What happened in Turkish football today? 30/04/2020

Fenerbahce resumes training session on 4th May.

Fenerbahce has announced that it would be resuming training session on 4th May, following 3-day curfew, as all clubs start showing reaction with training programme to discussed restart of the season on 12th June.

As been noted by our page several times, restart of the season is still being unclear but teams without doubt would need to show preparation for this to happen accordingly, and this decision would mean that Fenerbahce will be acting accordingly to this. As all of the clubs in Turkey and across Europe, Fenerbahce would start its training session with groups of 4-5 players due of following social distancing rule as it would be aiming to get back into normality.

Coming to the restart of the season, upcoming days of Ramazan as been noted would be crucial during period of recovery from Covid 19 and hence would provide more clear picture for restart of the season.

Denizlispor tests for Covid 19 has turned out to be all negative.

Denizlispor has announced that it did come across to any of the Covid 19 cases following full tests which been run by club players, technicall and staff members which do some extend  is being green light for club to continue its training session.

It needs to be noted in all fairness that from its known, since season has been postponed in Turkey with strict rules provided by club all of the players has followed social distancing and staying home rules in thoroughly manner, which could mean that it is very unlikely for them to get positive results but still their need to be careful as clubs start calling for them to come into facilities where it would continue training session and hence would mean interaction with people outside of home and facilities, and their would need to keep that into minumum to reduce chance for getting positive outcome.

Denizlispor has provided positive outcome and it would be great to hear similar news from other clubs.

Due of Covid 19, Besiktas will be changing its transfer policy.

Economy of football clubs following Covid 19 is been highly discussed around Europe right now, and Besiktas without doubt would be among ones hardest hit as its condition has been pretty poor even before pandic.

Besiktas head coach Sergen Yalcin has stated that it would be having budget for summer transfer window of 30 million euro which needs to be noted in today footballing world, or more precise before Covid19 is being pretty low. In fact, it also known that due of this condition Besiktas would be focussing into its academy and when it does do some transfers it would be focussing into younger player who are showing high potential and could get hence some good results for the competition. This tactic would hence also help team to focus into making money rather then spending. Therefore, it does look role of scouts to make such transfer policy into effectivity and get returns at the end.

Besiktas policy would also let for other clubs to follow similar transfer policy at least for next transfer window.
