Besiktas has managed to win without much problems at one of the most difficult away games at the league.
Besiktas has managed to win one of the most tough away games against Osmanlispor at this league as it has managed to score 2 goals during the game. With the field not being at the perfect condition, Besiktas would be returning to the Istanbul with satisfied result.
It needs to be stated that cold weather and icy condition in the Ankara has affected the game itself for both sides and hence has led for Besiktas not to play its fast-paced which supporters of the team and general following of Super League were not used to see. Anderson Talisca finding an early goal at the 19th minute has certainly provided calmness to the team as the game carried on and it became clear that field condition made it even more difficult to control the game and create chances. Besiktas was also quite lucky for Osmanlispor not playing their best football which allowed them to play at not too fast tempo during the game apart of raising towards end of the game realising that Osmanlispor start playing more attacking football and also factor of playing with dangerous scoreline of the 1:0. Besiktas did play pretty good football with taking account of the condition of the field and did deserve today's win.
Osmanlispor didnt provide its best game during today's game and had some trouble to create effective chances however there were times when it was finding a goal which could change the game. Meanwhile, Osmanlispor goalkeeper Karcemarskas, being one of the best goalkeepers at the Super League, had played an important role for not making Besiktas goal difference even more bigger.
Besiktas has won one of the most difficult games at the Super League and has regained its 2nd place spot at the table from Galatasaray and carries on its fight to defend its title with confident manner.
Fenerbahce was not at their best tactically against Adanaspor.
Fenerbahce has provided dissapointing performance during Super League 17th week game against Adanaspor which finished with a scoreline of 2:2. Prior to the game, there was an expectation for Fenerbahce to recieve confident win against team which is prior to game was at 17th place at the table.
Fenerbahce didnt provide a football which fans were used to be seen by them and had issues at providing creativity at the front until last 10 minutes of the game and also big mistakes which were made at the midfield area. It looked like the players were not prepared to the game in perfect manner as there were signs by the players that their wanted to win the game. Stating that mistakes which were made by Aatif Chacheohue and Roman Neustadner during the game has cost them conceding two goals at the 1st half. The fact that Moussa Sow wasnt available at the field has also affected that factor which could lead to Fenerbahce found a crucial goal at the last minutes of the game. There was effort given by the players during 2nd half but it wasnt enough and there were many tactical mistakes made during the game which certainly needs to be solved prior to the upcoming week game against Basaksehirspor.
Fenerbahce wasn't providing their best game yesterday and needs to identify what mistakes were made prior to the Turkish Cup game against Genclerbirligi and certainly solve them for Basaksehirspor game at 18th week of the Super League.
Galatasaray must win against Elazigspor at the Turkish Cup.
Galatasaray will come out at the must-win game against Elazigspor during Turkish Cup 5th week game as it chances to qualify to the last 16 stage of the tournament are right now are pretty slim prior to last two games of the group stage at the tournament.
However, Galatasaray does have an advantage to play game tomorrow against weakest team at their group against Elazigspor where certainly if it wants to fight for defence for its title and not to be eliminated during group stage would need to get a win with also providing its best football.
