Besiktas has ended successful year with a win. 

Besiktas has ended the year of the 2016 with a win against Boluspor at the Turkish Cup 4th week game and has secured its place at the last 16 stage of the tournament, with best event of the game for a  team is being a goal scored by the Talisca.

With an successful year it was pretty logical to expect that last game of the league title champions would end this year with a win against Boluspor at the game where it has controlled for most of the part. Playing at the home even through with few numbers of the fans it was able to end the season at the high note and provided a very good farewell present to their supporters. It needs to be said say that Besiktas has controlled game from start to the end with having on 12 shots on target at the game which it has provided in total of 19 shots. It was also a good news to score a goal by Talisca who has returned to the team earlier than it was expected he would play his first game on 2017  but with fast recovery has shown very good performance at the game.

With weather and field conditions being at better conditions, Boluspor due of big difference with quality wasnt able to provide a surprise against Besiktas compare to last week game but it still has aimed to provide a positive football at the game despite of lacking to create chances.

Besiktas would enter to the last 2 weeks of the Turkish Cup group stage with knowing that it would be competing for last 16 stage which means that until February its only worry will be Super League which would restart in two weeks. Besiktas would surely will have good break which it has deserved in this year.

Fenerbahce is currently at great mood prior to midseason break.

The game which was mainly dominated by the fact that Trabzonspor was playing its last game at its stadium Huseyin Avni Aker stadium prior to moving to the Senol Gunes Complex has been mainly dominated by Fenerbahce high-class performance with winning game with 3:0 scoreline.

Fenerbahce did manage to win the game even through it needs to be stated that it did recieve big help from Trabzonspor Yusuf Erdogan handball which has led to the red card and penalty which allowed Fenerbahce to have much more comfortable game as their had converted penalty and had an extra man during the game in around 60 minutes of play. It needs to be stated that Fenerbahce did not provide a very good performance prior to Fernandao goal at the penalty but to some extend Fenerbahce did have chance to turn the game as Trabzonspor did lack to convert  their chances , view which it had provided during whole season. Fenerbahce player Jeremain Lens did perform as usual at top performance at yesterday's game and has played an important role at the win which includes scoring 3rd goal during the game and providing two assists.

Fenerbahce has won 2 games back to back at the league with 3:0 scoreline and is 5 points behind leaders of the league Basaksehirspor which means it would go to the next year with still being directly at the league title race.

Trabzonspor didnt show signs of scoring even with 11-on-11.

Trabzonspor quite naturally would see that it had lost game due of red card of Yusuf Erdogan due of handball and goal-line and penalty kick which has led to this position but it needs to be stated that it was uncertain it would find  goal even on equal sides.

It is true that it had started game in good way against Fenerbahce and had upper hand which includes hitting post at the start of the game. To some extend, it would been unlikely for them to lose game with 3:0 scoreline with 11-on-11, but it didnt give much image at the recent performance that it would have won game. Trabzonspor was playing its best football it is capable right now while Fenerbahce would very likely to be improved in upcoming minutes as game progressed. Trabzonspor has failed to score Fenerbahce for high number of games since 2013 and it didnt provide an image it would do yesterday. Trabzonspor is certainly having a very bad season and it has lots of things to improve at in the midseason break.

Trabzonspor didnt win the game but it does have chance to get a win against Kizilcabolukspor during Turkish Cup 4th week game, which it has won with 5:0 scoreline last week, and hence enter to the midseason break with at least in bit good mood.
