What happened in Turkish football today? 07.09.2016

Emre Mor needs to reduce his high ego to fulfill his potential.

After game against Croatian National Team at the World Cup 2018 qualifiers, one of the main discussion topics has been agressive reaction by Turkish National Team player Emre Mor when he was substituted at the 2nd half and showing general reaction at the game at the field.

Foremostly, it is important to note once again that Emre Mor is surely being very quality player and being only 19 years old he is arleady playing at the Borussia Dortmund and he could easily become one of the best players in Turkey at the future. But it is important to keep himself calm and focussed and not get into star gaze mood.It is not easy to control its ego when stardom hits so early. This signs were unfortunately present at the Croatia game where he showed negative reaction to the teammates when not recieving good passes, playing ball to egoistically and his reaction for the substitute.
Turkish National Team head coach Fatih Terim who knows to be strict, even through is reported to only talk to Emre Mor and proving warning to him, could provide some more drastic reaction towards him in the future which includes not taking him to the squad if such behaviour would continue by him. It was also reported that number of players were unhappy with his reactions and told him to calm down.

Emre Mor could risk his career as it happen with so many players if he will not behave calmly and respectfully and needs to keep his ego at low. Otherwise, it would be very sorry for him and Turkish football in overall to lose such a potential star.

With this atmosphere away derby supporters ban would stay for long time.

As it is remembered, before start of the football season at the Turkey, Club's Union has announced that the ban for away games during the derby games should be lifted and has provided to open talks with government however this talks has been not followed up with Istanbul mayor Vahbi Sahin said that the ban is still in effect for this season.

The first game after this announcement, between Besiktas and Galatasaray in Antalya for Super Cup was a great test as that ban didnt affect to that derby game as it is played in neutral field. If the game didnt go through with hooliganism, ban could been raised however with hooliganism behaviour, especially by Galatasaray fans has led for this not to take place. Even through attempted coup d'etat post-effects has shown that the country is in union and this could have positive circumstances to the football, that behaviour did show that it is early to lift the ban, if of course in nature in Turkey it will be time to do at any moment in future. It is certain that ban would continue for this season and consideration would be done for next season with this setmind of fans and hooligans it does seem to be unlucky for it to be lifted.

Super Cup events reminded everyone that this ban would stay for longer time and there are people at the community who doesnt want for ban to be lifted.

Moussa Sow wants to stay at the club for long period of time.

Fenerbahce player Moussa Sow who has returned to the club from Saudi Arabian club Al Ahli has stated that he is specifically glad to be back to his old club and has stated that he did miss atmosphere and club in overall.

Even through he states that financially he was in better condition in Al Ahli, he did state that it felt weird and not motivating to play at the country and club who is not really focussed into football. He states that he missed this atmosphere, supporters and despite of being loaned to the team he intends to stay at the club for longer period of time. However, as it needless to state, he needs to prove to the team and Dick Advocaat that he is player which it should keep but with his previous performance at the club he should not have much problems at achieving that this season. In fact, as been mentioned last week at the blog, he does fit into charecteristics of midfielder which Dick Advocaat is looking for.

Therefore, there should not be any issues for Moussa Sow to prove his worth once again to Fenerbahce and surely the club would keep him for next season and longer if he performs like he did in previous years at the team.
