Yeni Malatyaspor transfers Semih Kaya for 2-years

Yeni Malatyaspor has transferred Sparta Prague player Semih Kaya which could be seen one of the main transfers on this day as struggling club during this season so far would be strengthening its defending position.

It needs to be noted that Semih Kaya with his strong performance at Galatasaray and also pretty positive character did provide important mark at his side in recent years and with showing pretty successful performance in Czech Republic, is being back to Turkey at the club which aims to be at least in the league during this season. Without doubt, one of the main important position in this league is being defender and hence getting quality and experienced player would provide important strength for the side for this season and provided much needed effect into connection of defence and attack without doubt.

Therefore, this transfer both would be bringing player to Super League and provide pretty crucial strength to side.

Antalyaspor transfers Mert Yilmaz for 5-years.

Antalyaspor has transferred Bayern Munich player Mert Yilmaz for 5-years with showing that side is having high level trust to young player who does come from top team in world right now without doubt.

It needs to be reminded that Mert Yilmaz did play mainly at top German side in the youth team where he did show some good performance which without doubt did affect attention to Antalyaspor and early was at Besiktas transfer list. With coming from Bayern Munich by itself does provide he has high level of potentiality and with working coach like Tamer Tuna who focusses to show positive football style would only provide strength to player while club would develop potential strong player into its squad for sure. Therefore, this transfer could be seen as win-win condition for all parties involved.

Once again 5-year transfer provides view that Antalyaspor has high expectations for player and its now time for Yilmaz to fulfill them.

Fatih Karagumruk signs Badou Ndiaye

Fatih Karagumruk has transferred Badou N'diaye as side continues to make pretty impressive and effective transfers during this summer transfer window as it clear team does have high aims for this season.

Without losing single game so far during Super League seasons and also pretty impressive and effective transfers during this summer, league new-comers Fatih Karagumruk continue to strength with transferring Badou N'diaye. N'diaye without doubt did provide view of being high level player and became one of the key players at Trabzonspor without doubt and he would be continuing to showing high level performance at Fatih Karagumruk which does aim for Europa League spots according to statement by club recently. Getting player who has high level of experience at Super League and who still aims to show strong performance would only help side to reach that aim.

Therefore, Fatih Karagumruk continues to show effective performance in this season and even through expecting them to be at title race is to positive,it would make mark in this season.

Tiredness from 2 games per week affected Galatasaray

Derby game between Galatasaray and Fenerbahce with being without doubt being most anticipated games during whole year didnt fulfill expectation from fans of both clubs and general football followers, but there were reasons for this.

With game ending with goalless draw, it could be noted that Galatasaray supporters could be most dissapointed with such results as compare to both teams, there were coming with much better form so far winning 5 games. However, playing 2 games each week due of Europa League including that Hajduk Split been more or less difficult game did show its effect in this performance. It still needs to be noted that one of main players during game has been Luyindama who provided confident defensive performance preventing some of the opponent opportunities which did make Fatih Ozturk job easier during game. Another downside been for game to be played without supporters which did lack motivational boost for side which psychologically certainly made task harder.

Still, Galatasaray did provide some good organised game however it needs to be noted that its attacking players even through did show good game were not in same level with earlier games.

Fenerbahce are getting used to be playing against each other.

Even through Fenerbahce didnt show strong and effecting attacking game as did Galatasaray during game, still looked to be much more organised and controllable side.

Even through it is difficult to note that Fenerbahce does perform in level which would could be leading to be referred as strong title contenders their still showed strong organised game especially at defence preventing to show strong attacking game as game been developed. One of the main reasons for such performance for Fenerbahce without doubt being with lacking having squad which is been used to be playing with each other which did affect whole side in so far during this season but luckily for them didnt let them to lose game yet with being 2 points behind title contenders. Pretty strong performance been shown by defenders which does provide high hopes for players in this period but it does look like team need to work on its attacking aspects with aiming to improve this area for upcoming games.

