What happened in Turkish football today? 13/05/2020

3rd person has been affected by Covid19 from Fenerbahce

Fenerbahce carries on recieving some unwanted news regarding from Covid 19 tests, as it became clear that one of the administrators of the club has got positive result and has joined 2 staff members who been diagnosed earlier.

With this development, currently Fenerbahce is being mostly affected from this virus at least from reported cases and it does look that it would affect whole team as been stated from previous blog entry, Fenerbahce has quite understading cancelled training session for future date due of uncertainty which team is being right now with this virus could be spreading at facilities. As our page, always states we would be hoping and wishing that all of the people would be showing strong and fast recovery from this virus at football community and generally.

This does show as been noted beforehand worry at Fenerbahce as in less then 1 week period it was been reported 3 people in the club who have been affected from Covid 19.

100 Besiktas administrator and staff members have went through Covid 19 tests.

Its been reported that 100 of the Besiktas administrators and staff members has went through Covid 19 tests on 13th May due of precautions reasons as one of the player and staff member has been reported of Covid19 positive result last week.

Due of spreading factor of this virus, Besiktas did right thing to go for another tests as their would be high possibility that some of the personal who had direct contact with unnamed infected ones could also recieve and hence would be able to identify if their also got virus on early stage and likely start earlier process of recovery and for sure results from this test would be very important to see  if situation in Besiktas is more serious then it is been reported in the club regarding virus. It is expected that those results would become clear on 14th May.

Therefore, it would be interesting to see how virus would affect Besiktas with high hopes that all results would be reported as negative.

Mete Duren statements shows their is disagreements within TFF regarding restarting season on 12th June.

TFF has kept its stance for restart of its league on 12th June, even through it did once again state of "for now" point, even through statements from TFF health committee Mete Duren does provide that their disagreements within organisation.

For last, 2 days TFF health committee does provide criticism for federation, which he is member of himself, for restarting league on 12th June and does provide statement that he is expected from Health Committee and government, with taking account that things would be going worser, to make their move with not providing green light for restart of the season. Duren has also made clear that some clubs even through showing their trying, are not going through entirely well with "back to normal in football brochure" entirely and some of the views would provide some worries for leagues to be able to restart on this day. This statements from Duren hence does provide strong image that there is some disagreements at TFF regarding restart of the season, but it does look high position does push for leagues to be restarted.

Factor of statement of TFF of "for now" with putting date as on 12th June does make it clear that its been uncertain period and how virus would be spreading in Turkey would make final decision.
