Turkish National Team had very dissapointing year in 2016.
Following qualifiying to the Euro 2016 with a wonder goal by Selcuk Inan at last week of the Euro 2016 qualifiers, there was lots of expectation for the Turkish National Team to show good performance in France especially with tournament new format.
Despite of all this expectation, Turkish National Team has shown a very poor performance being to some extend seen as the worst performed team at the whole tournament among Russia. With all of the teams giving their best at the Euro 2016, Turkish National Team didnt show any effort and didnt show fighting spirit. Turkish National Team head coach Fatih Terim has recieved high amount of the criticism for not able to help them to provide high performance. The criticism towards team quitly right has been a lot which led to the Fatih Terim to punish high number of players during World Cup qualfiiers games, such as Burak Yilmaz and Arda Turan. Turkish National Team didnt have a good year at all and needs to improve a lot for upcoming year.
Turkish National Team has now set a task to qualify to World Cup 2018 in Russia with Fatih Terim and it needs to improve and show more fighting spirit this year to be in Russia.
Trabzonspor had a poor performance during whole year.
Trabzonspor had a very bad period during whole of the 2016 as it didnt manage to perform high class performance both during previous season at the Super League and at the current season.
With Trabzonspor changing its CEO from Ibrahim Haciosmanoglu to the Muharrem Usta there was bigh expectation that team would provide an improving performance with Usta underlying that the team would be looking for the transition season for the upcoming season. However, quite opposite Trabzonspor has shown even more worser performance compare to previous season hardly winning any games. The administration had always underlined patience to the fans, but their quite rightly has been losing it as their want to see their teams at the top positions at the league.
Trabzonspor would have difficult rest period and urgently need to transfer a strong attacker which it didnt do during summer trasfer window.
Osmanlispor has been one of the biggest surprises of 2016.
One of the most talking teams of the 2016 has been impressive performance at the Super League at the last season and also performance at the current system at the Europa League by the Osmanlispor.
Osmanlispor even when losing has gathered high number of support from football lovers due their positive aspect the fotball and has presented an impressive results during that period. Osmanlispor has started Europa League as earliest during Europa League at the 2nd qualifying round and in half year has found itself at the Europa League 2nd round stage among Fenerbahce and Besiktas. Osmanlispor high performance has been also due of positve coaching performance by the Mustafa Resit Akcay who has shown some positive aspect to the players expecting players to give their best at the team.
Osmanlispor chances at the league are not very positive even through it still can fight for European spots at the end of the season, but their aim should be to go as much as possible at the Europa League which their can achieve.