Fenerbahce still is getting used to be playing with other other as there is been big revision but it does show some possitive expectation for future.

Besiktas concentration has been low to Konyaspor game.

Besiktas did get pretty unexpected loss to Konyaspor during Super League 3rd week with losing 4:1 scoreline providing incredibly slow tempo during game and conceding highly unexpectable goals.

It did look like Besiktas players both mentally and physically were not ready for this game without doubt with providing very slow tempo game and lack of creating game to which led in return Konyaspor realising that and being aware it did catch probably weakest Besiktas it ever could get start providing much more attacking game and with usage of unexpected defensive mistake did score 3-goals and another one from penalty. It needs to be noted that during all games this season, including Trabzonspor, side didnt find right tempo and also lack of quality attacker which needs to be solved as soon as possible, especially with forward transfer as window ends on 5th October. Therefore, it does look like Besiktas has some serious issue both in squad and self-belief, so Sergen Yalcin needs to find ways to raise motivation.

Performance so far by Besiktas does provide worrying view and this season could be going very problematic if it continues like this.

What happened to Turkish football today? 27/09/2020

Galatasaray and Fenerbahce focussed into organised game at derby.

Biggest derby in Turkey and among most important games in global football has ended with goalless draw with both sides providing highly focussed defensive game hence providing more controllable game which became habit of derby games in recent years.

Galatasaray has been come out as strong favourite towards game hence rather then with results but more regarding of performance which site been showing until this game both in Turkey and Europe provided high expectation with providing high tempo against Fenerbahce. However, organised defensive game which been shown with opponent and also playing 4 games in 2 weeks while Fenerbahce played only two games did affect to this low tempo from Galatasaray. Despite of low tempo which could be seen reason of tiredness, apart of that it didnt show much of being tired from game since it still managed to stay focussed both in defence and despite of lack of high chances it still showed some organisation. With both side having strong players and well-organised plans did provide to some extend bored but well tactically performance by both side. With current condition of league with none of the sides making 3 out of 3, it did end among 4 sides with 7 points after 3 points.

On other hand, with Fenerbahce drawing against its opponent does keep themselves 2 points away from league sides so this draw even through would be unwanted result for side and would not be accepted prior to game, it would be not be seen as bad outcome since it did play away even if there were not supporters. With signing players like Tisserand and Lemos Fenerbahce did make clear with such game that it made strong defence on its disposal with preventing Galatasaray showing strong and confident performance. During previous 2 seasons, with Fenerbahce getting very far from title race been mainly happened due of poor defence however this game did prove that it does have well-organised and high level defenders. However, with showing strong defensive performance it did have some trouble with providing strong attacking game and take account lack of it in previous game, does provide worry that side could become strong at defence but could struggle with finding goals. Still, as been noted above with being 2 points behind Galatasaray and other leaders, this result is good one but it needs to improve its performannce especially in attack.

With both sides being aware of importance of not losing this game as both sides could become potentially main title contenders has led for organised and tactical game but led for not very exciting game.

Besiktas slow and infective performance led for unexpected result against Konyaspor.

Besiktas has provided unexpected loss against Konyaspor during Super League 3rd week game with providing very poor performance during whole game with conceding pretty simple goals and failing to get upper hand of the game from start to an end.

One of the main issues for Besiktas during this game is failing to provide any high tempo from start of the game which without doubt did go into hand for Konyaspor as medium-base game allowed them to prevent Besiktas to provide effective attacking game and also provide some effective attacking game using opportunities which Besiktas let them to get. It needs to be noted that such poor performance and especially simple mistakes it made when conceding first 2 goals are not expectaple for side like Besiktas in this level and possibly for interesting aspect showed that players didnt get into game and been pretty loss of concentration. Stating it was visible that Besiktas in sense of tempo seems to be having such issue from start of the season, even through pretty worrying it does show rather decline of performance rather then improvement which would provide some worry for Besiktas head coach Sergen Yalcin. This side for sure needs to figure out solution for such low tempo game or it would have more dissapointing results in upcoming weeks.

