Galatasaray has won an important game despite of not playing its best football.
Galatasaray has restarted Super League after midseason break with the 1:0 scoreline win against Konyaspor, at the game where Sabri Sarioglu has managed to score his first goal at the Super League after 5 years.
Galatasaray it needs to be stated has provided a very poor game for most part of the game and didnt provide much changes at the performance wise at the end of the last season. It still has provided a very poor performance by creating low number of chances despite of controlling games and hence led for Konyaspor to create high number of attacks during the game especially during 1st half and with some luck it didnt concede any goals from their opponents. One of the positive area though is the performance of the newly-signed player Garry Rodrigues who has was playing for 2nd half and has played an important role with the cross towards Sabri Sarioglu, unfortunately it will not be qualified as assist as Sabri Sarioglu 1st shot has returned from goalkeeper. It also was especially important for Sabri Sarioglu to score his 1st goal in 5 years. Still it was important for Galatasaray to win game with poor performance but it should not become habit for them.
Meanwhile, Konyaspor has provided a very good performance during 1st half showing an attacking football and showing signs that it wanted to win the game but with either being unlucky or not being able to convert chances it didnt find goals which it needed to win game. If Konyaspor plays with this tempo it could get good results in upcoming weeks.
Galatasaray has returned to 2nd half of the Super League with a win against tough opponent Konyaspor and hence carries on its aim for league title at the end of the season.Right now the team would certainly aim to solve its midfield area as Garry Rodrigues and Ahmet Calik get used to the team.
Trabzonspor has started 2017 with a good win against Bursaspor.
Trabzonspor has started the year of the 2017 with an impressive win against Bursaspor as it was certainly aiming to have better year compare to the 2016 and surely gain huge help with some revisions it has done prior to game.
It needs to be noted that Bursaspor was coming out as favourte to the game but taking account that Trabzonspor has played with 10 players for whole of the 2nd half it has still managed to control game without providing much chances to its own goal. This performance has certainly shown that Trabzonspor did spend pretty successful midseason transfer window at the Antalya and hence has gained a very important motivation which was stated by the media. Bursaspor is still team which fights for the league title, even through its been on edge of that race, but even due of that this result would give big motivation boost for the upcoming weeks. It is now important for Trabzonspor to build on this performance.
Trabzonspor has certainly aimed to win the game and try to get more controlled and good game at the game and it has managed to do that at the end of the game.
Fenerbahce will come out to the Adanaspor game with a high confidence.
Fenerbahce would restart its Super League season with the game against Adanaspor during 17th week game as it would be looking for a win against side which has a very poor season so far.
Fenerbahce it needs to be stated has ended last year in a confident manner with an important wins and has spend midseason training camp with the good way including winning two friendly games at the confident scoreline. With taking account the mood, difference between two sides and focus of the team Fenerbahce is coming as strong favourite but Adanaspor can be tough opponent at the same time as it is team which tries to get away from relegation zone as soon as possible. Fenerbahce would be big focus given to the new loan player Oleksandr Karavayev who has shown great performance both at defence and attack during friendly games and has shown that he is happy to be at such big club.
Fenerbahce would come out to the game with the aim to start year 2017 with a confident game and aim to stay at the title race after 17th week game.
