Besiktas has announced that it has transferred Rijeka player Matej Mitrovic for 3.5 years for 4,200,000 euro transfer fee. Even more interestingly Mitrovic will become one of the most paid players at the team with 1,200,000 euro per season, which makes 4,200,000 euro in total.
In fact, there are questions of why Mitrovic would recieve such a high salary from Besiktas taking account that he is not highly known player in the footballing world. As been mentioned, at the previous blog it is clear that Matej Mitrovic is strong player and would push forward performance of the team at the defence area but it does seem like Besiktas has more trust on him and possible has more information about him than the Turkish media. Playing at the defence he is capable to provide strong performance in his area as would Fenerbahce loan player Oleksandr Karavayev as both players due of young age can provide fast and brave football and occassionally go forward at standard pieces.One of the main questions is would Mitrovic fulfill his salary with good performance and time would show that.
There is been lots of conversation that Mitrovic is high quality players and being close to be level to be selected to Croatian National Team and hence its transfer on target for making Besiktas defence even stronger.
Its time to convince Aatif Chachehouhe for Fenerbahce to join Trabzonspor to get Mehmet Ekici in return.
Fenerbahce are close to transfer Trabzonspor player Mehmet Ekici as both clubs and players seem to agree about transfer but it seems to be case to convince now Aatif Chahechouhue to join Black Sea team.
Fenerbahce among its offer has provided Aatif Chachecheohue to join Trabzonspor but there are rumours that player is reluctant to move to the team possibly to the poor performance of the team this season and feeling that he still can prove himself at Istanbul club. It became clear that Fenerbahce has even told that if he doesnt go he would be put to reserve team, but Aatif still refused. Stating that both sides now have an important task to convince Aatif or otherwise Mehmet Ekici joining to the Fenerbahce could be big issue at the upcoming days. As Mehmet Ekici was close to join Galatasaray, it became known that Galatasaray could not make good deal with Trabzonspor and right now player is willing to join Istanbul-Asian team to prove himself at the team which fights for league title.
The deal between sides is expected to be announced latest next week and it does look that this transfer is finalised even through negotiations still takes place between parties, especially regarding Aatif issue.
Martin Caceres is expected to arrive to Trabzon on 8th January.
The biggest transfer development which been discussed in sports media today has been fact that Trabzonspor has made transfer deal with Juventus player Martin Caceres.
According to reports, Martin Caceres is expected to come to Trabzon on 8th January to finalise transfer negotiations with the player showing strong interest to join the team. Martin Caceres is a strong player but this season is not going pretty well for him and he does show downside at the Juventus and has down performance during this season. Being right now 29 years old it needs to be stated that he still has time to prove himself and very likely would see this transfer to Trabzonspor as an attempt just do to that. As usual, its hard to call how, especially foreign players would perform, but there is good chance he would show good performance.
If this transfer does happen, it has good chance to be one of the eye-catching transfers during this midseason transfer window and make Trabzonspor strong again in future.
