Trabzonspor did everything to win game but didnt find winning goal.

Despite of showing dominating game against Genclerbirligi during Super League 29th week game, Trabzonspor didnt manage to find a goal in today's game even through it needs to be stated that their did best to find goal which would led to win the game.

It needs to be noted that very likely this game was among the most attacking games by Trabzonspor during whole season as it was observed that their did their best to win today's game with providing fast-paced and attacking football. This became visible from the start of the game as their had been dominating and controlling tempo of the game looking for creating high number of chances with its attackers. However, as the game progressed their couldn't turn around the scoreline and this result could be referred as being unlucky with taking account how much their worked to find goal. The players such as Hugo Rodallega, Olcay Sahan during the game has found very good chances but has lacked of last touches at the game. Fenerbahce would come out as favourite struggling Rizespor but it wont be easy game.

Fenerbahce is expecting to be a favourite at the Super League 29th week game against Rizespor with taking account its recent performance both at the league and Turkish Cup even through it doesnt show a great game with fast tempo.

Kasimpasa has shown great comeback against Konyaspor.

Even through Turkish Cup semi-final 1st leg game between Kasimpasa and Konyaspor could been hardly be referred as very exciting game in duration of whole 90 minutes, it was still able to provide 5 goals in total with 3 of them being scored by Kasimpasa in duration of the 5 minutes.
The factor of that comeback between 82nd to 86th minutes goals by Kasimpasa has not been mainly of the good performance prior to goal as it was not able to get upper hand of more or less balanced game against Konyaspor but more of self-belief and keeping motivation and belief at the highest. If

Kasimpasa has lost this game with 2:0 scoreline its task of getting to the final of the Turkish Cup would been hard as it would need to score 3 goals without conceding in Konya, and as it is known its one of the hardest away games in the Turkey. One of the bad news and probably worst has been of injury of its one of the attackers Koita who will not be able to play for 6 months and will not help team in 2nd leg of semi-final and in final if team gets there. In overall, Kasimpasa did provide great comeback at the night but it needs to improve this performance at the 2nd leg as game against Konyaspor will not be easy one in Konya for sure but this comeback will provide full motivation and confidence for them.

Konyaspor has lost concentration in last 10 minutes.

Even through it has lost game due of losing concentration and not being able to responding after 1st goal in 82nd minute from Kasimpasa, Konyaspor still has good chances at this tie and would look forward for 2nd leg game due of 2 away goals it has obtained.

Even through as been mentioned the game has been played in between with both sides playing in middle for most part of the game, Konyaspor looked to be more comfortable as the game progressed and has shown better performance with better self-belief.However, the main reason why it has lost game at the end of the day was due of lack of showing reaction after conceding 1st goal and getting to last 10 minute being too relaxed with goal advantage. Turkish Super League will be returning with Trabzonspor and Genclerbirligi game during 29th week game, as Trabzonspor who is getting closer at clinching Europa League spot from Galatasaray has been motivated to this game.

Kasimpasa has shown great comeback as it was close to lose to Konyaspor.

Kasimpasa has managed to show a great comeback by turning around a game from losing 2:0 at its home with winning the game 3:2  after getting goals after 82nd minute in duration of the 4 minutes.

The game which has been played in pretty dull tempo did provide an exciting end for sure.
It needs to be noted that Kasimpasa did provide pretty poor performance at the beginning of the game as both teams were showing pretty slow and ineffective football but Kasimpasa has been providing even more ineffective football and had trouble at getting into fighting spirit of the game. With such a game it did look like that Konyaspor will not have much trouble at winning an important game at the away field after 2:0 scoreline but whatever happened with Kasimpasa motivation it has managed to change game entirely within 4 minutes which led to huge shock from Konyaspor as it could not respond with such performance. Kasimpasa it needs to be stated showed a great fighting spirit at the last minute even through it was lacking great performance during whole game.