Konyaspor did realise without doubt that it did get Besiktas with pretty poor condition and starting from 30 minutes of the game managed to provide brave but same time controllable game with finding 4 goals and getting best result against Besiktas in history of two sides playing each other.

Besiktas without issue continues providing some worrying image with showing in fact worser game by each week and right now Besiktas needs to find solution to solve this if it wants to get result which it seek for.

Trabzonspor got must needed win against Yeni Malatyaspor thanks to Benik Afobe 2 goals

Trabzonspor has got its 1st win in the Super League during this season as it won against Yeni Malatyaspor with 3:1 scoreline as newly-signed Benik Afobe has scored 2 goals with showing his quality.

It needs to be noted that with coming out to the game with only 1 point after 2 games and having league title in this season, it was important for Trabzonspor to get win in this fixture regardless how it played. It did get advantage with coming in such crucial time against Yeni Malatyaspor who in all respect are having very poor start of the season to get this result and restart season for themselves without doubt. It needs to be noted that with finding 3 goals during 1st half, Trabzonspor compare to opponent did provide much more effective performance with higher tempo but when looking in overall it could be noted that it wasnt still on level which it been seeking for. However, it could be stated that this result would provide much needed motivation and confidence. In addition, it was especially important for Benik Afobe to find 2 goals, with first one being relatively easy, to get personal confidence and in this game he did provide positive view of getting main role at attack for team

Trabzonspor without doubt did get confidence which it been lacking with unwanted result and performances so far this season and could have new beginning for themselves for upcoming games.

Trabzonspor gets its 1st win after beating Yeni Malatyaspor

Trabzonspor has won Yeni Malatyaspor during Super League 3rd week game with 3:1 scoreline with pretty comfortable performane and getting very important motivation and confidence in the end of the day.

It was important for Trabzonspor which did start season without any win during first 2 weeks of the season so it needed to get win in the end of the day even by showing not very good game. In fact, it should be noted that when coming to the tempo of the game for most amount of the game didnt provide speed which would been expected from them for most amount of the game but it needs to be noted that when Benik Afobe 1st goal did come from his header  into empty goal did let Trabzonspor to provide much more organised performance with looking for chances. With 2 goals which doid come out from Benik Afobe without doubt would also provide confidence for upcoming games as he been purchased to provide some effective attacking to the side. Still, Trabzonspor did reduce some of the tempo during 2nd half which let for opponent to find  goal from penalty kick but still in overall showed controllable game and got important without doubt.

Yeni Malatyaspor on they part didnt provide very good game without getting too much into game showing in all respect pretty slow game without much creativity and did have issue into game, area which needs to be solved for upcoming games.

Trabzonspor did win its first game during this season which it needed to get after 2 games and this game could be turning point without doubt with getting motivation and confidence for upcoming games.

Galatasaray are favourites for game but things can turn out differently.

Turkish Super League is going to be continued with derby of two continents between Galatasaray and Fenerbahce as both sides would be playing against each other relatively early but already Galatasaray does provide view of the strong favourite.

With taking account how both sides has started season both in sense of the results and performance wise, Galatasaray does look to be much more compact team with providing great collective game with winning all of the games both at Super League and Europa League qualifiers. With taking account that Galatasaray did get win against Hajduk Split and in occassion did play with pretty rotational side should not be providing much issue for the team in this game. However, as it is known it is very hard to call favourites in derby games and since win for Fenerbahce would provide same points with one of its title contenders would provide extra motivation among aiming to turn around not very successful start of the season. In addition that game would be played without supporters would provide some issues to both sides, but since Galatasaray is side which plays at home it would lose its significant advantage which is present always at derbies.

Therefore, Galatasaray does look like as strong favourites for game but Fenerbahce could provide good and strong response to the game for sure.

Konyaspor could provide Besiktas to start providing better performance.

