Galatasaray starts a year with a win against Karsiyaka.
With Galatasaray aiming to once again get to the title race at the Super League, it was important to win a first game against Karsiyaka at the Turkish Cup to get into the mood to this very difficult task. It has achieved that with winning game with 3:1 scoreline. In addition, newly-transferred and much promised Ryan Donk had scored a goal with his first game at new club.
