What happened in Turkish football today? 01.04.2017

Fenerbahce has won an important game against Karabukspor with goalkeepers being stars.

Fenerbahce player Robin van Persie has scored an important goal against Karabukspor during Super League 26th game at the game which was mainly dominated with performance of the goalkeepers and it has recieved an important result.

Despite of winning the game Fenerbahce didnt provide a very impressive performance during the game as it wasnt able to recieve a high tempo and had trouble at controlling ball from start to the end. Fenerbahce at the defence did show a good performance but it didnt provide an impressive performance at the front during the game and had trouble to create high number of chances. However, it needs to be stated that it always hard to play an away game at the Karabukspor as it has shown at the previous games and taking this into account Fenerbahce has got an important win. One of the memerable events at the game has been of Volkan Sen being substituted after 10 minutes of  coming to the field. During that time Volkan Sen has become injured and Dick Advocaat has decided to substitute him, however as Volkan Sen has come out he had shown to coach that he can continue the game but Dick Advocaat has been determined to substitute him. Meanwhile, of the best performances during the game has been provided by Fabiano who made an important saves and played key role to win the game today.

Karabukspor meanwhile did show a good game creating high number of good chances and has provided a game which attempted to slow down Fenerbahce attacks and their did achieve that occasionally. Meanwhile, Karabukspor goalkeeper Sahin has done an important saves during the game which led for game to game end only with 1:0 scoreline.

Fenerbahce has won an important game at the Karabukspor and has now made it place for Europa League spot even more stable right now and would focus to get best results for rest of the 8 weeks left at the league.

Besiktas has a good chance to make point difference from Basaksehirspor to 5 points.

Besiktas would be coming to the Super League 26th week game against Genclerbirligi with being aware that Basaksehirspor has lost to the Akhisar Belediyespor and would now have a chance to get point difference once again to 5 points with its closest opponents.

Without doubt, in either way Besiktas game against Genclerbirligi would be a very important one but it became even more important following Basaksehirspor loss today and taking acocunt that team is in high motivation for the game from technical staff, players and administration it has an important reason to come out with high motivation. It also needs to be remembered that Besiktas has chance to get closer to its league title prior to important game against Olympique Lyon at the Europa League quarter-final in two weeks time. It needs to be stated that Genclerbirligi would certainly provide a tough time to the Besiktas as it does show not bad performance with Umit Ozat and will not be scared to do that. However, with motivation for getting at league title and also focus would lead to Besiktas to show a good performance and come out as strong favourite.

As been stated, Besiktas right now has a chance to get closer to the league title with this opportunity and it is unlikely to waste that chance.

Rizespor have difficult task to beat Trabzonspor.

Trabzonspor would aim to carry on its high level performance without losing any game following national team break with Super League 26th week game against Rizespor at the game which does provide an image that it wont have much issue.

Since start of the 2nd half of the Super League it would been save to say that Trabzonspor is the team to beat and without doubt with Rizespor not providing great performance during this season it could be a good hope. It became clear prior to the game that Trabzonspor players Jan Durica and Emmanuel Mas are coming back to the game following their injuries and hence as the squad are in good mood. One of the main aspects of this game by Trabzonspor is being able to play as the team which would by itself led them to get a good result if their be able to provide a high focus towards the game and get an important win. Its an important for Trabzonspor also to get a good scoreline prior to Besiktas game next week which it would also aim to win for.

As been made it clear there are should be team which would be able to win Trabzonspor but with comparing teams prior to this one it is unlikely to be Rizespor and their have good chance to get winning result.
