Fenerbahce has started game very poorly at derby but ended game with great attacking game.
One of the most important derby games in the world has been ended with 2:2 scoreline during Super League 11th week as the game could be seen with two different storylines during 1st 60 minutes when Galatasaray has dominated game and last half an hour as goal from Mathieu Valbuena has changed storyline of the game.
Even through derby game didnt start at very high tempo it needs to be admitted that Galatasaray has shown good start of the game with controlling ball and creating chances even through it didnt allow Fenerbahce to get much into game. Saying that, its hard to state that Galatasaray did start game in the way it wanted to as poor performance during 1st half of the Fenerbahce has led Galatasaray to dominate game from its capacity with its squad and also from mistakes has been provided with their opponents. Stating that Galatasaray still find two good goals and had provided view that it might be going for comfortable win with leading 2:0 scoreline. However, after penalty goal from Valbuena, Galatasaray has failed to dominate in same manner once again and for around 20 minutes has allowed Fenerbahce to control game. Without doubt team would be dissapointed to lose its opportunity to get this win against its opponent when their being at weakest form but with Galatasaray also not being in good condition did play an important role for this outcome.
It needs to be stated meanwhile that Fenerbahce until goal scored from Mathieu Valbuena at 66th minute, has provided one of its worst derby performances in recent years with making high number of the mistakes and not being to even play organised passing game and have made lots of simple mistakes. However, the goal which was scored from Valbuena without doubt has provided confidence and motivation to the players which led them for around 20 minutes to be one playing attacking game and has created high number of dangerous chances. Even through after great goal from Jailson, Fenerbahce didnt score winning goal it was one which was looking for chances and didnt provide defensive game in similar manner as it did against Anderlecht in 2:2 scoreline. It needs to be stated in all fairness that if Fenerbahce did start game in similar manner as it has ended game it would been closer to win game as Galatasaray did manage to provide such pressure to Fenerbahce during whole game. Last 30 minutes did provide positive image but prior to that it didnt show good performance which of course could be due of pressure which players has felt from previous results.
Derby game didnt start at great way and didnt satisfy into mood of derby game with both sides providing slow tempo game but last 30 minutes has been exciting and game has ended with draw as Fenerbahce did show great comeback during game.
Basaksehirspor due of their status would have less pressure against Besiktas compare to their opponents.
Even through the main focus of the Turkish sports media quite naturally has been focussed into big Istanbul derby between Galatasaray and Fenerbahce, their is actually also an important game taking place this week between Basaksehirspor and Besiktas.
Coming to the table, it needs to be even stated that this game is even more important as it has direct connection with race for leadership at the league as Basaksehirspor would be able to keep their leadership if their manage to beat Istanbul rivals, while Besiktas in case of winning would have same points with its opponent. Even through Besiktas didnt provide great performance in recent weeks, it did get an important and confident win against Rizespor even through their were some circumstances which led game to end with such result at the end of the day. It needs to be also mentioned that
Besiktas does have pretty bad record at Basaksehirspor stadium and with lack of media and supporters pressure, Basaksehirspor would be able to provide much better performance. It needs to be noted however that Basaksehirspor despite being leaders are not showing great performance and does play slowly, so raising tempo for Besiktas could be key to get a win.
Its hard to call favourite but factors like being at leadership and lack of pressure compare to Besiktas,
Basaksehirspor does have small upper hand at the game for sure.
Alanyaspor opened case demanding its transfer fee from Besiktas for Vagner Love.
Alanyaspor has announced that it has rightfully opened case against Besiktas for not playing transfer fee for 2nd time for its transfer of Vagner Love and in this manner makes it clear for fighting for its right.
Even through Besiktas would have some reasonable reasons for not paying its share due of economical situation, it needs to be remembered that Alanyaspor have and in fact might have even more serious issues right now and not following agreement of transfer of Vagner Love from Besiktas would make things even worser for them. Therefore, it does look ot be a fault for Besiktas for not providing payments to the team as was agreed. Sadly, there is not information available right now why Besiktas didnt provide those payments and what led for Alanyaspor to go for this matter, but it would be reasonably to predict that Alanyaspor did have talks with Beiktas about this issue as it would not go directly to the court without talking about matter with Besiktas and defence which was provided by Besiktas at one-on-one didnt provide satisfaction. Besiktas currently needs to solve this issue for sure and find ways to end this in best manner as possible.
As been stated, Alanyaspor has used its way to demand for cash in such a manner for transfer fee and Besiktas are ones who to blame to get into this condition.
