Both Bursaspor and Trabzonspor would aim to start 2017 with a win.
First official football game in the Turkey for the 2017 will be played between Bursaspor and Trabzonspor during Super League 17th week game where both teams would certainly aim for a win especially to some extend Bursaspor as it still will aim to keep itself at the edge of title race.
However, it is certain that Trabzonspor would aim to provide better performance at the 2017 compare to its disastrous football during whole of the 2016. The aim of this has been seen from the transfers as it has transferred players like Emmanuel Mas, Joao Pereira and yesterday transfer of Olcay Sahan. This start of bigger aim would be taken place against Bursaspor which is having a good season but did fail to provide good football against teams which are currently above at the table. Both teams for certainly would see this game as good way to start a year in a good way and make 2017 a very successful for their season and obviously aim to compete season at the high aim.
Bursaspor it needs to stay has an advantage and also Trabzonspor would certainly need time for newer players to get adapted to the league so Bursaspor is slightly favourite for this game.
Trabzonspor has transferred Olcay Sahan.
Trabzonspor has managed to transfer Besiktas player Olcay Sahan for 3.5 years in the transfer which it needs to be stated has come as a surprise especially with Besiktas administration stating that it will not sell its players at this transfer window.
It needs to be noted that following transfer could also be used as a tactic to get its player Trabzonspor player Mehmet Ekici which it aims to finalise deal and make move on summer transfer window. It is to some extend of move by Olcay Sahan as he did have good performance at Besiktas and seemed to be happy and for him to go on level down regardless fact that Trabzonspor is big club but as known its not running for league title. Stating that, this transfer would be good addition to the Trabzonspor as it would push team forward especially in the midfield area.
As noted, this transfer has been seen as a surprise but it could be used to make its negotiation place stronger for fight for the Mehmet Ekici.
Galatasaray has finally made deal with Genclerbirligi for Ahmet Calik.
Galatasaray has managed to come to the happy ending with the Genclerbirligi intense transfer negotiations for the Ahmet Calik where clubs has been agreed for the 2.5 million euro transfer fee.
As it is known, Galatasaray tried its best to reduce that amount first to the 2 million and later to the 2.2 million euro, but Genclerbirligi CEO Ilhan Cavcav has stated numerous times to the media that he has no intention to sell their star player for 2.5 million euro. With technicall staff making it clear to Galatasaray administration is needed for the team, Galatasaray did go at the end to the compromise and did make 3.5 year contract with Ahmet Calik at the end of the day. Ahmet Calik is a player at the national team level and does provide good game and strong performance at his area and hence it is expected that his addition to the Galatasaray would make team midfield much stronger as it has some issues this season.
Galatasaray has been spend time a lot during this negotiations and now time will show Ahmet Calik would fulfill effort given for his transfer.