With pretty poor start of the season so far for Besiktas both at Super League and Europa League with only winning out-of-form Trabzonspor, side would be expected to turnaround its performance so far with win against Konyaspor.

Return of Sergen Yalcin after being recovered from Covid19 would also provide an opportunity to provide direct decisions with how game would be developed as long as he would be able with such poor performance. Meanwhile, it is expected for Vincent Aboubakar who has signed 1+1 year contract with Besiktas to be starting 11 or at least substitution, which could solve some attacking issues which side has currently on this game and rest of the season. It is important in this game for Besiktas to provide high level of concentration and hence open new page for rest of the season. Meanwhile, Konyaspor did have not very good start of the season with getting 1 point and even through side would also use this game as opportunity to get at least point, to some extend this opponent is good option to get crucial win which it needs for its condifidence.

Besiktas are coming out as favourites but it does need to provide improvement within side especially in attack if it wants to win this crucial game.

Besiktas urgently needs to find effective forward player

Following relegation from Champions League 2nd qualifier against PAOK, Besiktas has also been relegated from Europa League with losing to Rio Ave after penalties kicks where compare to previous game it did show better game but still very far from what was expected from them

Besiktas didnt have great start of the season which could be related mainly to lack of transfers, it has done especially at defence as current players especially Jeremain Lens could not fulfill with their performance which could be visible from how side performed against Rio Ave also without doubt and didnt provide much pressure which was needed in attacking game. Still, in positive note it could be stated that Besiktas did control game and did provide performance which showed it wanted to win game but lack of attacking creativity and strength without doubt went into hand of Rio Ave which did find equaliser without doubt in very important minute of the game which let game to additional time which led for penalty kicks which turn around in way which Besiktas has been aiming to provide without doubt.

Therefore, Besiktas did been eliminated from Europa League with ineffective performance in attack which reminds once again that it need forward players urgently.

Belhanda single-handedly brought wins to Galatasaray.

Younes Belhanda continues providing very good start of his season and reminding his importance to Galatasaray as he found two goals against Hajduk Split as soon as he entered to field in 2nd half.

It needs to be noted that prior to Belhanda entering to field, Galatasaray been one who did create chances and had high level of control in the game but without doubt Belhanda did raise tempo and creativity at the front and most importantly scoring 2 goals with bringing to side tickets to play-off round and provided some promises prior to Fenerbahce derby game without doubt. With such performance he without doubt did push quitness all criticism which he recieved prior to season as side wanted to sell him and would now be discussing this issue again very likely. Without doubt another star of the game been Marcao who provided perfect defensive performance with preventing Hajduk Split potentially dangerous opportunities. Therefore, Galatasaray did show that it being most organised so far in the Super League.

With such good performance it would now look with optimism to upcoming games against Fenerbahce and Glasgow Rangers.

Alanyaspor showed good game despite of loss to Rosenborg

Despite of getting unwanted result against experienced Rosenborg at Europa League it needs to be noted that Alanyaspor did provide pretty good performance even through it did concede from simple mistake.

Among as club which did play its first European football, there was also high number of players which also experienced there first experience in this level which would be expected would provide some pressure to players but most amount of time there did show some good game with also creating some number of the chances. However, calmness and effectiviness in all field for Rosenborg did lead win as Alanyaspor simple mistake could be relate for not being fully concentrated in that moment. Still, this provided good experience for Alanyaspor and there need to be remembered that there among 2 teams in Super League who got 2 out of 2 and need to forget about this game focussing to rest of the season.

Alanyaspor with result didnt get result it seeked for but still provided some good observations with how their performed in first game against experienced opponent.

Galatasaray got great win with rotation side.

With Europa League 3rd qualifying round starting with 3 sides, Galatasaray has been only side to get into play-off round with providing strong confident performance against Hajduk Split with getitng 2 goals during last 15 minutes of the game.

