Besiktas didnt provide any creative performance against Basaksehirspor.
Basaksehirspor has won an important game against Besiktas during Super League 11th week game with goal from Epureanu and hence has made its leadership to 4 points against its closest opponents Antalyaspor and Galatasaray, while Besiktas has lost its chance to get to same points with their rivals.
Besiktas didnt provide a great performance against Basaksehirspor and even through it did create some good chances during game but didnt use their chances at best manner for sure and didnt manage to get into tempo which was shown during last week against Rizespor. Besiktas to some extend did provide some passing game but didnt find ways how to find chances against organised Basaksehirspor and even through Besiktas was one to go into attacking game during 2nd half it has failed to get very important chances as game continued. It needs to be admitted that Besiktas didnt provide much creative game and has continued at not winning at the Basaksehirspor stadium, as in all of the time it has only 1 game in its history. Therefore, Besiktas did control game but it wasnt able to provide creative game which has prevented them to find goals. It does seem that Besiktas did lose its tempo and creativity during this season which has led them to be 6 points behind Basaksehirspor.
Even through it could be argued that Basaksehirspor doesnt provide same level performance as it did last season in sense of the tempo and more focussing into organised and patient game it has got an important win and now finds itself 4 points difference with its closest opponent and without doubt would aim to carry on performance in such manner.
Besiktas did show during this game that it has lost its tempo and creativity which we had been used to see from them in previous season and team needs to figure out what went wrong with side.
Galatasaray has lost game as it was winning with 2:0 scoreline.
Even through derby game between Galatasaray and Fenerbahce, which has ended with 4 goals, sadly would be remembered with an events which happened after final whistle with fight between both sides players and even more sadly with death of Fenerbahce supporter Koray Sener.
Coming to the game however, Galatasaray it needs to be stated has lost the game while winning with 2:0 scoreline with possibly being too confident that it would be winning game during last 40 minutes. Even through prior to conceding goal from Mathieu Valbuena from penalty, Galatasaray did look to be stronger and much more organised side, with getting what it wants, their didnt in all fairness didnt provide great performance and has looked to be upper side with poor performance from Fenerbahce. In fact, when Fenerbahce did provide much better motivated and attacking game, it became visible that Galatasaray wasnt at its best condition and more importantly wasnt able to react from positive performance from Fenerbahce. Even through Galatasaray head coach Fatih Terim did blame referee of game Firat Aydinus, for loss of points, even through he was right about out decision to be wrong prior to 2nd goal, he needs to find mistakes from themselves as it was his team and his decisions which has led them to end draw game which their had control of until 66th minute. It does look like Galatasaray would have difficult season both in domestic and European competitions.
Galatasaray would need to improve its performance during Champions League 4th week game against Schalke 04 if it wants to get out from group stage.
Fenerbahce has started playing good football after Valbuena penalty goal.
Fenerbahce performance during derby game should be divided into 2 halves as it did provide very bad performance, in fact one of the worst derby performance in recent history but after Valbuena goal from penalty showed great performance last 30 minutes.
This performance could be related to the factor of being unconfidence from their poor performance in recent weeks and not being able to find goals as this season continues. This stressful factor did play negative role of its performance and what could be saved their position is goal regardless if it came from in-game, set piece or penalty. And it did come from penalties. Fenerbahce due of its condition would be more happy with this performance and could provide good motivation and confidence to the team as it would be coming to very important game against Anderlecht which could be deciding game for them to get to the 2nd round of Europa League. Meanwhile, Jailson great goal led him to provide motivation but his movement toward Youness Belhanda after game has been one of the reasons of tension to be raised between players and does need to control his actions to prevent this factors in future especially taking account that Turkey is very high-blooded and those behaviour could provide lots of issues after actions.
Fenerbahce did provide great half an hour and it needs to be stated also Erwin Koeman did have some positive effect on the team at least towards end of this game and did provide some good signs to fans and administrators for now.
