Galatasaray has won crucial game against Kayserispor with help of Henry Onyekuru.
Galatasaray has managed to get an important win during Super League 12th week game against Kayserispor with 3:0 scoreline despite of absences of almost whole main squad due of injuries and bans and also starting game without Fatih Terim at his head coach role due of 6-game ban.
Galatasaray has got such an important win game mainly due of very good tactical performance as among finding chances and goals with especially Henry Onyekuru 2 goals, it has also showed good performance at defence position. It needs to be stated that even Galatasaray in normal circumstances would be coming out as strong favourite but it did raise some questions of Galatasaray capabilities with missing some of the key players and main leader Fatih Terim not being able to control game at his usual position. However smart tactical game and organised performance of the team has provided good game without letting Kayserispor to get many chances while Henry Onyekuru did use his both chances at top position and has extended position himself also. It was also good to see for Omer Bayram to find his 1st goal this season scoring against his old team. Meanwhile, their was worrying position of Muslera who has got serious injury into head but has managed to continue game until he was substituted likely for precautions reasons towards end of game.
Kayserispor meanwhile has continued pretty poor performance right now and didnt manage to get any upper hand as the game has been progressed and red card which was recieved has ended any chances for them. It does look Kayserispor are one of the team which does need some works to be done during national team break.
With Galatasaray not getting good results and with many things at the team going against them with injuries and bans it was important for confidence and self-belief to win today and this could be one of the most important wins for the team this season.
Yeni Malatyaspor loss should be waking up call for Trabzonspor.
Trabzonspor has provided without doubt one of their dissapointing performances during this season as it has lost one of the in-form teams Yeni Malatyaspor with 5:0 scoreline and even through team did create number of the chances it was good enough at all.
As been mentioned, Trabzonspor could be noted has created high amount of the chances as the game has been progressed but its hard to state that team has shown good performance with 5:0 scoreline and main argument could be related to the attacking performance. It is important to note in all fairness that Yeni Malatyaspor on other side has shown very good organised and motivating performance with team's main players Aleksic, Guilherme taking main role with using their opportunities while Trabzonspor defenders has failed to do any prevention to their opponents as all 5 shots from Yeni Malatyaspor on target has been scored. Trabzonspor quite rightly has felt disbelief and huge sadness from game results after yesterday performance, but during national team break team needs to identify and state what went wrong as club didnt manage to win any single game after previous national team break and are entering with such poor performance. Only recently it was stated that team could fight for top position but recent games doesnt provide that view.
Trabzonspor should see this game against Yeni Malatyaspor as wake up call and start working into going forward if it doesnt want to have another dissapointing performance right now.
Fenerbahce are expected to keep on improving as it would meet against Alanyaspor.
Fenerbahce would be coming out to the crucial game against Alanyaspor during Super League 12th week, as today's win of Erzurumspor against Goztepe has pushed Istanbul side into relegation zone.
Even through Fenerbahce has found itself at unusual area where it doesnt want to find itself, we need to state that Fenerbahce did show some improvement with its performance as it has drawn against Galatasaray and beat Anderlecht at Europa League with Erwin Koeman, and even through its not still enough for team with Fenerbahce calibre at performance, the movement of performance does seem to be going up right now. It is sure that Alanyaspor would wish to meet with their opponents few weeks before than now. With Mathieu Valbuena taking leading role both tactically and also with scoreline during last 2 games, is expected to be once again to become key role with looking with creating chances. It is true that Valbuena tend to ball lots of ball, but taking account his speed to go forward while having ball means that he would raise tempo of whole team as other players seems to be failing to do so. Fenerbahce right now does look to be strong favourite of the game as Alanyaspor also shows some decline of their performance as in one point it did show good game.