Galatasaray did provide pretty strong performance even if it did made almost whole rotation of its squad from Super League 2nd week game against Basaksehirspor which did provide view once again that whole side is providing top level performance which is highly motivated for the game and is giving their best performance to get win in the games which they playing. It could be noted that Galatasaray didnt start game in the way it was hoping to do so due of Hajduk Split but from 2nd half Galatasaray slowly got control of the game which it kept at high level until end of the game and did provide pretty strong confident performance with Belhanda and Diagne and even through Diagne didnt score on this game he showed his hunger and still provides some high level game which would lead Radamel Falcao to be felt under pressure. This result without doubt would also kept them into high motivation and confidence for upcoming game Fenerbahce derby game and also against Glasgow Rangers at play-off round.

Hajduk Split as been noted did have good start of the game but didnt manage to continue such level of performance as game been progressed but still could be noted that did show good game in game which it was underdog.

Galatasaray provided another good performance even if it played with alternative and continues to show best form among Turkish clubs in early stage of season.

Besiktas has been relegated from Europa League after penalties against Rio Ave

Following being out from Champions League with only playing one game following PAOK lose, it sadly been relegated from Europa League following 1 game as it lost to Rio Ave following penalty kicks after 1:1 draw of 120 minutes.

It needs to be noted that Besiktas did start game in good manner with providing confident and strong performance with providing attacking game which led to good goal scored by Guven Yalcin but as game been developed it did lose that high level control of the game as Rio Ave start showing much more effective game with slowly getting control of the game and afterwards even getting even more control of the game which Besiktas did provide partly good response but not getting into high tempo game did provide some issue for the side without doubt. Still it could be noted that Besiktas didnt been too far into level of performance compare to they opponents and did show some signs of improvement compare to Antalyaspor but it still been pretty far from level which was expected from them prior to game and it clear that side didnt reach into level which it was seeking for in this season for sure.

Rio Ave on their half despite of not showing good start of the game has managed to turn around game after conceding goal and didnt turn around with finding equaliser on 2nd half and providing much more performance at penalty kicks and getting into play-off round.

Therefore, Besiktas after losing to PAOK at Champions League, has also lost to Rio Ave at Europa League with still having issues in attacking front.

Alanyaspor provided good game against Rosenborg.

Alanyaspor has lost its debut game at Europa League against Rosenborg even through it did provide some strong performance with losing game with minumum scoreline of 1:0 and did create some of the good opportunities as game developed.

It needs to be noted that despite of losing game against side which needs to be remembered has high experience in the European football, Alanyaspor has managed to provide strong performance against Rosenborg with preventing them to get into high amount of the chances and providing strong defensive game. Despite of that, it needs to be noted that during whole game Alanyaspor did also create some good opportunities in the attacking side of the field. Therefore, it needs to be noted that Alanyaspor which did come out as underdogs did provide some difficult times for Rosenborg and didnt allow them to provide full control of the game with showing that there are not easy opponent to beat. Only dissapointing aspect which could be noted for Alanyaspor is regarding conceded goal as it did come from Fatih Aksoy not being able to get ball out from field and helped Konradsen to get good opportunity to get effective shot from that bounced ball. But despite that Alanyaspor showed strong performance for sure.

Without doubt the game did been played in equal matters but as would be expected Rosenborg get crucial role of win against Alanyaspor due of its experience in European competitions, using opportunity from mistake of opponent.

Despite of losing, Alanyaspor without doubt did provide strong effective game against Rosenborg and can be proud with its debut at Europe despite of unwanted result.

Besiktas needs to show strong attacking game against Rio Ave.

Besiktas is going to start its Europa League campaign after losing to PAOK at Champions League 2nd qualifier against Portuguese side Rio Ave at 3rd qualifying in one game at Istanbul hoping to provide much more better performance compare to Antalyaspor.

