Besiktas CEO Fikret Orman reminds that Besiktas fans who showed hooliganism are in jurisdication of Lyon.
As it is known due of constitutional referendum which would take place tomorrow across Turkey, Turkish Football Federation has decided to give a break so it wont affect to the turnround of this weekend. However, the main focus at Turkish footballing world has been given to Besiktas administrative board CEO election and also Besiktas CEO Fikret Orman statements about events which took place prior to the Europa League quarter-final 1st game against Lyon.
Foremostly, it needs to be stated that club's new administrative board CEO has been selected Tevfik Yamanturk with being only candidate running at today's election. Coming to even more important issue which has been statements by the Fikret Orman following events prior to Europa League game against Olympique Lyon, he has stated that all those Besiktas supporters who were at the stand are in juristidication of the Olympique Lyon and the team trying to use all this events to find way to play game without fans as their feel scared to play at this condition. It does look meanwhile that it is very unlikely that UEFA would provide any huge fines to Besiktas and also agree to play without fans. Once again even through it does look like actions has been done by Besiktas fans, it is not juristidication of Besiktas at all as tickets were sold in fact by Olympique Lyon and it doesnt have any situation with them.
The decision which would be made by UEFA is one of the most talking points in Turkish sports media and also in France, but it does look like Besiktas would get less share of damages at this issue.
Galatasaray CEO Dursun Ozbek has come to training session to provide motivation and find solutions to intenal issues.
Following pretty poor results from Galatasaray in recent weeks especially against Basaksehirspor during last week game, club's CEO Dursun Ozbek has decided to come visit team's training session to discuss about issue which team has and solve provide motivation prior to next week derby game against Fenerbahce.
It is been known that situation within the team between number of the players and head coach Igor Tudor is not going pretty well which has certainly affected negatively to the performance of the whole team. The main issue of this situation for misunderstanding with Tudor with number of star players at the team which includes Wesley Sneijder, Lukas Podolski and Nigel de Jong. It was known from start of the game that Tudor aim is to provide a fast paced team of youngsters and with this systems Sneijder, Podolski and de Jong doesnt work. This would be seen as smart choice if it was followed with better scores, but quite opposite team became playing worser and the fact that those players are not in field has become obvious and affected game performance. This issue has created arguments with both sides, and now Dursun Ozbek would need to find solution of this complicated situation.
The role of the Ozbek is not getting into too much into coaching tactics but make it clear that the results are important for last 7 weeks especially Fenerbahce game and its crucial to solve those issues prior to derby game.
Fenerbahce might transfer Antalyaspor Sakib Aytac if it sells Hasan Ali Kaldirim.
Without league to be played as usual Turkish sports media start fulfilling its newspapers and websites with rumours regarding of transfers with one of them stating that due of FFP regulaitons Fenerbahce could consider to transfer Antalyaspor player Sakib Aytac.
According to rumours, this transfer would only take place if it sells during summer its one of the key players Hasan Ali Kaldirim, and Sakib Aytac would be ideal player to feel vacuum at defensive midfield area with good budget. This rumour to some extend could be true as Fenerbahce does need to consider to make their team stronger without spending too much cash due of FFP and purchasing players from Turkey is pretty budget. Sakib Aytac of course is not one of the best midfielders at the Super League but he does have capacity to feel place which could be left by the Hasan Ali Kaldirim. But in same time there is clearly B plan, as it is known that that Fenerbahce does have intention to keep Kaldirim at the team and provide him with extension and he is reported to be wanting to stay at the league.
However, this kind of transfer politics during summer transfer window could be taking place as all teams would need to be careful with economical aspects at the team and also FFP regulations.
