What happening in Turkish football today? 08/09/2020

Besiktas has left Isimat-Mirin and Douglas out of squad

Besiktas players Isimat-Mirin and Douglas has been taken out of squad due of undisciplinary behaviour during training session as side is considering to sell two players during this summer transfer window.

It is known that Besiktas head coach Sergen Yalcin doesnt have two players in his plans for upcoming season which could be one of the main reasons why their been taken out of squad and likely unseriousness behaviour of both players provided reason for such decision. With Besiktas so far didnt recieve good transfer offer for two players and also them not being too eager to side does provide some difficulty with ending contracts with both players and to some extend this could be tactical decision from Besiktas. After this decision we could be seen for both players to end contract with Besiktas and our blog would follow latest developments in this matter.

This story did get into new twist and could develop into much more actions of all parties and would be interesting how it would be developing.

Basaksehirspor signs Rafael for 2-years.

Basaksehirspor which been pretty quiet during this whole summer transfer window, has made one of the most speaking transfer of the day as it has signed Rafael for 2-years hence making their squad bit more competitive for Champions League.

Basaksehirspor which would be competing at Champions League group stage for 1st time in its history has been surprising quiet in the transfer front. But its 2nd transfer so far has been pretty eye catching as it has signed Olympique Lyon ex-player Rafael. Even through player is getting closer to end of his footballing career without doubt, he would be player with highest amount of experience in top tournament at the squad and his presence could provide some help for not very optimistic campaign. Therefore, his signing would only provide help for side for upcoming season event through it could be very limited for him as player is likely to be competing at Champions League for last time in his career.

Still, this could be seen as good transfer for Basaksehirspor with having player with such experience in the squad.

Rizespor signs Selim Ay for 2+1 years

Rizespor has signed Selim Ay for 2+1 years after player has terminated contract with Konyaspor on previous day and could provide some strength to side.

Selim Ay are among players who could be seen as general mediocre side player who could provide some key performances in crucial performance, player which would be ideal for Rizespor when taking aims of the club as it would be aiming for staying in the league and if results turn out well end league at midposition. With Ay performance in Konyaspor its clear he could provide good performance in midfield and on level for side to provide attacking performance for sure which would be crucial to achieve this aim.

Therefore, this is being crucial transfer to Rizespor which would strength its performance in upcoming season.