Compare to other two sides, who would be playing tomorrow, Besiktas has provided weakest start of the season as it loss 2 games and won until now with especially some issues being present at the attacking, part which aims to solve until game but it does look like it would be missing having this issue. Even through not much is known about Rio Ave and it does have pretty limited experience in the Europe, it is from league which is being among most competitive leagues and could provide some issues during game which would mean that side would need to be careful and aiming for strong performance in all aspects and use its opportunities which it gets into attacks effectively issue which it lacked during last league game without doubt.

It is difficult game to see clear favourite of the side but unfortunately for Besiktas without having strong attacker could provide some issues in the front for sure.

Galatasaray are favourites despite coming with 2nd squad

Galatasaray would be expecting to be coming with rotational squad during Europa League 3rd qualifier against Hajduk Split but this might not provide much issue with performance as whole side seems to be at good condition.

Due of most important derby game in Turkey on 27th September and also Basaksehirspor game on 20th September, Galatasaray highly expected to be coming with close to 2nd squad not of reducing importance of game and seeing its opponent weak but due of keeping players condition especially in the start of the season. This same squad did provide good performance against Neftci Baku which it won last week with 3:1 scoreline so this does provide some optimism for side. To all respect to Neftci, Hajduk Split is being stronger side so it could provide some issues to Galatasaray but still this form, confidence of Turkish side does put them into strong advantage for this game for sure.

Therefore, Galatasaray would be seen with high confidence even through Hajduk might provide some pressure on game so it should be aware of this during game.

Alanyaspor has opportunity to get surprise result against Rosenborg.

Alanyaspor would be debuting at Europa League with well-known side Rosenborg which has high amount of experience at European competition which does provide lots of advantage but it doesnt mean that Alanyaspor will not get surprise result.

In domestic league, Alanyaspor among Galatasaray are being 2 clubs which did get 2 out of 2 which certainly in confidence and motivation manner would provide positive outcome for this game. Therefore, getting into mood of winning but without forgetting its playing against side which are more experienced, it could provide self-confident against Norwegian side. As it tends to be case, importance and performance of Alanyaspor at defence would be playing role during game but it would be needing to provide good and strong counter-attacking play when it got chances.

It would be tough for Alanyaspor, but with some self-confidence it can get unexpected result on the end of the game.

Schedule:

UEFA Europa League, 3rd qualifying round:

20:00 Besiktas - Rio Ave

20:00 Rosenborg - Alanyaspor

21:30 Milan- Bodo/Glimt(winner of this tie would be playing against winners of Besiktas - Rio Ave at play-off round)

Fenerbahce provided very poor ineffective game against Hatayspor.

Fenerbahce provided very poor performance during its Super League 2nd week game against Hatayspor as it played with 2 extra men for 20 minutes without providing much strength against opponent which didnt provide any attacking performance for whole game.

It needs to be noted that main focus for Hatayspor has been to provide defensive game against Fenerbahce which provided very intensive defensive focus which led without doubt has been reason why they didnt provide any single shot towards Fenerbahce goal. Even through this defensive performance needs to be praised of Hatayspor, it needs to be noted that Fenerbahce didnt provide its much pressure to the goal with only having one good chance which been post from Gokhan Gonul. In fact, that position made it clear that only opportunity to score against very intact defensive game of opponent is to provide very fast game but this position without doubt has been only one where Fenerbahce did that and otherwise has been too slow and uncreative which to some extend even led for Hatayspor possibly to provide even strong defence which it planned to do, especially during 1st half. It could be stated that Fenerbahce did provide some higher tempo in 2nd half, compare to first but still it wasnt close enough what would be expected from them against such opponent.

It is clear that Fenerbahce did provide its worst performance of this season as it is almost impossible to do even worser than yesterday but it needs to improve for upcoming games especially for Galatasaray, as this kind of game provides lots of worry.

Trabzonspor gained 22 million euro from Alexander Sorloth.

Trabzonspor has gained 22 million euro and some other important priviliges when its loaned, originally player of Crystal Palace has joined to German side RB Leipzig and hence provided high amount of financial help to player.

