Turkey provided very slow and not creative game against Serbia
Turkish National Team has got 1st point during Nations League League B 3rd group game against Serbia with goalless result but it needs to be noted when taking how this game been developing, Turkey has been one to lose 2 points.
Foremost, it is needed to be noted that Turkey did provide improvement from its performance which it shown against Hungary but it needs to be remembered that with how poorly game has performed on previous game, even slight good performance could be seen as improvement. Without doubt this is been case during this game also, as Turkey did provide very slow tempo game and didnt create much of the creativity with most of the chances going directly to hands of opponent goalkeeper. When star of Serbian team Alexandr Kolarov got red card on start of 2nd half, it was expected that it would be providing much more effective attacking game but with Serbia focussing into draw, Turkey continuing slow tempo of the game, its been developing into how Serbia wanted. Therefore, Turkey doesnt provide performance which it has shown during Euro 2020 qualifier which could either be described to lack of concentration and taking Nations League seriously from players and technical staff.
Meanwhile, it needs to be noted that Serbia did provide good start of the game creating of number of the chances but as game progressed it did lose control of the game and start providing defensive game understandably into defence, and with Turkey being ineffective at attack did get 1 point.
Turkey doesnt provide enough tempo for win of this game and doesnt look like it provides enough focus for this tournament and could have tough game against Russia which has 6 points from 2 games.
Besiktas and Galatasaray are interested with Jose de Souza.
