Besiktas will meet against Fenerbahce at the Turkish Cup last 16 stage.

Besiktas was coming out to the Turkish Cup 5th week game against Darica Genclerbirligi knowing that the draw would be enough for them to get a leadership at their own group with one game to be played in the hand. The following result has also meant that their would meet with Fenerbahce at the last 16 stage of the competition.

Taking account that Darica Genclerbirligi was pretty weak opponent for Besiktas it has come out with mainly reserve players and hence has dominated the game for most of the part with finding 2:0 confident scoreline after around 30 minutes with goals scored by Andreas Beck and Ricardo Quaresma. Playing at the friendly game mood Besiktas did manage to dominate game without providing too much effort as it carried on comfortable competition at relevantly easy group it has found itself. It would end group stage with Kayserispor game where it could help their opponents to get to the last 16 stage, as the result will not affect them at all.

Darica Genclerbirligi meanwhile has been weakest team at the group and hence has lost with such scoreline but as for most teams at the lower tier it certainly recieved lots of experience with playing against Super League teams like Kayserispor and Besiktas during this season group stage at the Turkish Cup.

Besiktas after game against Kayserispor, will meet against Fenerbahce at the last 16 becoming the most eye-catching game of this season Turkish Cup with those teams meeting so early at the tournament.

Last game of the group C of the Turkish Cup would be played for formalities.

Following the 2:2 scoreline of the Turkish Cup 5th week game between Genclerbirligi and
Fenerbahce it has become clear that both teams will get to the last 16 stage of the tournament and also that Genclerbirligi will be leaders and Fenerbahce runners-up.

At short the last game of this game will be taken totally of formalities as at the end of the day it has become one of the straight forward groups at the tournament. Stating that Fenerbahce was coming to the game with the aim to still have some chances for group leadership and avoid Besiktas. Right now, it looks like their would meet against Besiktas at the last 16 stage after playing their last formality games at the group. At this system there was always chance for big 4 teams to meet at the last 16 and it did become possible at this season.

Trabzonspor to get into last 16 stages are slim.

Trabzonspor has made its task to make to the last 16 in hard position even through the group was relatively easy for them and following good win against Bursaspor during 17th week of the Super League it was expected to them to get an easy win against Gumushanespor.

However, the team which has shown unstable performance at this season so long has failed to provide any top football which was even close to their performance against Bursaspor and has making their chance to qualify even harder taking account that group fate is not at their hand. Their would meet against Konyaspor which arleady qualified, while Gumushanespor who are 1 point ahead of them will meet against Kizilcabolukspor which are arleady out from competition. The chances of Trabzonspor are tough to qualify to next stage but it is still possible but first it needs to win Konyaspor.

Trabzonspor has made itself into mess with such a poor performance which more or less describes their season which their have and now their ticket to the last 16 does seem to be out of their hand.
