Trabzonspor has drawn game which it has dominated for most amount of time.
Turkish Super League 11th week game between Trabzonspor and Bursaspor has been played with two different halves where Trabzonspor has dominated during 1st half while Bursaspor has performed better during 2nd half compare to 1st half.
Stating that it needs to be mentioned that Trabzonspor has been looking for a chances during whole game creating high amount of the chances and wanting to win game for most amount of the game. Despite of getting too many chances and having lots of shots its still has managed to score only 1 goal which would be seen as factor that it does have lack of converting goals even through it does have pretty strong attackers at the field. Some of the reasons could be due of the factor that Trabzonspor players lack of concentration but probably even more likely could performance of goalkeeper of Bursaspor who has saved 5 saves which is most during this season. Meanwhile, it needs to be mention actions which was shown by Burak Yilmaz when being substituted with angrily waving his hands and showing disrespect and it does look that club administration would provide him some punishment for such action as its unexpectable from any player at any calibre.
Bursaspor as been mentioned didnt start game at good manner and didnt provide good performance at 1st half allowing Trabzonspor to create chances but has improved as 2nd half and has created great
chances among scoring goal and could even get win if its been lucky at some moments.
Trabzonspor has recieved 3 draw back-to-back and with finding itself 8 points behind league leaders would have some issues to stay at title race if it would carry on getting points at such point average right now and needs to get more positive results.
Besiktas has lost its chance to share leadership with Basaksehirspor.
Besiktas carries on providing dissapointing performance this season at away games as it has lost very important against Basaksehirspor with 1:0 scoreline and have lost an opportunity to get into same points with opponents who are currently league leaders.
It needs to be stated however that Besiktas was one which has controlled game and has shown passing game but didnt manage to get many chances yet to find goal. Main reason for that was for Basaksehirspor to show very good defensive game while for Besiktas it was obvious that their had lack of creativity as game has been progressed. It does seem to be that Besiktas does have issue at providing lots of creative chances as controlling ball, especially team like Basaksehirspor, would not be enough for them to get an important win. It also needs to be noted that absence of Ricardo Quaresma also affected to the game outcome without doubt as style of the game has been very suitable for him and he could have got into many chances for sure. Besiktas therefore did provide right tempo during game but needs to sort out its creativity in upcoming games.
Besiktas right now has found itself 6 points behind league leaders Basaksehirspor and has lost an opportunity to get to the top of table with their opponents.
Basaksehirspor has got into leadership with 4 points advantage.
Basaksehirspor with a win against Besiktas, thanks to single from Epureanu on 18th minute, has secured league leadership at the end of the 11th week with 4 points advantage over Galatasaray and Antalyaspor.
Most interestingly aspect is that Basaksehirspor has managed to do that without actually providing same level of quality as it did from last season, but with this league entirely going with surprising result and fall of level and without doubt experience which was experienced by team has played an important role. For instance, with taking account of providing an attacking game, Basaksehirspor didnt show great game against Besiktas but focussing towards defensive game and organised performance with being aware that Besiktas in sense of quality of players are stronger side has played an important role for winning such game with single result. Basaksehirspor mentally seems to be aware what needs to be done in upcoming weeks and this factor should be able to push level of the team into ahead and carry on performing with high confidence and could easily end 1st half of the season as leaders if their would carry on such performance while others will show unstable performance.
Basaksehirspor has got into leadership but still needs to improve its performance as season would get tougher without doubt by each game for sure and would become team to beat from other clubs.
