Besiktas has lost 2 points to Antalyaspor due of lack of creativity.
Besiktas has lost 2 points during Super League 2nd week game against Antalyaspor as Besiktas even through did get high amount of the possession and control of the game, it is difficult to state that it provided high tempo and much creativity at front.
It is important to remind that this game was on risk to be cancelled with previous Covid19 test results at Antalyaspor with 56 positive test results which later turned on negative which does raise some questions how this could been taken side with side would be internal investigation of incident. It needs to be noted that this Covid19 issue very likely did provide some worrisome and pressure to both sides which without did some effect into game, even through it could be noted that both sides did provide pretty good confident performance with creating some chances. Besiktas did provide some good game with control performance but as been noted above it didnt provide tempo which been expected from them on this day which without doubt did help with Antalyaspor to be finding equaliser in the end of the game. Possibly one of the mistakes, which been done by Besiktas is possibly to be focussed into 1:0 scoreline which is always tricky scoreline.
It needs to be noted that Antalyaspor did fail to get into focus of the game from start of the game but it did improve as game progressed with some addition in squad and did find crucial goal from Gokdeniz Bayrakdar who scored 1st goal on his debut Super League game.
Besiktas did provide soem good performance but didnt get into tempo and creativity which it had and hence has lost 2 points at this game.
Trabzonspor has serious issues with getting high tempo during this games.
Turkish Super League 2nd week game between Denizlispor and Trabzonspor has ended with goalless draw with both sides getting 1st points during this season at the game where Denizlispor did provide slightly better game compare to opponents.
Absences which Trabzonspor currently has which includes injured and not being able to fill spots of playes which it ended contracts during this summer transfer window has become again visible as apart of few good opportunities it didnt provide very effective game which followed with slow tempo. With taking account that Denizlispor played with 10 men for last 20 minutes due of two yellow cards by Hadi Sacko within 3 minutes after entering field did provide opportunity to Trabzonspor who still got better squad and despite of creating some chances still didnt use very good opportunity. Even through during previous season Trabzonspor did have some defensive issues it did provide some fast paced tempo game, which it is being currently very far to be achieving in this season and does raise issues how it would get goals if it having difficulty. It does look like team needs to work on this issue both with current squad and transfers.
As been noted, Denizlispor especially on start of the game looking to be more willing to be creating chances but it didnt convert them but still looked to be more creating side therefore providing some optimism for upcoming games.
Trabzonspor did get its first point during this season but it needs to be noted that it didnt provide very effective performance once again and could have some issues in upcoming games.
Galatasaray does look to be at better form before game against title-holders.
Following Trabzonspor and Besiktas game on last week, Turkish Super League is going to be continued with another big game between Galatasaray and Basaksehirspor on 2nd week even through it does look like Galatasaray would be coming out to game as favourites.
It needs to be noted that Galatasaray did start this new season in very high note with getting confident wins against Gaziantep at Super League and Neftci Baku at Europa League 2nd qualifier with same scoreline of 3:1, and despite of conceding at each game did show strong dominance in both games. On other hand, title holders did provide pretty poor performance against new-comers of the league Hatayspor with providing pretty disorganised game. Even through current condition of Galatasaray is been pretty clear right now, when coming to Basaksehirspor it would be harsh to compare both sides. It does look key role of the game or at least at Galatasaray would be played by its attackers Mbiaye Diagne and Radamel Falcao, with Falcao expected to be starting against Basaksehirspor but there is chance for two attackers to start game.
Despite of 1st games performances of the side, it is expected for Basaksehirspor to show some reaction and provide good game so it still promises to be good game.
