Besiktas is coming as strong favourite against Dinamo Kiev
Besiktas is going to restart its Champions League campaign against Ukrainian successful team Dinamo Kiev at the 2nd week game of Group B where Besiktas is coming as favourite comparing to the recent form of the two teams.
As it is known, Besiktas is carrying on this season at high note starting Super League with 3 wins and 2 draws, including coming back against Galatasaray while losing with 2:0 scoreline during 5th week derby game. The team is also at the high mood after drawing with Benfica during 1st week of the Champions League by incredible goal scored by Talisca in Portugal at the last minute. Besiktas has all reasons to look at this game at high note as Dinamo Kiev, who was pretty successful at the previous season in Ukrainian league, is showing good performance by losing games and conceding goals fact which would be positive to Besiktas who tend to score high number of goals at its recent performances. Therefore, the team which is in at the form is coming as strong favourites and it is known that Dinamo Kiev are aware of that and worried about the game.
It needs to be stated also that Besiktas will play game at the home which is certainly an extra motivation and would make positive impact to rest campaign if it manages to win game.
Jan Olde Riekerink doesnt deserve criticism since he brought team into legs after next season.
Galatasaray head coach Jan Olde Rikerink seems to be unfairly criticised of his coaching decisions at the 2nd half of the Super League 5th week game against Besiktas where it has drawn while winning 2:0 but Levent Nazifoglu stated its unfair to criticise him with his latest performances.
Jan Olde Riekerink needs to be remembered that he has come head coach as temporary one and in very miserable time and despite of all that he has managed to win Turkish Cup and Super Cup winning both Fenerbahce and Besiktas. Galatasaray supporters should see him as saviour. And yes some of his decisions and lack to provide fast decision against Besiktas were visible but he still provided great performance at this period. In fact, its hard to criticise him to decide providing defence football against team which is showing very active football and has introduced to the field Talisca at the start of 2nd half. As Nazifoglu stated Riekerink should be praised and not criticised.
Remembering that he came as youth coach and didnt even want to be head coach it is very impressive of his performance at the main squad and he would be continuing this form very likely in upcoming weeks.
Bursaspor is currently 2nd at the league.
Bursaspor has provided best start of the league history, even better than when it became champions, with obtaining 12 points and standing at the 2nd place with 1 point behind leaders Basaksehirspor.
Bursaspor has obtained so far 4 wins and 1 loss with head coach Hamza Hamzaoglu and does show in fact very impressive football with scoring 7 goals and providing an organised football. Hamza Hamzaoglu has always had potential to provide top football with Bursaspor as soon as he came and kinda shows that it was not correct decision to sack him from Galatasaray. Its not that Galatasaray is doing worser than him but he could provide very similar results with club if he stayed right now and has lots of areas to improve on. During this period Bursaspor has also managed to win Fenerbahce which was struggling to get into its feet with poor start of the season.
Bursaspor head coach Hamza Hamzaoglu with those impressive start would surely aim for top 5 at the end of the season right now and even through league seems to be divided arleady in two halves the top half does look to be excited at early stages of season.