It could be noted that Trabzonspor did lose without doubt its very important player who could have direct impact for this season league aims but when looking at the things in financial matter this is being incredible gain especially taking account it was loaned player. Such important deal been made such as 20 million euro was given for ending loan deal for 1 season earlier, 2 million euro for bonuses during this season, half payment of transfer fee given by RB Leipzig, 20% share from next transfer and priority given to club if player could be coming back to Super League. Therefore, even through player been criticised for having talks with RB Leipzig and leaving side alone in the end of the day everyone who was involved ended up being as winners in this transfer for sure.

This transfer certainly would be most interesting one this summer transfer window and recent years as club made such cash from loaned player is unprecented.

Konyaspor signs Artem Kravets for 2-years

Konyaspor has transferred Artem Kravets for 2-years as player provided some strong performances on previous season at Kayserispor and would provide strong strength for attacking field for side.

Even through it could be argued if Kravets is strong player for big 4, he is player which all of the mediocre level clubs in Super League would be willing to transfer and Konyaspor to get him after he left Kayserispor this summer. Without having any adaptation issues with this transfer, it would be expected for Kravets to get used to side at short period of time and start coming out to the games even possibly in this weekend and providing big help in attacking of the side for rest of the season.

Without doubt, Kravets did establish of one of the leading attackers at Super League in recent years and would provide impressive strength to side for this season.

Fenerbahce didnt provide any effective game against Hatayspor

Turkish Super League 2nd week between Fenerbahce and Hatayspor has ended with goalless draw with both sides in all fairness did everything to provide high-level anti-football game with Fenerbahce player Gokhan Gonul header which hit post only provided memorable position.

With taking account that Hatayspor did play with last 20 minutes with 9 men, it was still visible that Fenerbahce didnt provide strong creative attacking game without being able to get effective game, with some moments even looked like Hatayspor was playing with extra men. One of the main aspects which been visible with side is that many players looked to be too slow with going forward both with and without ball and also had some issues with understanding between players which without doubt did affect for such poor performance. It needs to be noted that with getting such quality players to the squad, it is important for Erol Bulut to get maximum level in the field and raise understanding as soon as possible, especially as it going to play to against Galatasaray during next week which is being in total opposite as it provide most strong game with providing side which is most ready in this league in early weeks. With taking account this game, Fenerbahce did also show game where it had high possession of game but didnt do much at front with providing pressure to opponent apart Gokhan Gonul post.

On other hand, Hatayspor did complete game without any single shot with focussing too much into defensive, but taking account it was visible it tactics for such game and not conceding goal when playing with 9 men for 20 minutes, it could be arranged that. Therefore, despite of weak attacking game, Hatayspor been side which got point.

Fenerbahce has provided in overall very poor game without providing much danger to Hatayspor which is more worrying when taking account that it played with 9 men for 20 minutes. This performance doesnt provide much optimism against Galatasaray right now.

Galatasaray provided strongest start of this new season.

With looking into performances of Galatasaray against Gaziantep, Neftci Baku and lastly Basaksehirspor and comparing with other clubs, it could be noted that team did provide most strongest and organised start of the season.

In fact, all of the aspects which it was lacking in the end of the previous season seems to be solved with team providing forward seeking performance which it continued against Basaksehirspor especially during 1st half. It is especially important for side to realise that whole team, regardless if player did provide good or bad performance in previous season and also newcomers without doubt are showing good and confident performance keeping their mistakes. In fact, only issue which been present has been goalkeeper as side did concede goal at each game since injury of Fernando Muslera but on this game Fatih Ozturk did provide confident performance saving important shots from opponents especially towards end of the game and does get promising view for upcoming games without doubt.

Therefore, Galatasaray would be having difficult game in this week against Hajduk Split at Europa League 3rd qualifier and Fenerbahce but it would be looking on this game with full confidence.

