What happened in Turkish football today? 06.12.2016

Besiktas recieves shocking result with shocking refereeing decisions.

Besiktas has recieved totally unexpected result as it has lost against Dinamo Kiev at the last week of the Champions League group stage with shocking 6:0 scoreline despite of fact that Kiev side was coming to game entirely to play for formality.

It needs to be stated that even through Besiktas in performance wise didnt perform good at all, referee decisions during the game has certainly affected to the result of the game with reminding of the Ivan Bebek at last season Europa League during Fenerbahce and Braga game. It needs to be stated that penalty decision and red card which was followed to the Andreas Beck is beyond understanding as it is clear that Beck didnt touch Dinamo player and forgetting about red card, it wasnt even penalty. Besiktas needs to be stated still didnt show great reaction to the game and didnt show any fighting spirit and has allowed to control game fully to Dinamo Kiev, it has also lost control game  which certainly led to needless 2nd yellow card of Vincent Aboubakar. It needs to be stated again that referee certainly did affect to the scoreline but among shocks of Besiktas losing game and it is questionable if it could respond well even with 11-on-11 after 2:0 but score would been different.

As been mentioned, Dinamo Kiev has come out to the game purely for formalities and the result has allowed Dinamo Kiev players to end European season at high note. Dinamo Kiev needed to be stated did play good regardless of referee decisions.

Besiktas still carries on European journey this season as it would compete at the Europa League 2nd round game in February and best thing to do for them after this game is to focus on how to carry on its best performance at that tournament.

Trabzonspor has got an important win against Kayserispor.

Trabzonspor has got an important win against Kayserispor during Super League 13th week game as it experiences very struggling season and is providing performance which is way below of expectation from fans and media.

It needs to be stated that this win has been got from another struggling side, whose head coach Hakan Kutlu has presented his resignation today which was accepted by club, and hence to some extend it was lucky to recieve an opponent at such condition at this tough period. Stating that, this time Trabzonspor opponent seems to be unhappy with referee decisions as their claim, in positions which are debatable, have been penalties which to some extend raises worries that recent protest of Trabzonspor towards referees, even throuht mostly are right, will provide negative aspect to the other sides at the upcoming games. Despite of that, Trabzonspor did come out to win such a crucial game and now would aim to get further from relegation zone as far as possible until midseason break.

Trabzonspor would meet against Adanaspor during Super League 14th week game which is for now is weakest team at the league who have obtained only 6 points. This is good chance for Trabzonspor to carry on its to carry on its winning mood without of course underestimating opponents.

Kayserispor head coach Hakan Kutlu has resigned from his post.

Following yesterday loss to Trabzonspor, Kayserispor head coach Hakan Kutlu has announced his resignation from the spot today with explaining his decision to the unfair refereeing during recent weeks.

Hakan Kutlu argues that during last two weeks at the games against Trabzonspor and Alanyaspor the referee didnt give 6 penalties, 3 during each. It needs to be remembered that Hakan Kutlu has also presented resignation after 11th week game against Genclerbirligi but it wasnt accepted by the administration. Even through Kutlu argues that he would rather leave as unsuccessful coach and even through his arguments have some value about referee, it needs to be remembered that his team has got 9 points and is before last at the standings. Therefore, the performance wise the team wasnt having good season and despite of all this difficulties it is possible that his leaving due of performance but wants to send strong message to referees as he leaves.

Hakan Kutlu surely gave his best to Kayserispor which includes saving from relegation during last season but he didnt have good season and all blames should not be thrown to referee. Now, upcoming coach would have task to raise mood of the players for upcoming games.
