor performance wasnt much worse than Besiktas and it doesnt need to be saddened for them to lose game and to some extend Trabzonspor at least has deserved draw, even through game ended with other scoreline it would been unfair for Besiktas. Trabzonspor as it is known aims to create a team which would fight for league title in next season and with such an impresive performance it would be able to reach this aim at the end of the upcoming season. The mood of the players and quality of players such as Rodallega and Castillo could help team to go forward and even through it has lost its first game during 2017, it should see as positives at the end of the game and get lots of lessons from game.
Undoubtedly, Trabzonspor and Besiktas Super League 27th week game would be remembered as game of the season where both teams has provide full focus until the game and didnt give up until the end. Fenerbahce as usual will be opponent of itself against Akhisar Belediyespor.
Following getting to the semi-final stage of the Turkish Cup, Fenerbahce would now get back to the Super League where it still has realistic chances to get to the runners-up spot for Champions League qualifiying spot and would meet now against Akhisar Belediyespor.
Fenerbahce would come out as favourite against Akhisar Belediyespor however it needs to be stated that the team did manage to win at the league against Basaksehirspor with good football, even through it lost latter at the Turkish Cup. Some players at the team did show a good performance such as Aatif Chacheouhue which made some possible notes from Dick Advocaat and even through Advocaat did state and continues to state that as whole team is not doing great with number of players pushing team down, he still believes that team can end season at good note at the end of the season. With Akhisar Belediyespor being out of the Turkish Cup it could now more focus more into Turkish Cup which could lead some higher performance against Fenerbahce.
Therefore, Fenerbahce does come out as favourite for a game but with not great performance at the Super League it still will not be easy as it look with Akhisar Belediyespor likely to come out with self-belief since Fenerbahce is not having great season and win would motivate them.
Igor Tudor aims to create focussed and fast-paced squad for next season.
It does look like Galatasaray head coach Igor Tudor would be going through big revision at the squad during summer break which would also include selling number of the players including ones who became used to the team and became trademark of recent season and who has written history at the club.
One of the most eye-catching names of this list does look to be strongly to be Sabri Sarioglu and Wesley Sneijder with also reports that Sinan Gumus wanting to leave team in summer for not recieving enough playing time during the game. This is of course has been done by mindset of the Igor Tudor who wants to have hard-working players who are creating high number of the chances during the game and provide fast-paced players, and unfortunately due of age of Wesley Sneijder and Sabri Sarioglu are not available to reach this high-paced football. Meanwhile, Igor Tudor is reported to be focussed with transfers of young and in same time experienced Croatian players and aim to create team which would be run and create high number of chances during the game.
One of the criticism of Galatasaray has been of providing slow football and so is quite natural for Igor Tudor to have such aims of changing that with his new team but it would become clear how this plan would work in summer.
