Besiktas did show some improvement from previous games but its not enough.
Even through Besiktas didnt manage to get a win and didnt show great performance against Partizan during Europa League play-off round 1st leg game as game has ended with 1:1 scoreline, it still shown some improvement from previous game and got an advantage scoreline.
Coming to the game itself, it needs to be stated that Besiktas did look much stronger side compare to their opponents and that is taking account that their didnt show best performance. What was important during the game is fast reaction to the conceded goal which has come from Partizan at 14th minute, with a great header from Tolgay Arslan right in next minute. Cross and also creation of chance by Ricardo Quaresma also needs to be noted as player continues to show great performance. Partizan even through during game did look focussed didnt provide many dangerous attacks and has provided pretty defensive game which would been unexpected from them since their played at home.
If Besiktas would play good game in 2nd leg at home it should be able to get to the group stage at the tournament for sure but it still needs to improve its performance as its not in level of last season.
But as stated, Besiktas has improved with its performance and provides great hope for this season both domestically and in Europe.
New Fenerbahce would focus to win against Goztepe.
Fenerbahce is going to resume its Super League campaign with a game against Goztepe after it has lost last week against Yeni Malatyaspor and would need to show great reaction and keep their aims for top spot this season realistic.
It is known that all problems which Fenerbahce has experienced during last season has been due of poor performance at the start of the season and with losing to 2nd week game it is important not to continue as been stated by some players and also head coach Phillip Cocu. Hence, it would be reasonable to expect team which would be providing a pretty strong performance against Goztepe which also didnt start in a season as their were aiming as and would also hope to show good performance with taking account that Fenerbahce didnt show great performance during last week. Other factor of this game is being case that team would play without any Brasilian for long time and it among curiousities how new Fenerbahce system with some changes at squad, especially without Josef de Souza, would be performing. It would come out as favourite especially taking account start of Goztepe but it needs to be aware that their opponents would aim for a win.

Trabzonspor aims to keep their motivation and performance level at top against Ankaragucu.
Trabzonspor would be aiming to carry on its high level performance which their had shown during last week against Sivasspor and would kept its supporters and also its motivation at high spots for upcoming weeks.
With Trabzonspor which was heavily criticised during 1st week game against Basaksehirspor, it has managed to turn around its performance against Sivasspor and hence it would be accepted that team would continue to show high level performance during game against Ankaragucu. With Ankaragucu not being able to start season in good way as would been hoped for them, it would been accepted that their would have difficult time with highly focussed team which aims to have a good season without doubt. Only downsides for Trabzonspor is absence of Burak Yilmaz who is currently injured and would have lack at front of the field, but to some extend Hugo Rodallega who was great last week is capable to take role of Yilmaz. Trabzonspor would be coming out as strong favourite but as always it needs to be highly concentrated into the game and provide good performance.
Win against Ankaragucu, would certainly provide motivation at high for Trabzonspor especially prior to Galatasaray game.
