What happened in Turkish football today? 11.01.2016

Trabzonspor brings back its old player Carl Medjani for 1.5 year contract.

Trabzonspor has transferred free-agent player Carl Medjani for 1.5 years hence bringing back its previous player to the team once again hoping that he would have better spell and provide more help to the team during his 2nd stay at the team.

It needs to be mentioned that in overall previous stay of Carl Medjani was not too bad but still he didnt manage to fulfill all expectations and the point that before coming to Trabzonspor he wasnt at any team does show his current situation. Stating that it doesnt mean that he will not help team to go forward. For instance, their are advantage of him being familiar with the team, supporters and generally with Turkish league and hence he would not have any issue at adapting to the league. He became more known during his stay with the goal against Galatasaray, and he can score good number of goals.

Taking account that he will not have any problems with adapting to the Super League he could provide most stable performance among new signings during 1st games of the beginning of the 2nd half.

Fenerbahce has denied rumours of Chelsea interest into Simon Kjaer.

Fenerbahce has announced today that all of the news that Chelsea has offered 18 million euro for their player Simon Kjaer and that their close to transfer him are not truth and player is happy at the team.

It is known that Simon Kjaer with his eye-catching performances at the defence is among best players of the team and hence plays an important with the team. With so much aims for the 2nd half of the season for Fenerbahce, it is no surprise hence for him to leave the team. It is known that Dick Advocaat plays an important role for hard-working players and with Kjaer being among them plays an important role why this transfer does look to be unlucky if their was an offer. Hence, Fenerbahce would be foolish to sell its player Simon Kjaer or if their do their would ask for a higher price.

Simon Kjaer himself is also happy at the team and would not want to leave the team during at least this midseason transfer window with having high aims for rest of the season.

Mehmet Ekici wants to go to Fenerbahce, while Besiktas has started negotiation for him

It became clear that Besiktas is willing to loan Veli Kavlak and Kerim Frei to the Besiktas in return of purchasing Trabzonspor player Mehmet Ekici however it would loan back to Trabzonspor for mid-season due of current squad of club.

This is very interesting offer as the team is openly willing to close transfer deal before summer being worried that it might lose player to its opponents, probably Fenerbahce. Stating that it is reported that Mehmet Ekici is willing to move to Fenerbahce and would wait for end of the season when his contract is over with Trabzonspor so he can move himself with transfer fee. The interest between two sides is not over. With Besiktas getting into the way, Trabzonspor would certainly get into deal with team which provides best offer and there might be big fight at this upcoming triangle with high demands by Trabzonspor.

Stating that, it is still expected for Ekici will likely to move to Fenerbahce as he wants to move there and Trabzonspor doesnt seem to have big issues about this.
