What happened in Turkish football today? 02/09/2020

Turkey will have tough game against Hungary.

Turkish National Team would be playing its 1st international games, as all of the European countries, at Nations League League B 1st week game as it would be meeting with Hungary where it would be aiming for top spot with getting into top division of tournament.

Even through Turkey would be coming to the game as favourites due of their recent performances especially with Senol Gunes, it needs to be noted that Hungary is being tough opponent with which shows high level performance and did have memorable performance during Euro2016 and is being side which does provide high and positive football, but if Turkey manages to get high level performance which it showed at Euro 2020 qualifiers it should be able to turn around game. It needs to be noted that this is being tough group with Russia, Serbia so it would be important to start this short competition with a win for sure.  Role of players who play in Europe would be crucial here as their take most part of the squad.

If Turkey wants to have strong group stage in this tournament, it needs to be starting with strong performance against Hungary.

Galatasaray signs 24 Anagold Erzincanspor player Kerem Akturkoglu for 4-years.

Galatasaray has signed youth player Kerem Akturkoglu from 2nd division side 24AnagoldErzincanspor as side for 4-years  has shown strong interest towards him start of the transfer window.

With only being 18-year old without doubt Akturkoglu does provide high level of potentiality which could be gain both for Galatasaray and Turkish National Team in the future and without doubt it would be strong opportunity for him to improve in top club while Galatasaray has obtained young and potential player which is being main focus during this summer transfer window for all clubs. Akturkoglu in his previous club already showed himself as strong attacker always looking for opportunities and having high tempo. Due of his age and development, it would be not expected for him to get much playing time next season but this is great opportunity for him to improve as player.

Therefore, this transfer has been effective one for both sides as its been strong investment for future for both names.

Kasimpasa signs Debrecen player Kevin Vanga for 2+1 years.

Kasimpasa has transferred Debrecen player Kevin Vanga with strengthening its midfielding position with pretty good level Hungarian player for 2+1 years.

Even through most of clubs during this summer transfer window does have issues with signing midfielders, Kasimpasa does look to be solved this issue with signing Vanga who is being good player in his position and general when looking at Debrecen. Therefore, with quite naturally losing some players it still managed to get some good name which could strengthen team's strength for upcoming season as Kasimpasa would be hoping to start season in similar manner as their ended previous one. As been noted, getting good midfielder is important position in this league and it looks it solved this issue.

Therefore, in first glance it does look transfer which would provide strong performance for Kasimpasa.
