Konyaspor wins  against Sivasspor during Turkish Cup quarter-final 2nd leg game.

Following goalless draw at the 1st leg of the Turkish Cup quarter-final game between Konyaspor and Sivasspor, 2nd leg game between both sides has been ended as the duel between two sides which led Konyaspor to win game with 3:2 scoreline

The following tie has ended up being the most exciting at this season quarter-final stage with Konyaspor getting into leadership twice during the game however Sivasspor have always managed to draw game and hence get advantage our away goal rule. In fact, 1st leg team Sivasspor has almost become one of the rare teams to get into semi-final stage at the Turkish Cup in past years. Kayserispor has allowed Fenerbahce to get a comfortable win at 2nd leg of quarter-final.

Fenerbahce has managed to get through Kayserispor during Turkish Cup quarter-final stage without much issues as it has won two games with 3:0 scoreline and has completed both ties with 6:0 aggregate scoreline. Taking account that club has trouble against Kayserispor at the league this does in fact look impressive.

It needs to be stated that the game has been played in pretty friendly way as Kayserispor has come out in mood of arleady being lost from tie and didnt provide any fighting spirit and resistance to the Fenerbahce. Taking account that Fenerbahce were determind to win this Cup this season as only hope to safe this poor season, it has managed to control game without providing too much pressure during the game. Fenerbahce it needs to be said did look good during yesterday's game but this has been mainly due of allowance by Kayserispor. Fenerbahce also has recieved good development since Volkan Sen has scored his 1st goal in almost one year which certainly would lead him to have lots of motivation for upcoming weeks for fight for 2nd place at the league and also winning Turkish Cup. It does look that Fenerbahce would give now all its focus towards Turkish Cup.

Fenerbahce would meet right now with Basaksehirspor which has also provided a great performance both at the league and cup and to some extend has been most successful side of the season if measuring performance at two competitions. It will not be an easy game for Basaksehirspor as both sides would aim to win cup at the end of the season.

Rizespor has fought but it wasnt enough to get semi-final ticket of Turkish Cup.

Rizespor tried its best to turn around its tie against Kasimpasa which it has lost with 2:0 scoreline at the 1st leg, but it has always met with strong resisitance from Istanbul side as the game has ended with 2:2 draw and 4:2 win to Kasimpasa at the aggregate.

Rizespor which does have a poor season was hoping to get Turkish Cup semi-final at least and has tried to provide big comeback with an early goal during the game but there was always Kasimpasa player Adem Buyuk which has managed to draw game as the game progressed. Both clubs gave their best during the game even through Kasimpasa could have accepted better performance as their had shown recently good games in recent weeks compare to Rizespor but to some extend you need to admire with performance shown by Rizespor during yesterday's game and this concentration and performance could possibly helped them to stay at the league even through it does look to be difficult task. Kasimpasa is currently at the last four of the tournament and have good chance to get Turkish Cup at the end or at least provide Istanbul final.

As been stated, the key of this tie has been 1st leg as Rizespor has shown good performance yesterday and it was a bit dissapointing for them to be out of Cup after giving such great fight.
