Besiktas would aim to get an advantage scoreline after 1st leg game against Olympique Lyon.
Besiktas will get back to its impressive journey at the Europa League as it going to meet against Olympique Lyon during 1st leg of the quarter-final against one of the main favourites of the tournament. Besiktas does look to be very optimistic prior to game but it is important to convert this confidence into performance.
It needs to be noted that if Besiktas would play its usual best performance it has shown during this season, then it still will not mean that Besiktas would be able to get to semi-final for certain but at least it would be able to provide some tough time for its French opponents. Still stating that there is no reason to feel positive that Besiktas might get into semi-final stage of the tournament. Besiktas still needs to be reminded that it will be playing without Vincent Aboubakar due of ban and also without Ricardo Quaresma who is currently injured. Even through this players are known to be key players at the squad it still doesnt mean that their are no alternatives which could be taken their places at the game. Besiktas also has an advantage of only focussing into this tie during this two week period as there will not be played any games at this weekend due of constitutional referandum taking place on 16th April. With giving all its focus to Olympique Lyon it does have an important advantage for this tie.
Besiktas players does come out to the game with full motivation and optimism but it needs also to stay focussed for the game to get an advantegous scoreline from 1st leg game. It will be difficult but it is possible task.
Galatasaray head coach Igor Tudor and player Wesley Sneijder are having big misunderstandings.
There are reports that there is strong disagreements at the Galatasaray between player Wesley Sneijder and head coach Igor Tudor due of relationship with both parties and especially Tudor refusing to play Sneijder in last few games.
With Galatasaray losing to Basaksehirspor with 4:0 scoreline and getting further for their aim at getting 2nd place, as it is currently 7 points behind with 7 weeks to go during this season, it does look like this situation will be discussed a lot until summer. Galatasaray head coach Igor Tudor decided to be focussed with players who give their all best and aim to provide an attacking football and hence he is not taking Wesley Sneijder and Nigel de Jong to starting 11 but problem is that it is difficult to state that the players who are on the field are giving their good performance during the game. And taking this into account Wesley Sneijder could provide a great performance with great shots to the goal and ability to create into chances. In addition, his name would be enough to push players and affect mentally to opponents. Galatasaray once again ending season at very low and needs lots of changes in summer.
Galatasaray still has chance to get into Europa League for next season at ending at the top 4 position but with this performance and Trabzonspor coming up from behind it can even risk losing that and hence players need to wake up urgently.
European giants are interested with Trabzonspor player Okay Yokuslu.
It became clear that number of big European clubs, namely Borussia Dortmund, Bayer Leverkusen and Sevilla are interested to transfer Trabzonspor star player Okay Yokuslu as he done very impressive performance and being one of the main players to push team upwards in 2017.
Okay Yokuslu with high number of goals and assists has been able to get lots of the attention from Turkish football followers and also outside from Turkey, as he clearly became one of the key players of the 2nd half of the season. It is quite normal for number of big clubs to provide big interest on him but it does look like their need to come with pretty good transfer offers as Trabzonspor has no intentions at selling him at the end of the season and wants to keep as one of the players for the aim for league title competing side. But as long as he carries on this top performance this interest would only raise and pressure be ginven as transfer window is getting closer to be opened in summer.
It would be to some extend be better for Yokuslu himself to stay at the team and play an important role for possible strong squad for next season and be part of the team history.