Basaksehirspor needs to improve until its not too late for them

Basaksehirspor on other hand provides total opposite performance from previous season end which it ended with title, as it doesnt provide strong performance and apart of losing 2 games, even more importantly didnt yet score goal.

One of the arguments from Basaksehirspor is that their also started previous season with 2 losses, but it needs to be remembered that all of title contenders did have poor start of previous season and continued in duration of whole season. It would be unclear if it would be like that and its true that there are 38 games left, but very good start would not bring you title but very bad start could cost your title as we saw many times. Still, its not too late but it needs to solve its performance as not only poor season would be effected but also humiliating performance at Champions League which would do damage not only to them but reduce coefficient of the Turkey. Hence, it does look like side needs to solve its attacking game especially.

This is still early days of season, but Basaksehirspor still needs to find solutions of this performance if it doesnt want to have dissapointing season.

Galatasaray has got win against Basaksehirspor with strong organised game.

Galatasaray has continued its strong start of this season with Super League 2nd week game against Basaksehirspor with some confident performance and ending game without conceding first time since injury of Fernando Muslera despite of their opponents having some good opportunities.

Galatasaray during this performance did once again provide view that it is being at the most in-form side both with how it plays and atittude towards game with most of the players providing high level performance and concentration from start of the game which by itself shows how physically and mentally is at better condition compare to the end of the previous season. It needs to be specific focussed towards Younes Belhanda which is being strongly rumoured that club wants to sell on this summer transfer window while player wants to stay. With such performance Galatasaray could once again consider if he should stay or not with this level of game. Only negative aspect which could be noted is for Galatasaray to provide strong defensive game after 2:0 but on other hand it did go into defensive with getting scoreline which could been dangerous but again it did prevent them with Fatih Ozturk possibly providing his best performance since joining side.

Basaksehirspor on other hand did provide much better performance in 2nd half and especially started showing attacking game after 2:0 which does raise question why it waited for such long time to show such game. Currently title holders didnt find goal in 2 games which would provide lots of worry and area which needs to be focussed by Okan Buruk.

Galatasaray as been noted did have very good start of the season and would now look forward for Hajduk Split at Europa League and after that derby game against Fenerbahce.

Besiktas does provide slow tempo in the start of the season.

Despite of controlling game for most part of it, Besiktas did lose 2 points to Antalyaspor during Super League 2nd week as it provided slow tempo game without providing too much opportunities at the front.

As would be remembered, despite of win against Trabzonspor during opening week,it was visible that Besiktas does have some issues especially with tempo wise and this become even more clear with game against Antalyaspor. Rather then going into more attacking game following 33rd minute goal by Cyle Larin, despite of some opportunities during game it did look like Besiktas was playing into score which is very dangerous tactic with 1 goal leading scoreline. When taking account that Antalyaspor didnt lose game for pretty long time and also having hence high confidence this would been very difficult tactic which led for debut goal by Gokdeniz Bayrakdar at 85th minute and even through Besiktas started providing panic attacking game, it didnt change scoreline.

Besiktas did lose 2 points but on other side it does have some issues with tempo of its game and hence needs to improve on this area at short notice for sure.

Fenerbahce could have some issues against confident opponent.

Following Basaksehirspor Galatasaray game, it could be noted that one of the most anticipated games of this week could be also seen to be Fenerbahce and Hatayspor as both sides did get wins on opening week.

Fenerbahce does come out with strong squad this season does aim for league title without doubt, but its opponent did get unexpected but without doubt well-deserved win against title holders. Therefore, even through it is more or less known how Fenerbahce would be playing game which it is without doubt being favourite to win, it would be interesting to see how Hatayspor will respond as it did get confidence and motivation from beating Basaksehirspor during last week. In addition, it needs to be noted that Fenerbahce didnt provide its best performance and didnt use some of its newly-signed players which are likely to be starting in this game, so we would be much more revised side very likely who would give important signs of this season version of Fenerbahce.

Fenerbahce hence does come out as favourite but it would be playing against side which does have confidence prior to this game.