Konyaspor meanwhile has been controlling the game from beginning of the game with finding also an early goal on 16th minute by Hadziamihotic and was moving to the important win at away field with goal from Bajic at the end of 1st half. Even through game has been played in the middle, Konyaspor until 80th minute has managed to provide a reasonable good performance with controlling ball however getting too confident and keeping score has costed them a lot and with them losing concentration has led Kasimpasa to provide a memorable comeback. With having 2 goals after 1st leg at away game it still has good chance to get to the final as long as it wins at home due of this advantage. But one thing is certain if Konyaspor does get into leadership in 2nd leg it needs to stay focus and dont repeat same mistakes it has done today.

Thanks to the Kasimpasa 3 goals come back it has managed to provide a memorable ending to what otherwise was a game with lack of dangerous attacks. Still there is lots to be played for 2nd leg and lots of questions to be asked at the 2nd leg.

Fenerbahce still didnt provide great performance against Basaksehirspor despite of getting good result.

Despite of poor performance during Turkish Cup semi-final 1st leg game against Basaksehirspor, Fenerbahce has been able to provide an important draw and clinch an advantage for 2nd leg game which would be played in Kadikoy.

As soon as game has started and taking account that due of events which took place following Rizespor game where Basaksehirspor has beaten up A Spor journalist, team was not be able to play its strongest squad, it has started game pretty fast and has scored 2 early goals. This factor has shown that Fenerbahce defence was not ready or as Fenerbahce player Salih Ucan has stated following game, the team didnt wake up in beginning. Turning point of the game has been certainly goal scored by Ozan Tufan straight after conceding 2nd goal which allowed them to get better control of game. Despite of that it is hard to state that Fenerbahce has shown great performance at the game and were lucky to get such an important draw for its road to the final of the Turkish Cup. Stating that 2nd leg will not be an easy one for Fenerbahce for sure.

Fenerbahce does lack of self-motivation and focus as league gets to closure which was observable from yesterday and Galatasaray derby game. It would need to provide better performance in return game on 17th May if it wants to play at the final.

Basaksehirspor has shown great performance against Fenerbahce. 

Basaksehirspor meanwhile with all of the factors of not being able to play with its strongest squad and playing with 3rd goalkeeper without much experience at high level did provide a great effort during Turkish Cup semi-final 1st leg game against Fenerbahce.

In fact, Basaksehirspor head coach Abdullah Avci has admitted that their had shown better performance compare to Fenerbahce and have indeed win the game but didnt win at score. It has provided a positive football with its star player Cengiz Under once again proving why he is such a great player and has bright future at the Turkish football with two classy goals, especially 1st one showing pure class. Meanwhile, as been stated without playing good squad and missing Volkan Babacan at goal and Yusuf Aydin at attack it still had great squad which could fight for league title and would certainly provide tougher times against Besiktas on 30th April game. Despite the draw does provide home advantage for Fenerbahce at 2nd leg, as long as Basaksehirspor wins the game it would be able to get to the final so there is good hope for them as long as their provide top football on 17th May which their are certainly capable to do.

Basaksehirspor has started game pretty well against Fenerbahce but didnt kept its advantage until final whistle.

Turkish Cup 1st leg semi-final game between Basaksehirspor and Fenerbahce has ended with 2:2 scoreline at the game where Basaksehirspor has shown great start to the game with finding two fast goals but wasnt able to carry on its good performance as the game progressed.
It needs to be noted that Fenerbahce did start game pretty poorly and during whole game did provide not too fast football with some extend allowing Basaksehirspor to control game for most of the part.

During few last games even when Fenerbahce got an important wins, it wasnt able to provide fast-paced football and does seem to be having lack of motivation. The mistakes which it has created during first minutes of the game where instead worrying especially at the wings area of the field at the defence as Basaksehirspor was observed to come in easy and calm manner at the front and having providing good crosses. However, Fenerbahce still has found 2 away goals and before 2nd leg does have small advantage as long as it doesnt lose game in its home next week.

Coming to Basaksehirspor, taking account of crises between A Spor journalist following Super League 28th week game against Rizespor it was especially curious how Basaksehirspor would be responding. It is expected that players are aware of this themselves and hence would provide big effort to get an advantage scoreline after 1st leg game against Kasimpasa played in Istanbul. The fact that both teams are in similar strength provides same amount of chances to see final as not being able to overpass their opponents.

