Fenerbahce poor performance is slowly getting into crises situation for the team.
Fenerbahce has carried on its start of the Super League without winning any single game with losing two and drawing one games, this time losing to Bursaspor with a 1:0 scoreline. This is the worst team ever had at the league history. So far, Fenerbahce has a trouble of setting its play which it has promised to its fans when Dick Advocaat has joined team.
Fenerbahce does have serious issues at showing its strength at this season especially showing big issues at the defence and even through the team did create high number of the chances during the game it had big issues at converting them. One of the biggest issues which was observed at today's game and during this season is also issues at the defence as team has trouble finding alternative to Simon Kjaer which has recieved red card from previous game. Fenerbahce was in some occassions provided some attacks but it did recieve low number of chances as it didnt provide fast football and it has trouble at going forward due of weak play of the midfielders. This game has provided once again that Fenerbahce head coach Dick Advocaat has trouble at finding solutions such as creating chances and is pretty far away from attacking football which he is seeking for.
Meanwhile, Bursaspor has provided impressive performance staying focus whole game and not allowing Fenerbahce to creating chance and did do great work for preventing them going forward. Bursaspor has gained 6 points after this game at the league and does show some positive performance after dissapointing last week game.
Fenerbahce does provide poor performance at the league and it might be difficult for them to focus into Europa League against Zorya Lugansk game and in fact getting negative result from outsider of the group could create lots of stress to Advocaat. Right now Fenerbahce is 8 points behind the leaders only after 3 games. Team need to solve those issues soon.
Trabzonspor has risk of having similar performance as it did last season.
Trabzonspor has lost 2nd game back-to-back this time against Osmanlispor at the Super League and hence start providing an image of not very strong team as it did at the previous season and shows that team needs to lots of improvement for this transition season to go well.
It does need to be stated that Osmanlispor is a tough opponent which has set big targets for this season and Europa League and hence it was obviously that this game would be tough one before it has started. In fact, this is third game back-to-back when Osmanlispor has won Trabzonspor. The team had a big problems at creating chances and even controlling game and had provided an image of a team which doesnt seem to be ready and even through some blame could be thrown towards playing without fans it needs to be reminded that previous game without supporters Trabzonspor has provided much better performance and has won it. It is important for Trabzonspor head coach Ersun Yanal to find solution or the team would have very similar season from last year and still provide just a mediocre team view of the team who would being outside of the fighting for league title in the next season.
Osmanlispor meanwhile has provided very organised and compact football providing an image that it is ready for Europa League 1st week against Romanian side Steaua Bucharest. It carries on showing its superiority against Trabzonspor and carries on providing high class football gaining interest from Turkish football fans.
Trabzonspor does need to improve from this performance or it would have similar issues it has experienced during last season. It needs to give motivational boost to the players.
Besiktas has got an important motivation boost prior to Champions League game against Benfica.
Besiktas carries on providing top football at its stadium Vodafone Arena where it has won all of the games and has scored no less than 3 goals while playing 5 games at their ground. This time it has managed to win Karabukspor at very fast-paced football with 3:1 scoreline.
This win was an important won both at the sense of the motivation prior to the Champions League 1st week game against Benfica which it has managed to do so with very good game. It could be stated, as been mentioned at the blog yesterday, this was first time when Besiktas has provided football in similar way as it did last season, that is attacking focussed game with controlling the ball. It needs to be stated that Talisca performance did satisfy everyone as he showed very attacking football creating and getting into positions. Taking account that he is not at his highest form right now and does need time to get better, he did clearly show that he would become an important player at the team attempt to take league title. However, there is question if this game is good enough against Benfica, however the willingness to win the game could be big boost for the team as long as it stays focus to the game also.
Besiktas head coach Senol Gunes as it is known didnt take some players so their would be ready for game against Benfica on 13th September and with taking account that their had pretty long break after World Cup qualifier it is expected that part of team would be ready and focussed to provide hard time to the Benfica.