Besiktas is confidently moving to the league title.

Despite of showing signs of tiredness at the Super League 28th week game against Adanaspor which is placed at the last place in the league, Besiktas has managed to win game with 3:2 scoreline and with 6 weeks left at the season, are currently 7 points ahead of 2nd-placed Basaksehirspor.

Besiktas has managed to win Adanaspor after having difficult week.

Following very hard both physically and emotionally game against Olympique Lyon during Europa League 2nd leg game which it has lost at penalties at high tempo 120 minute game, it was expected that Besiktas would have difficult time with last-placed Adanaspor during Super League 28th wek game.

Besiktas did try to play an effective game today and it needs to be stated that it didnt provide slow game but there were some simple mistakes been done especially at defence during today's game which led to concede 2 goals. With Adanaspor still having some chance to stay at the league has provided a positive football which provided even more tougher time for the Besiktas. It would be natural for some people to criticise Besiktas performance today against last-placed team as it was team who was going slowly to the league title this season, but as been mentioned after Lyon game it was normal for them. The best outcome of the game for Besiktas has been for Dusco Tosic to find his 1st goal with his club at the 80th minute which ended up being most important goal during whole game as it allowed him to bring victory to his team at the end of the day. It was important him such a goal after some simple mistakes during this season and also missing penalty against Lyon in midweek.

Adanaspor meanwhile has provided high quality performance during the game with providing good brave performance against league leaders and has provided that their can provide a possitive football. If their performed like that generally during this season their certainly would not been now at the last place at the league.

Fenerbahce has won with dull football against Galatasaray.

Derby game between Galatasaray and Fenerbahce which took place during Super League 28th week, would be remembered by the fans as one of the most dullest games between two rivals. It would also be remembered with pretty poor performance by the winner Fenerbahce.

During whole game Fenerbahce has only found 2 dangerous chances and 1st one has come out at 86th minute while 2nd at 90+1 minute was goal by the header from Josef de Souza from very good play from Sener Ozbayrakli who has provided great asisst to Souza. Fenerbahce has been focussed into providing strong defence but it is pretty difficult to state that Galatasaray has been been very effective at the front even through statistically it shows that Galatasaray has dominated game. It did look like during game that Fenerbahce didnt have intention to win the game and has been just lucky to find the goal but it could been also be tactics to slow down Galatasaray and find goals at the end of the game, the tactic which played an important role for game to be observed in dull way. Fenerbahce performance despite of win does show that team needs a lot of revision after season is complete.

Stating that, with winning Galatasaray, Fenerbahce is currently 4 points behind 2nd place Basaksehirspor and still have good chance to get Europa League with playing last 6 games at the league.

Galatasaray needs big revisions both technically and administratively.

In other hand, Galatasaray with losing against Fenerbahce yesterday is right now 8 points behind Basaksehirspor and its chance to get 2nd place are getting weaker as it needs to win all of the games while hopping Basaksehirspor losses 3 games and Fenerbahce 2 games.

Super League 28th week game between Galatasaray and Fenerbahce in overall wasnt able to provide an exciting game  between two biggest rivals in the Turkey and has been game which was not very effective at producing dangerous chances even through Galatasaray has controlled game for most of the time.

Fenerbahce during the game has been mainly focussed into defensive football and not being to go forward until 86th minute where it had 1st shot to the Galatasaray with 5 minutes afterwards Souza finding a goal. In fact, Souza goal has come into moment when game has been played at slow tempo and hence it was an unexpected one when the goal after 90th minute has passed during the game. One of the key players has been Volkan Demirel during the game as he managed to prevent some shots which has come from Galatasaray. It needs to be stated their opponents attacks could not be referred as too dangerous but he was most observed player during the game at Fenerbahce. It needs to be stated that Fenerbahce has provided good defensive football as their opponents didnt find good chances during game.

In overall, both sides has shown poor performance during the game and didnt create much chance at the game which was played at very low tempo.
